DU is considered one of the most competitive universities in India for Commerce, Science and Arts education at the undergraduate level. However, starting 2022, DU admission process has shifted to CUET-UG based admission process. Those with a valid score in CUET UG exam who have passed their Class 12 are eligible to take admission now. While the chances of getting into a good DU college are still low at this score, the chances of getting a seat have increased now (provided you score extremely well in CUET UG).

Candidates need a minimum of 60% or more aggregate in the qualifying examination in these four subjects: English, Mathematics and two other main subjects to be eligible for admission.
