Guru Dakshata (Faculty Induction Program): The focus of this program was to give hands-on practice to the faculty on various e-learning platforms, the criticality of developing e-content for e-learning, and to draw their attention towards qualitative research, statistical analysis and life skills.
2. National Workshop On Research Methodology And Data Analysis Using 'SPSS': This workshop was conducted for students, faculty members from LPU as well as from various other institutions and research scholars. The workshop was a great success owing to the high demand for learning SPSS by the research scholars.

Q: Is PhD from LPU valid?
Yes, PhD degree from LPU is valid. The university provides a part-time and a full-time PhD in various specialisations. LPU's PhD programme is recognised by UGC and NAAC. The university is also ranked by various renowned ranking agencies like NIRF, THE, AIIA, etc. Interested candidates can visit the university's official website to apply or enquire about the programme. The university shortlists applicants for interview based on their score in the LPUNEST (PhD) entrance examination conducted by the university. The final selection for admission in PhD will be based on the performance in entrance test (70% weightage) and Interview (30% weightage), subject to scoring minimum marks in the interview.
Q: Is CAT compulsory for MBA in LPU?
CAT is one of the accepting exams for LPU admission. LPU conducts LPUNEST Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to MBA course. It is conducted in online mode every year. The test acts as an Entrance Test as well as Scholarship Test. The amount of scholarship is determined by the marks and rank obtained by candidates in the exam. LPUNEST is a 2.5 hours exam including 125 questions. Apart from LPUNEST, the university also accepts MAT, XAT and other Management entrance exam scores for admission. The shortlisted candidates are further called for GDPI round.
7. Short Term Course On Research Methodology: It is as same as what I have shared in point number three above the only difference is that this particular workshop is for a very duration of 3 days. Here both freshers and experienced candidates can participate.
8. Workshop for making the teaching interactive, engaging, and innovative for students.
9. Workshop On Digital Marketing: LPU has very experienced and talented faculty in the area of digital marketing. The resource persons available at LPU are experts in various domains of digital marketing. A large number of students not only from LPU but from outside attended this workshop. As a result, some of them started their youtube channels and they are running them successfully.
10. Workshop On Gamification: Simulation games hahaveeen an important part of students’ class assignments. So, faculty should be well versed with the advanced technology and software to be used for simulation games. For the same purpose, the university has taken help from freelancers who have expertise in this field. These freelancers have taught the faculty members and accordingly faculty members have shared the same knowledge with the students.
11. Workshop on Advanced Research Methodology: This particular workshop was conducted for those who are comfortable with the basics of research methodology and seek some advanced knowledge in the research area.
12. Workshop on Mental Health: This was the workshop conducted to know the status of mental health of a particular school. It was also helpful in counselling people to live a happy and satisfying life.
