Q: Can we change marks in WBCHSE Marksheet?
In case you feel that you should have been awarded higher marks in a subject, you can apply for revaluation or rechecking of the paper. The marks awarded after the rechecking/revaluation shall be considered the final marks and a new marksheet will be issued to you thereafter.
Q: Congratulations on your result! How was your reaction after seeing the results?
A: I was incredibly happy on seeing the result. While I had hoped for a good result, actually seeing it in real life was very exciting for me.
Q: Did you score what you expected?
A: I did not really have a very well defined expectation. I was really confident about mathematics and physics, so I am really satisfied that they lived up to my expectations.
Q: Please tell us something about your family background.
A: My mother and father both originally studied science but now they are both in the administrative field. My father is an Additional Commissioner at the State Tax Department and my mother is Finance Controller and Special Secretary at Vidhan Sabha.

Q: Please tell about the stream that you are targeting.
A: I intended to take the science stream as I enjoy the subjects, particularly the practical aspect of the subjects
Q: What was your strategy to score above 95%?
A: At that time, strategy was not exactly the word I would have used. I was kind of nervous, even after giving two preboard examinations in school, so I stuck to the familiar. I would stick to my schedule of 3 hours in the evening and 3 hours in the morning on days I did not have to go for one of the examination. Obviously, there were many times when I deviated from it but all the same it still helped me not to stretch it out too far.
Q: Did you take any online or offline coaching?
A: No, I did not take any online or offline coaching.
Q: Who encouraged you the most in this journey?
A: My parents played a big role in encouraging me but most of it came from my elder sister. She remembers what it is like to give the first board examinations better than them and was therefore in a better position to encourage me and understand my difficulties.
Q: What was your routine during ICSE board exam preparation?
A: I had a fixed schedule for studying as mentioned earlier. I took short breaks when it got too tedious, I would go on walks with my father, talk to my friends and very predictably, use the internet whenever I got exhausted with the constant studying. I believe those things were just as important, especially having a proper sleep schedule. It never helps to reach the examination hall half tired.
Q: What are your future plans? Which career path are you aiming for?
A: I am aiming to take the science stream, specifically PCM. I am still figuring out what I would like to do beyond 12th but the balance hangs somewhere between B.Tech and B.Sc, tipping a little more towards B.Tech, I suppose. As for career options, I still remain undecided on what exactly I wish to choose.
Q: What is your favorite subject?
A: My favourite subject for now is Computers, especially since a major part of it involves programming. It is satisfying to figure out the logic behind the questions and create a program for it.
Q: Are you planning to begin preparing for any entrance exam?
A: I am planning to begin preparing for JEE but first I wish to explore the subjects a little more and become familiar with it.
Q: What is your dream college/institute?
Very predictably and like many other people, I must say IIT.
Q: What are your future goals?
A: Talking about short-term goals, I am determined to teach myself how to interact more easily without having to convince myself that I can do a little speaking. I also want to develop my sports skills this year.
Q: Please share some tips for students prepping up to appear in ICSE Board Exams 2025
A: I would advise you all to go with the strategy that works best for you. Not everything that works for others will work for you. Do not neglect essential aspects of your lives, especially the ones that bring you joy. Work hard but do not lose your spark in the process.
