NMIMS, Mumbai School Of Business Management Ranks Amongst The Top 100 Global B-Schools By Financial Times MiM Ranking 2022

September 12, 2022: Making its great debut at the first try, NMIMS Mumbai's School of Business Management (NMIMS - SBM) has been rated among the top 100 business schools worldwide in the Financial Times Masters in Management Ranking 2022.

One of the most prized accolades for business management schools worldwide is the FT MiM Ranking. The Financial Times Master in Management Ranking was first published in 2005 and adheres to a rigorous application process. While a school must have AACSB or Equis accreditation in order to participate in the rankings, there are other factors that are taken into account as well, such as the faculty's standing and other factors like the current average salary of the students, their professional and salary advancement, international mobility, and the number of female faculty and students in the school. To put it another way, a management school's standing in the Financial Times rating is an indicator of its calibre and reliability.

One significant factor in the ranking has been discovered as the career progression for NMIMS students. In the FT MiM rating, NMIMS, Mumbai School of Business Management, received a 52% on the question of ‘Salary percentage rise.’ It is calculated using the average income gap between graduates and current employees. This amount is divided in half, with half being determined by the relative percentage rise and the other half by the absolute increase.

About 14 of the top 100 global business schools reported having at least half a female faculty, according to the FT MiM Ranking. We are at the top of this ranking with 54%.
