A college which focuses primarily on academics, and a good choice in Palakkad District.
Placements: The chance of getting placements in the core field by studying in private colleges has become very less. The same issue applies to my college also. It is a private engineering college, and the placement records are not good here. The students have to find jobs on their own. However, the college has been trying to improve this condition by conducting mock interviews.
Infrastructure: Ammini College of Engineering is located on a 13-acre rural campus. It is at a distance of 17 KM from Palakkad District, Kerala. The college has three blocks, electrical engineering block, mechanical engineering block, and the main block. The lab facility is good, and the college has an excellent library. The quality of food available in the college canteen is very good. The hostel provides accommodation to 300 students. No, I didn't face any infrastructure related issues.
Faculty: The teachers are very supportive, and they have enough subject knowledge, and they are very experienced. The college gives primary importance to academics. The faculty doesn't compromise on the quality of teaching. The teachers have a master's degree in engineering. Sadly, there is only little industrial exposure for the students. The course curriculum is knowledge-oriented.
Other: The college life is very much enjoyable. Students can spend a memorable four years of their life here. There will be an Onam celebration and arts festival, which happens every year in our college. The campus provides scholarship schemes for eligible students. A national service scheme unit is active in our college, which conducts activities to produce socially responsible professional students.

Dissatisfied by the facilities but satisfied with faculty members.
Placements: Placements has been very low but the results of the college is high since the college is started on 2010 it has some limitations. College is improving year by year. Placement cell is active in the college. A mock interview will be conducted to boost the confidence of the students at the end of the 3 Rd year.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure has been good. Wi-Fi is not available in the college. Labs and classroom are okay. Medical facilities is poor during my tenure. It has been increased a lot. About the food in canteen is trustworthy and tasty. Very good food in the hostel is well.
Faculty: Faculty members are the base of the college. Ammini college of engineering have core team of faculty members who will help you to gain success. Teachers will help you to overcome the toughest subjects and fear during the exam. There will be special coaching classes to improve the knowledge in weak subjects.

Satisfied with faculty, dissatisfied with placement.
Placements: Placements are too low in this college, they've done a job pool with job fair website, but was not in mechanical stream. But they train well for aptitude and all, yet not good in placement. I haven't got at least a single interview opportunity via this college, for my mechanical core stream. Call centers, Airtel tower erecting, AM motors etc. Were the companies. And the salary was low. Internship wasn't arranged by college. But if students funds something themselves, they'll promote it.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are good, bit high temperature is the climate and that's the only issue. So in summer time, it'll be horrible experience, but the building are good. They advertise about Wi-Fi, but I didn't got an opportunity to get connected to it in that 4 years. Library is good, have almost all the books required and additionally journals are there, magazines, reference books etc. Labs are having all the facilities. Canteen quality is not good, not hygienic, only pre-set menu and we've to take token on specified time before lunch time to get it.
Faculty: These are good, good faculty members, good teaching methods, online tests, etc. Where there. They completes the portion on time and might find time for revice, answer old question papers, provide old question banks and all the support are done by them. Attendances are must.
Other: Arts day and sports day are the main events. They'll try to conduct arts day and sports day very well and improvement is there every year.

Dissatisfied with the infrastructure and placements. The faculty is good.
Placements: There is no such thing called placement. The placements are there only in their brochure. Our college has the well industrial background, but none of the students got the job in these industries. Only very few companies visit that too without relation with core fields. Job fairs are conducted every year, but the companies who are coming for recruiting doesn't need anyone from engineering field.
Infrastructure: The college has the central library, and the Wi-Fi connectivity but students can't use them. The infrastructure is average. The quality of the food is good, but different kinds of food are not available. There is fixed menu for food .There is no cafeteria and are average. The infrastructure works are under construction. There is a small playground.
Faculty: The faculty members are experienced and well educated. The mechanical engineering faculty are helpful. The students to faculty ratio are average. There is a little industry exposure. The teaching methods are fine, but the huge workload was given to the students. There is only a little bit of coordination with departments. Account section of the college is worst.

Absolutely satisfied because of the faculty but not happy about the placements.
Placements: The placements for our senior batch students are mainly offered as call centres. The management conducts placement drives for the mechanical engineering students, but most of them are call centres, banks, marketing employees, Amazon dealer etc. They offered a salary of minimum 8000 rupees per month and a maximum of 12000 rupees. Students are just participants, the winners in the interview are outside people (an open interview is conducted). About 20% of the students get the interships from our college.
Infrastructure: Our college has neat and disciplined classrooms, labs, and also a library. In the college brochure, Wi-Fi campus and a good medical facility are both mentioned but are fake. Sports and games are conducted in our college every year. The quality of the food has mixed reviews, some of the students have a good opinion and some others do not. Hostel rooms are not like brochures. Hostel students are happy when they leave the hostel. We faced many infrastructure related issues, and we announce strikes against the college in the previous year. About the hostel, medical facility, faculty behaviour etc.
Faculty: Some faculty members in our college are very friendly and some others are strict. Both of them are helpful for students and they are highly qualified. They're also knowledgeable. Many teaching methods are used, depending on the faculty. Some of the faculty members conduct questionnaires with the students. And some conduct quick tests for all subjects. Student to faculty ratio is normal in our college and there is no shortage of staff to take the subject. The course curriculum is useful. An average student can use the system very effectively.
