NPAT 2021O online proctored test

With the second wave of COVID-19 virus in the country, SVKM’s NMIMS has decided to conduct NPAT 2021 as an online proctored test for the safety of test-takers. Candidates completing the NPAT 2021 registration are permitted to appear for the NPAT exam to be conducted on June 27, July 2 and July 3. SVKM's NMIMS University has released examinee instructions, along with do's and don'ts of NPAT remote proctored assessment. Besides the instructions and guidelines, NMIMS is initiating Infrastructure Readiness Check (IRC) and Dry Run Check (DRC) process to familiarise candidates with the latest examination mode-online proctored test.

The NPAT exam 2021 will be conducted via a specific launcher, namely IBALauncher. Candidates will be made familiar with the launcher during the DRC process. Read this article on the NPAT online proctored test to know the features of the NPAT 2021 exam.

What is NPAT Remote Proctored Assessment?

The remote proctored assessment, or online proctored test, is identical to any computer-based exam without any invigilator physically available at the test location. Candidates can appear for the online proctored test from any location without visiting the test centre.

In the online proctored mode of exam, all the activities of the candidate are closely monitored using the web-cam and microphone. The invigilator or AI will monitor all the test-takers during the exam. Switching across tabs on the web browser are treated as unfair activity. At the time of the NMIMS NPAT 2021 exam, if the proctor doubts any unfair practices, the candidature will be disqualified immediately.
