No, Maths is not a mandatory requirement but mathematics is a part of exam. Even the students from non-mathematics background are eligible to appear for the UGAT exam. However, the Quantitative Aptitude section of the UGAT exam is one of the toughest sections of UGAT and if the candidate wishes to ace the UGAT exam, then they need to brush up on your mathematics skills to get a good score in this section. Any student who has appeared for their Class 12 exams and passed from a recognised board will be eligibile to appear for the UGAT exam.
Q: Can I appear for UGAT more than once?
No, UGAT is conducted only once a year. Candidates have to wait for the next session if they miss this year's exam. The UGAT exam is conducted in the PBT (paper-based test) mode. Based on the UGAT scores, students can apply for admission to integrated management programme used for admission into various undergraduate programs offered by colleges and universities in India. The exam will only be conducted in the computer-based test mode for all the sessions across various cities.
