Executive Management Aptitude Test (EMAT) is conducted by IIM Kozhikode for admission to Executive PGP of IIM Kochi. EMAT is coducted four times in a year. Candidates can appear for the EMAT exam as per their preference. EMAT 2025 exam dates has been announced. The exam will be conducted in offline mode. EMAT 2025 application form link has been activated at the iimk.ac.in. on official website. Aspirants must visit the official website- iimk.ac.in to register for EMAT 2025 and submit the application form before the deadline. The EMAT 2025 application process includes filling of personal details, experience, uploading of relevant academic documents and payment of fees, without which the application will not be submitted. There will be several sections in EMAT 2025 application form- personal details, academic details, work experience, programmes, exam centre preference and fee payment.

In personal details section, the candidates will have to enter details such as name, date of birth, father's name, category, gender, nationality, communication address, email ID, mobile phone number, etc. 

In academic details section of the form, candidates must enter class 10th and 12th exam scores, Bachelor's degree details and marksheet and details of other postgraduate programme/professional courses (if any).

In Work Experience section, candidates must fill relevant work-experience if any, they need to fill in details such as name of the company, duration, etc.

At last, candidates must pay the EMAT application fee. The application fee can be paid in online mode only.

EMAT 2025 notification has been released in last week of June 2024. Candidates seeking admission to Executive Masters in Business Administration programme must stay updated with the exam dates. EMAT 2025 notification mentions the important dates pertaining to application form, EMAT exam, results and Personal Interviews. The EMAT notification also mentions the admission process and eligibility criteria for admission to EMBA programme of IIM Kochi. The EMAT 2025 exam will be conducted in four phases. Candidates can know the important dates for each phase on release of the EMAT 2025 notification. Candidates will be able to register for the exam soon after the notification is released. 

No, EMAT exam does not have sectional time limit to appear for the exam. However, students will be required to complete the exam in pre informed exam duration i.e, two hours and no extra time will be granted to the students under any circumstances. EMAT is a computer-based online exam the test screen will move from first section to the next section only when the candidate clicks the next button. Candidates have to be mindful of the on-screen timer and pre-decide the number of questions to solve in each section as there will be negative markings. It is not mandatory to solve all the questions in EMAT exam so candidates can devise a strategy to use the exam duration as per their strength and weakness. Candidates must reach the exam centre at least an hour prior to complete the frisking formalities at the EMAT exam centre.

Executive Management Aptitude Test (EMAT) is conducted by Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode for admission to Executive Management of Business Administration (EMBA). The examination is a in computer based mode, wherein candidates will have to report at the designated exam centre. EMAT exam is conducted for a duration of 60 minutes. Candidates must attempt 30 questions within the given time duration. No provision for extra time is applicable for students appearing for EMAT. No, IIM Kozhikode does not releases the EMAT answer key after the exam is conducted. Soon after the EMAT 2025 exam is conducted, authorities will release EMAT 2025 offer letters. Candidates will be able to download the EMAT offer letter from the registered email ID. Only candidates who will appear for the exam will be able to check their scorecards online. EMAT result is released in the form of offer letter. Candidates will be able to check their name and roll number if shortlisted. EMAT 2025 will be held in four phases. The results for EMAT for each phase will be announced soon after the exam is conducted. 

Yes, the syllabus for EMAT and CAT is same. Candidates preparing for CAT will require only revision during the EMAT exam. As per EMAT exam pattern, the question paper is divided into following sections viz., logical reasoning, numerical & data interpretation and verbal skills. Similarly, CAT question paper is divided into the following sections  viz., Verbal ability and reading comprehension, data interpretation and logical reasoning and quantitative aptitude. CAT has sectional time limit whereas, EMAT does not have sectcional time limit. Candidates can switch between sections as per their preference. The number of questions vary in both the exams however the difficulty level of both exams is moderate.

EMAT admit card for the applied phase will be sent to the candidates on their registered email ID. Only candidates who will register successfully for the EMAT exam will be able to download the EMAT admit card when released.
