Review of Academy of Aviation and Engineering, Sha- Shib Group of Institutions.
Placements: Our batch took admission in 2017, and our course will be completed by 2019. From our batch, almost 85% of the students got placed in various airlines like Indigo, etc. The lowest salary offered after training will be almost Rs. 20,000 per month and the highest salary offered will be like 1-2 lacs per month after being an AME. Companies like Quest Global, Air India, Tata and Textron are the major recruiters for our college. They offer a salary of Rs. 20,000-30,000 per month.
Infrastructure: Our college has a vast library which has all kinds of core books, and reference books and all other magazines related to our course. Classrooms are well-equipped and supported by new innovative technologies. There are well-equipped labs with all important instruments and a hangar which consists of a Learjet and a Navion aircraft. The quality of the hostel is moderate or quite fine. The food served in the hostel has nice quality, and they provide nutritious food which is essential for students. In our college, all kinds of sports like cricket, basketball, etc., are conducted every year.
Faculty: Our teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable. Most of them are air force retired teachers or aeronautical engineers. So the quality of education provided here is totally excellent. In our college, the course curriculum is relevant. Now they are conducting courses based on the new rule imposed by DGCA, i.e., CAR 147. So it helps students in all the ways.
Other: It was my ambition to be a part of the aviation industry from the beginning. Soon I came to know about a field which makes better persons in aviation is AME. So, I got impressed by it initially only, so I joined. I suggest only one that our college should improve sports and games facilities.
