GAT MBA 2025 Exam Dates: How to Choose GAT MBA Test Dates

GITAM Admission Test (GAT) 2025 registrations will commence online at gat.gitam.edu. Candidates interested in admission to BBA or MBA programme of GITAM Deemed to be University, must fill the online application form on or before the last date. The GAT application form can be filled in online mode only when released. GITAM will commence the GAT 2025 registrations online after the release of notification. Candidates must ensure to fulfill the prescribed eligbility criteria before filling the application form. To complete the GAT 2025 registrations candidates must ensure to pay the GITAM application fee of INR 1200. The application fee can be paid in online mode only.

GAT 2025 exam will be held in multiple sessions. Candidates who will register for the exam will be able to appear for the GAT exam. The examination for GITAM (Deemed to be University) UG and PG admissions will be held in computer based mode. Candidates will have to report at the alloted exam centre. GAT exam is codncuted for a duration of 60 minutes. As per the GAT exam pattern, the question paper consists of 200 multiple choice questions. Candidates had to choose a correct answer among the four options provided. There will be negative marking for wrong answers of 1/3 marks. Candidates wothout GAT admit card will not permitted to enter the GAT exam centre.  

The admit card for GAT will be released online at gitam.edu after the completion of the registration process. Only candidates who have completed the application form and made the payment will be able to download the GAT admit card. It is a mandatory document that must be carried on the day of the exam, without which candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam centre. To download the admit card, candidates must visit the link sent to their registered email address and enter their login credentials. They will be able to view their personal details, as well as the exam centre details, where they are required to report on the day of the examination. Candidates must verify the details mentioned on the GAT admit card. If there are any discrepancies, they should immediately contact the GITAM helpline with supporting documents to rectify the information.

GAT (GITAM Admission Test) is conducted multiple times a year, with different exam dates for different admission cycles. The exact GITAM GAT exam dates is announced for each session. GITAM GAT is a paper based test conducted at exam centres across India. The PG management candidates have to appear for Personal Interviews after the exam on January 19 and the GAT 2025 result for PG management candidates will be out on January 20. For all other candidates, PI will be held on March 30 and the result will be announced on March 31. Candidates who appear in the exam can download the result of GITAM GAT 2025 from the official website of the exam. The merit of a candidate is determined by the score secured in the exam. However, this is subject to the rule of reservation as per UGC guidelines/norms applicable to the university. Students who qualify for GITAM GAT 2025 are eligible for admissions only if they fulfil the requirement of minimum marks in the qualifying examination as per the eligibility criteria.

The schedule for GITAM GAT counselling will be available once the results are announced. The counselling is conducted by GITAM University and takes place online across 7 campuses in the state. The call letter for counselling is released online and shortlisted candidates must attend the counselling rounds with the necessary documents for verification. GAT 2025 admit card will be released online at gitam.edu. GAT admit card will be released soon after the registration process is completed. Only candidates who will fill the complete application form along with the payment of application fee will be able to download the GAT admit card. The GAT admit card is an important document that has to be carried on the day of the examination, without which candidates will not be permitted to enter the exam centre. To download the GAT 2025 admit card candidates must visit the link sent on registered email address. Candidates must then enter the login credentials to download the admit card. Screen will display the candidate's details and exam centre details where candidates have to report on the date of the examination. Candidates preparing for GAT exam must ensure to fulfill the below presscribed eligibility criteria before filling the application form. Candidates failing to meet the eligibility criteria will be disqualified.

For BBA

• The minimum educational requirement for candidates is to have completed Class 12 or an equivalent examination for BBA admissions.
• The examination should be recognisedby the relevant educational board or authority in the country.
• The candidate must have successfully passed this examination (GAT) or UGAT to be eligible to apply.

For MBA

• Candidate must have  a Bachelors degree with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. 
• Candidate must have completed the UG course in minimum three years duration.
• Students in the final year of graduation are eligible to apply for the programme

Candidates preparing to take the GAT (GITAM Admission Test) can effectively prepare within a six-month timeframe by following a well-structured study plan. Here's a breakdown of how to approach this preparation:

Months 1-2: Establish a Strong Foundation

• Begin by gaining a solid understanding of the GAT syllabus, referring to official sources.
• Collect essential study materials, including textbooks and online resources.

Months 3-4: In-Depth Study

• Dive deeper into each subject, covering topics comprehensively.
• Regularly practice solving questions and exercises to reinforce your understanding.

Month 5: Intensive Practice

• Solve past years' GAT question papers and sample papers to get a sense of the exam's pattern.
• Pay particular attention to time management during practice tests to enhance your speed and efficiency.

Month 6: Final Revision

• Review current affairs, general knowledge, and stay updated on business-related news.
• Maintain a calm and composed demeanor, avoiding last-minute cramming.

If you have forgotten your GAT login password, you can reset it by following these steps:

Step 1- Go to the GITAM GAT login page and click on the "Forgot Password" link.

Step 2- Enter your registered email address or mobile number. You will receive an OTP (One-Time Password) on your registered mobile number or email address.

Step 3- Enter the OTP and click on the "Submit" button.

Step 4- You will be redirected to a page where you can reset your password.

Step 5- Enter your new password and confirm it.

Step 6- Click on the "Submit" button to save your new password. Once you have reset your password, you can log in to your GAT account and download your admit card.

As per the GAT exam pattern there is no sectional time limit. GAT BBA question paper will consist of four sections, namely:

• English Language
• Quantitative Aptitude
• Reasoning and Intelligence
• General Knowledge

Candidates will be required to attempt all four sections within the given time duration. GAT exam is conducted for a duration of 60 minutes or one hour. GAT sections will consist of 100 questions in total. Candidates must device strategy to attempt maximum questions within the given time duration. 

The full form for GITAM GAT is GITAM Admission Test. It is an management entrance test conducted by Gandhian Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM) for admission to MBA/PGDM programe of GITAM School of Business. Candidates seeking admision to Post graduate programe of GITAM must appear for the exam. Candidates having valid score in national level management entrance exams like CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, etc. will be exemted from taking the GITAM GAT exam.
