SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) hosts the NPAT exam every year for admission to UG courses. Candidates who have passed or will be passing Class 12 are eligible to appear for the NPAT exam. NPAT exam is conducted for admission to BA, BBA, BCom, and BSc courses offered by different campuses of NMIMS. Candidates are selected for admission based on NPAT exam scores. No additional selection round will be conducted for NMIMS BBA admissions.

SVKMs NMIMS has been conducting NPAT exam for UG courses, including BBA admissions. NPAT full form termed by NMIMS is National Test for Programs After Twelfth. NPAT exam is accepted by NMIMS campuses for admission ot courses after Class 12. Candidates who completed Class 12 or equivalent exam from CBSE/ICSE or any International Baccalaureate (IB) board are eligible to apply for NPAT exam. Those who did not pass the qualifying exam in the first attempt are not eligible to appear for the NPAT exam.

The NMIMS NPAT exam has a duration of 100-minute. Candidates need to answer 120 MCQs spread across three sections, namely English proficiency, Reasoning ability, and Quantitative & Numerical Ability. There is no sectional time limit, but candidates are not allowed to switch between sections. The English and reasoning questions maintain an easy to moderate difficulty level. Yes. Maths is not a mandatory eligibility condition to appear for NPAT exam. SVKMs NMIMS conducts NPAT exam for admission to eight different courses offered by different campuses. Candidates must meet the NPAT eligibility criteria for specified courses to get admission. SVKMs NMIMS will reject the candidature in a test taker do not satisfy the eligibility conditions, irrespective of his/her NPAT scores.

As many as six b-schools participate in the NPAT examination process. These b-schools offer more than one course for admission. Candidates aspiring for admission can apply for all participating colleges and all courses based on the eligibility and NPAT scores. The table below mentions the NPAT registration fee:

Yes, however, most of the topics included in the NPAT syllabus comprises topics that candidates have studied until their Class 12 level education. No, SVKMs NMIMS does not send the NPAT scorecards by post to any of the test takers. The scorecard of NPAT exam has to be downloaded online from the official website of NMIMS NPAT. Candidates can get the direct link to check the NPAT results on the official website or on shiksha's NPAT result page. Along with the results, NMIMS releases the NPAT admission offer. Candidates must take printout of the admission offer and preserve the same until the admission process is complete.

SVKMs NMIMS does not share the NPAT scorecard with the candidate via email or post. Candidates can only visit the official login dashboard to check the results, download the scorecard and admission offer.

Candidates checking the NMIMS NPAT results have to visit the login portal to check the same.
