As per the GAT exam pattern there is no sectional time limit. GAT BBA question paper will consist of four sections, namely:

• English Language
• Quantitative Aptitude
• Reasoning and Intelligence
• General Knowledge

Candidates will be required to attempt all four sections within the given time duration. GAT exam is conducted for a duration of 60 minutes or one hour. GAT sections will consist of 100 questions in total. Candidates must device strategy to attempt maximum questions within the given time duration. 

No, all the questions in the GAT question paper will be objective type questions and will be in MCQ format. Candidates will be given four options for each question. Candidates will have to select the correct option for each question. GAT question paper will consist of 200 Multiple Choice Questions. Each question will be for one mark. There will be a negative marking for any wrong answers. Candidates will have to attempt the 200 questions in 60 minutes. There will be no sectional time limit to attempt the GAT exam sections. GAT 2025 exam will be held mutiple times in a year in computer based mode across 27 cities in India.

As per the GITAM Management Admission Test (GAT) marking scheme, for every correct answer candidate will get one mark. There will be negative marking for wrong answers. For every wrong answer 1/3 of the mark will be deducted. There will be no negative marking for not attempted questions. As per the GAT 2025 exam pattern, the question paper will consist of 200 multiple choice questions (MCQs), of one mark each. There will be no sectional time limit. Candidates can start answering from any section they are comfortable with. The GAT BBA exam is conducted for a duration of 60 minutes.

Some of the important topics for GAT English Language section are: Verbal Reasoning, Sentence completion, Fill In the Blanks, One word substitution, Contextual usage, Syllogisms, Sentence correction, Idioms, Analogies, Different usage of same word, Jumbled paragraphs, Foreign language words used in English.

Candidates preparing for the GAT English language section must ensure to solve ample of mock tests to become familiar with the type of questions asked in this section.

Some of the important topics for GAT Reasoning and Intelligence section are: 

• Coding & Decoding- Decrypting codes or patterns to reveal the original message.
• Visual reasoning- Solving problems based on visual cues and images.
• Critical Reasoning: Assessing your ability to evaluate arguments and make judgments. Topics may include:
• Statement and assumptions: Identifying underlying assumptions in statements.
• Cause and effect: Determining causal relationships between events.
• Statement and inference: Drawing logical inferences from given information.
• Directions: Navigational problems involving directions (north, south, east, west).
• Blood relations: Solving problems related to family relationships.

Some of the important topics for GAT Numerical and Data Analysis section are:

• Geometry- Concepts related to lines, angles, triangles, polygons, circles, and basic geometric theorems.
• Number system- Understanding of number properties, prime numbers, factors, multiples, and divisibility rules.
• Algebra- Elementary algebra, including equations, inequalities, and quadratic equations.
• Statistics and Probability: Basic concepts of statistics, including mean, median, mode, standard deviation, and probability concepts like permutations and combinations.
• Arithmetic: Basic arithmetic operations, fractions, decimals, percentages, ratios, and proportions.

GAT 2025 exam will be held in multiple sessions. Candidates who will register for the exam will be able to appear for the GAT exam. The examination for GITAM (Deemed to be University) UG and PG admissions will be held in computer based mode. Candidates will have to report at the alloted exam centre. GAT exam is codncuted for a duration of 60 minutes. As per the GAT exam pattern, the question paper consists of 200 multiple choice questions. Candidates had to choose a correct answer among the four options provided. There will be negative marking for wrong answers of 1/3 marks. Candidates wothout GAT admit card will not permitted to enter the GAT exam centre.  

Candidates preparing for GAT exam must ensure to fulfill the below presscribed eligibility criteria before filling the application form. Candidates failing to meet the eligibility criteria will be disqualified.

For BBA

• The minimum educational requirement for candidates is to have completed Class 12 or an equivalent examination for BBA admissions.
• The examination should be recognisedby the relevant educational board or authority in the country.
• The candidate must have successfully passed this examination (GAT) or UGAT to be eligible to apply.

For MBA

• Candidate must have  a Bachelors degree with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. 
• Candidate must have completed the UG course in minimum three years duration.
• Students in the final year of graduation are eligible to apply for the programme

GAT (GITAM Admission Test) is conducted multiple times a year, with different exam dates for different admission cycles. The exact GITAM GAT exam dates is announced for each session. GITAM GAT is a paper based test conducted at exam centres across India. GITAM Admission Test (GAT) 2025 registrations will commence online at gat.gitam.edu. Candidates interested in admission to BBA or MBA programme of GITAM Deemed to be University, must fill the online application form on or before the last date. The GAT application form can be filled in online mode only when released. GITAM will commence the GAT 2025 registrations online after the release of notification. Candidates must ensure to fulfill the prescribed eligbility criteria before filling the application form. To complete the GAT 2025 registrations candidates must ensure to pay the GITAM application fee of INR 1200. The application fee can be paid in online mode only.
