Section 1: Verbal Ability: This section tests the candidate's English language skills. It consists of 40 MCQs. The section tests the candidate's understanding of topics such as Grammar, Vocabulary, Reading Comprehension, etc.
Section 2: Quantitative Aptitude: This section tests the candidate's quantitative skills. It consists of 40 MCQs too. The section tests the candidate's knowledge of topics such as Arithmetic, Algebra Geometry, Trigonometry etc.
Section 3: Logical Reasoning: This section tests the candidate's critical reasoning and logical aptitude. This section too, like the previous section, includes 40 MCQs and important topics under this section are Blood Relations, Visual Puzzles, Syllogisms, Arguments, etc.

This means, if the candidate has got ten correct answers, then, he/she will be awarded 40 marks in the total score. IPMAT Rohtak Eligibility Criteria 2025
Applicants must fulfil the IPMAT Rohtak eligibility criteria 2025 given below in order to appear for the IPMAT Rohtak 2025:
- Candidate must have scored a minimum of 60% aggregate in Class 10 and Class 12 or equivalent CGPA.
- Applicants belonging to SC, ST or PwD categories have a relaxation of 5 per cent, i.e. they must have secured at least 55 per cent aggregate in Class 10 and Class 12 or equivalent.
- Candidates appearing for Class 12 exams or equivalent by June 2025 are also eligible to apply provisionally.
- Candidates must be a maximum of 20 years of age as on July 31, 2025.

How to Fill the IPMAT Rohtak Application Form 2025?
Q: Is there negative marking in the IPM Rohtak entrance exam?
Yes, the IPM AT exam has negative markings. Each question in the IPM Aptitude Test carries four marks. And for every incorrect answer, one mark is deducted. This means that if the candidate has five correct answers then 20 marks will be added to the IPM AT overall score. If the candidate marks more than one answer for a particular question, the answer will be considered incorrect. To avoid maximum marks deduction, candidates must attempt the easier question first and then move on to the more difficult ones in that particular section. If the candidate is unsure about a particular question, they can also skip the question. No marks will be deducted or awarded for unanswered questions.

IPM AT has a total of 120 questions. Each section carries 40 questions. For each correct attempt, four marks are awarded and one mark is deducted for an incorrect attempt. The IPM Aptitude Test exam is conducted for two hours or 120 minutes. The exam is conducted every year in the computer-based test mode. There are three sections in the IPMAT question paper, i. e. Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and Verbal Ability. Each section is to be solved within 40 minutes. Since IPM Aptitude Test is a centre-based online exam the test screen will move from first section to the next section automatically as soon as the time limit gets over. Thus candidates have to be mindful of the on-screen timer and pre-decide the number of questions to solve in each section. It is not mandatory to solve all the questions in IPM AT exam so candidates can devise a strategy to use 40 minutes per section as per their strength and weakness.
