Don't expect good placement in MCA from college, it is available only for B.Tech students.

Placements: Nobody in the class is satisfied with the placements except 3-4 students who got placed in TCS. TCS never visits our college. Students were placed in TCS through the national qualifier exam. No good MNC like Infosys, Wipro or TCS visits our campus for MCA. Almost 97% of the companies that visit are startups. They fire the students after completion of their training, and most of the companies have 2-3 years of bond. Even two of my friends were fired by the company. Around 15 of my classmates are ...

Dissatisfied with the faculty.

Placements: Placements in our college are good as a student in our college has more than one call letter, so he/she can choose either the one. Lots of companies visit the campus to hire the students, but most of them returned empty-handed. The average salary package offered was in between 2.5 LPA to 3 LPA.

I am dissatisfied because of faculty members.

Placements: Placements for computer science branch are better compared to other branches. More than 60% of the students got placed last year, and the rest of them either opted for higher studies or went for off-campus placements. Placements are getting better with the upcoming years. The average salary package offered is 3 LPA. The highest salary package offered ranges from 5 to 6 LPA.

Overall college experience was not what was thought to be.

Placements: Though it is clear that placement ratio is decreased as number of graduates passing out every year is increasing at high rates, still case should't be that most of the companies that are imvited for placements are BPOs. Being from Mechanical background, the number of companies that came for placements for our background were nowhere near what was told to us. Only a bunch of good companies were invited and most of these were for pool campus placements. Still, it was not totally a waste. If we see...

Good placements though bad facilities in hostel.

Placements: Placements are very good in all the branches, including mass recruiters with 120 job holders and others as well. Almost 70% of students were placed and rest are preparing for higher education as well. Companies offer the highest 7-8 Lacs p. a. to 2-3 Lacs p. AAT minimum. Some of the companies are CapGemini, TechMahindra, Josh Technologies, alpha greens and many more. Details of companies visited in the campus is given the college website as well. Students are got chosen on the basis if their ski...

A nice college for the students pursuing B.tech in CS or IT branches.

Placements: The placements are good for the students of branches like computer science, information technology, and electronics engineering and below average for the core branches like electrical, mechanical and civil engineering. Some multi-national companies for MBA recruitment also hire engineering students from core branches on the basis of interview, skills and academic performances.

Good infrastructure but everything else is average.

Placements: The placement is average in this college. Last year, the maximum package was around 3.5 lacs. There is some news that one of the students received a package of 27.5 lacs, but it was not from our college. It was from the off-campus recruitment. They got the package because of their hard work.

Don't choose B.Tech, if you want to live your life.

Placements: The placements are more for the CS and IT students. There are no core companies came for placement. Every other branch student, be it mechanical, electrical, or an electronics student was entering into an IT company. The college could not meet our expectations. The TCS mostly did the placements.

College has some good infrastructure whereas it lacked in pedagogy and exposure

Placements: Companies like Tech Mahindra and TCS visit our campus on a regular basis providing final placements as well as summer training programmes to the students with an average salary of 3 lakhs per annum for the final placements and about 4-5,000 per month for the summer training programmes. The computer science and IT batches recorded 100% placements last year whereas the students from other streams found it difficult to get a campus placement. The average salary provided to our students was around 3...

Overrated college and poor academics

Placements: I would rate placements in ABES as above average. Their main aim is to maximize the number of placements and they don't care about the quality of the package. Only 2-3 companies visited our college which gave an offer above 6 LPA. Some companies have not confirmed the joining till now which means students who were placed in September 2016 are expected to join in 2018. All the students who were serious about placements get jobs easily, but what is the benefit of getting placed if you don't get to...

Only take admission when you have money and want to sit in AC classrooms.

Placements: Only a few companies visit and the maximum [package offered is 3.2 lakhs per annum. These companies are only for CS/IT branch. Other than these branches,(CS/IT/EC) no other branch students are placed. TCS, Infosys, Shopra, etc. are the companies that visit for placement and these are software based-companies. For core branches like mechanical and electrical, no core companies visit for recruitment. For these branches, only sales related posts are offered.

About ABES Engineering College Ghaziabad and whether it is good or bad for the future.

Placements: As far as the mechanical branch is considered, the placement is very poor. Companies which visit the college campus are very less and the placement cell is not so good. The percentage of placements in ME is at less than 10%.

A good college with decent education and decent placement.

Placements: Placements in our college are decent but not up to the mark. There is a lack of quality education as we are not allowed to get our hands on anything more than any educational curriculum. The highest package offered this time was 18 lacs to a student of mechanical engineering. Companies like TATA, Mahindra, Samsung, etc. visit our campus.

The real story of ABES Engineering College.

Placements: Placements are average. In CS and IT branches, nearly 80% of our seniors got placements. But a high package is not expected. Most of us go to TCS and Tech Mahindra which offer just 2-3 lakhs package. But there are a few seniors who got packages up to 15 lakhs off-campus. The lowest salary is 1.8 lakhs and the highest is 15 lakhs. TCS has recently blacklisted our college and will not come. Instead of TCS, now the mass recruiter is now Tech Mahindra. Most of us are going to do the internship this ...

Placements: The placements of my batch can be termed as good. Approximately 70-75% students of the 2017 batch are placed. The highest salary offered for our batch is 7 lakhs per annum and the lowest is 1.5 lakhs per annum. The placement process is still on. Capgemini, HCL, Tech Mahindra, QA Infotech and many more established as well as start-up companies visited our campus. All kind of roles ranging from technical to managerial as well as non-technical were offered by the companies. ...

This college is a leading college of UP. Management has a clear vision of focus on innovation. But need to improve the quality of education. The college is doing well in the field of research and development. Many innovative projects had been done so far. Students have also written a few international research books. Interaction between teachers and students were smooth and faculty members were ready to help but, lacked knowledge.

A good college with focus on discipline. If you think this college has an NCR crowd then you are wrong. This college has a typical East UP crowd. In this college you can feel a school life. If you want to study then come to ABESEC and if you want some internal marks than please go to another college.

Decent college I would say, management is really poor though not at all student friendly. No promotional activity is done by the institute and faculty support is decent only. College also has an Auditorium for each and every event occurring in the campus. The college also organizes an annual fest and is an active participant in the fest of other college as well .You are on your own and you can learn whatever you want. I can see some of the Alumni of ABES EC, CSE department in Google, Amazon, Cit...
