EMAT 2025 Exam: Registration (Ongoing), Eligibility, Exam Dates, Syllabus, Results

EMAT 2025 registrations has commenced online. Candidates can fill the EMAT 2025 application form in online and offline modes. The registration link is activated on the official website of IIM Kozhikode. Candidates willing to appear for EMAT exam must fill the online application form on or before the last date. EMAT 2025 registration process will be conducted in four phases. The first phase commenced on June 25, 2024, second phase commenced on August 24, 2024, and third phase started on October 26, 2024. The complete schedule for EMAT 2025 has been released by IIM Kochi.

Executive Management Aptitude Test (EMAT) is conducted by IIM Kozhikode for admission to Executive PGP of IIM Kochi. EMAT is coducted four times in a year. Candidates can appear for the EMAT exam as per their preference. EMAT 2025 exam dates has been announced. The exam will be conducted in offline mode. EMAT 2025 notification has been released in last week of June 2024. Candidates seeking admission to Executive Masters in Business Administration programme must stay updated with the exam dates. EMAT 2025 notification mentions the important dates pertaining to application form, EMAT exam, results and Personal Interviews. The EMAT notification also mentions the admission process and eligibility criteria for admission to EMBA programme of IIM Kochi. The EMAT 2025 exam will be conducted in four phases. Candidates can know the important dates for each phase on release of the EMAT 2025 notification. Candidates will be able to register for the exam soon after the notification is released. 

EMAT 2025 application form link has been activated at the iimk.ac.in. on official website. Aspirants must visit the official website- iimk.ac.in to register for EMAT 2025 and submit the application form before the deadline. The EMAT 2025 application process includes filling of personal details, experience, uploading of relevant academic documents and payment of fees, without which the application will not be submitted. There will be several sections in EMAT 2025 application form- personal details, academic details, work experience, programmes, exam centre preference and fee payment.

In personal details section, the candidates will have to enter details such as name, date of birth, father's name, category, gender, nationality, communication address, email ID, mobile phone number, etc. 

In academic details section of the form, candidates must enter class 10th and 12th exam scores, Bachelor's degree details and marksheet and details of other postgraduate programme/professional courses (if any).

In Work Experience section, candidates must fill relevant work-experience if any, they need to fill in details such as name of the company, duration, etc.

At last, candidates must pay the EMAT application fee. The application fee can be paid in online mode only.

To appear for EMAT exam, candidates must ensure to fulfill the below prescribed EMAT eligibility criteria before filling the application form:

• A Bachelor's Degree (as per the latest UGC Norms) or its equivalent in any discipline with a minimum 50% aggregate mark or equivalent CGPA.
• In the case of an absence of a dulyrecognisedbachelor's degree, candidate with a minimum aggregate percentage of 50 in CA/ICWA/CS can apply for the programme.
• The degree obtained from a foreign University subject to producing the equivalency certificate from AIU (Association of Indian Universities) or any Govt. of India approved assessment agency, or an Indian University approved by UGC along with the proof of aggregate percentage of marks obtained in the programme completed.
• Three Years of managerial/ entrepreneurial/ professional experience after successful completion of graduation as on the date of application.

IIM Kozhikode conducts EMAT in offline mode. Candidates preparing for the EMAT exam must keep the certificates, application form and other documents ready to appear for the interview round. IIM Kozhikode will conduct EMAT and personal interview rounds on given date and time.

To fill the EMAT 2025 application form, candidates must keep the following documents/information ready:

• Scanned color photograph of the candidate
• Scanned self-attested copies of the following academic records (Class 10 onwards):

 i) Class 10 /SSLC Certificate

 ii) Pre-Degree/Plus-Two/HSC/VHSC mark sheet & certificate

 iii) All mark sheets & certificate of GraduationorProfessional Qualification, as applicable,

 iv) All mark sheets & certificate of Post-Graduation (If applicable)

• Score Sheets of CAT / GMAT, (if opted)
• Work Experience Certificate (s) for the last 3 years
• Photo Identity proof (Passport/Driving License/PAN Card/AADHAR Card)
• Gazette Notification in case there is a change in Name
• Employee ID card, if available
• Category/Relaxation certificate from the competent authority (if opted)

Executive Management Aptitude Test (EMAT) is conducted by Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode for admission to Executive Management of Business Administration (EMBA). The examination is a in computer based mode, wherein candidates will have to report at the designated exam centre. EMAT exam is conducted for a duration of 60 minutes. Candidates must attempt 30 questions within the given time duration. No provision for extra time is applicable for students appearing for EMAT. The EMATquestion paper will be divided in three sections viz., Quantitative Aptitude & Numerical Ability,  Reasoning and General Intelligence, and General Management. EMAT exam is conducted in four phases in a year. Candidates can apply for the next session if not applied. However candidates are advised to stay updated with the EMAT application form last date for each phase. EMAT registration 2025 has commenced. EMAT application fee can be paid in online mode only. Candidates filling the application form in online or offline mode will have to pay the EMAT application form online. No other mode for payment of EMAT application fee is accepted. Candidates can make the online EMAT application fee payment of INR 2000 (plus taxes as applicable). To pay the fee candidates can choose any of the following modes:

1)    Credit/Debit Card (Visa, Master, Maestro, RuPay)

2)    Internet Banking (Bank transaction charges for online payment will have to be borne by the candidate)

EMAT 2025 application form has been released. Candidates willing to appear for Entrance exam can fill the EMAT application form in both online and offline modes. To fill the EMAT 2025 registration form in offline mode, refer the steps mentioned below:

Once the EMAT 2025 registration form is submitted, candidates will not be allowed to make changes in it. In case, you've made errors, you need to fill a fresh EMAT application form and pay the fees again. There is no provision for editing details in the application form after the EMAT registration process concludes. No request for changes in the EMAT application form will be accepted by the examination authorities. Thus, it is very important to fill the EMAT application form correctly with valid details. Yes, the syllabus for EMAT and CAT is same. Candidates preparing for CAT will require only revision during the EMAT exam. As per EMAT exam pattern, the question paper is divided into following sections viz., logical reasoning, numerical & data interpretation and verbal skills. Similarly, CAT question paper is divided into the following sections  viz., Verbal ability and reading comprehension, data interpretation and logical reasoning and quantitative aptitude. CAT has sectional time limit whereas, EMAT does not have sectcional time limit. Candidates can switch between sections as per their preference. No, there is no negative marking for any wrong answer or not attenpted question in EMAT exam. As per the Executive Management Aptitude Test (EMAT) marking scheme for every correct answer candidate will get one mark and for no marks will be deducted for any wrong answers like other management entrance tests- CAT. There will be no negative marking for unattempted questions. As per the EMAT exam pattern, the question paper will consist of 60 Multiple Choice Questions, of one mark each. There will be no sectional time limit. Candidates can start answering from any section they are comfortable with. The EMAT exam is conducted for a duration of one hour.

No, EMAT exam does not have sectional time limit to appear for the exam. However, students will be required to complete the exam in pre informed exam duration i.e, two hours and no extra time will be granted to the students under any circumstances. EMAT is a computer-based online exam the test screen will move from first section to the next section only when the candidate clicks the next button. Candidates have to be mindful of the on-screen timer and pre-decide the number of questions to solve in each section as there will be negative markings. It is not mandatory to solve all the questions in EMAT exam so candidates can devise a strategy to use the exam duration as per their strength and weakness. To prepare for the Executive Management Aptitude Test (EMAT) conducted by IIM Kozhikode, candidates must start preparing for the exam 6-8 months prior to the exam date. To appear for the EMAT mock test, candidates must follow the steps mentioned below:

• The section-wise test series will now appear on the screen.

• Choose the desired section based on your preference.

• Once a section is selected, the questions will be displayed.

• Answer the questions.

• After completing the questions, you can check your responses by clicking on the 'Answer' tab.

EMAT 2025 exam will be conducted in multiple phases during a year. Candidates who will appear for the EMAT 2025 will be able to check their scores online. The EMAT results 2025 for each phase will be announced soon after the exam and personal interview is conducted. The results are usually announced within the 7-10 days from the date of conduct of exam. Candidates will be issued the offer letter to join the programme on their registered email address or mobile number. On the basis of the candidadte's performance in EMAT and personal interview, offer will be issued. 

EMAT applicants chosen for admission to the EPGP programme of IIM Kozhikode will receive notification via email. Upon receiving the admisison offer letter, participants are required to acknowledge it and submit the designated fee online as a confirmation of acceptance. They will be instructed to make payments for the first installment fee, caution deposit, etc., by the specified deadlines or as communicated in the offer letter. A formal induction programme and orientation session will be conducted. Completion of all these steps is mandatory for both admission and the ongoing participation in the program.

EMAT results 2025 will be announced in multiple phases. Candidates will be able to download the EMAT scorecard for the phase they will appear for. Only candidates who will appear for EMAT will be able to download the offer letter when released.  To download the EMAT scorecard candidates can visit the official webiste of IIM Kozhikode or open the link sent on the registered mobile number. Candidates must take the print of the EMAT scorecard when released. No physical copies of the scorecard will be issued to the candidates seperately.

Candidates will not be issued physical copy of the EMAT 2025 socrecard. On declaration of EMAT results candidates must login at the official website of Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode- (iimk.ac.in) or check SMS on registered mobile number to download and take the print of the EMAT 2025 socrecard immediately. Candidates must ensure to check the details mentioned on the scorecard. The following details that will be mentioned on the EMAT scorecard:
