NMIMS NPAT 2025 Exam Pattern: SVKM's NMIMS prescribes the exam pattern for NPAT every year. The varsity is conducting NPAT as a computer-based test from the test centres. In the previous exam session, NPAT was conducted within a testing window of 148 days. Candidates had the option to retake the exam twice after the main attempt. Q: What are the type of questions in NPAT exam?
NPAT exam comprises multiple choice questions. Candidates appearing for the NPAT exam will find questions from three sections, namely Logical Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning, and Quantitative Reasoning. All three sections have Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), also known as objective type questions. Candidates will find four answer options for each question. Out of these answer options one option will be correct. Candidates marking the correct answer option will fetch (+)1 mark. However, no negative marking will prevail for an incorrect response.
Q: Is there GK included in the syllabus of BBA in NPAT?
In the previous sessions of NMIMS NPAT exam, there was a section for General Knowledge. Candidates had toi answer questions from static GK as well as current affairs. However, SVKMs NMIMS do not have questions from GK section after 2020 exam session. The three core sections of NPAT exam are
- Verbal Reasoning: This section includes questions to test English Proficiency of the candidate.
- Logical Reasoning: This section includes questions to measure the ability or aptitude to reason logically.
- Quantitative Reasoning: This section includes questions to gauge the basic mathematical skills of the candidate.

SVKMs NMIMS conducts the NPAT exam with as many as three sections. NMIMS NPAT exam is a gateway for admission to Bachelor courses from the following streams:

The NPAT exam syllabus for all the streams mentioned above is identical. SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) hosts the NPAT exam every year for admission to UG courses. Candidates who have passed or will be passing Class 12 are eligible to appear for the NPAT exam. NPAT exam is conducted for admission to BA, BBA, BCom, and BSc courses offered by different campuses of NMIMS. Candidates are selected for admission based on NPAT exam scores. No additional selection round will be conducted for NMIMS BBA admissions.

Quantitative Reasoning, also known as Quantitative Ability (QA), includes the questions to test candidate's Mathematical Skills.
