A:
{Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary:

Positive Aspects:

* Helpful teachers: Many reviewers praised the teaching staff for their guidance and support.
* Industry-ready curriculum: The college follows VTU guidelines, making graduates industry-ready.
* Good placements: Although not excellent, many students reported positive placement experiences, with top recruiters like Wipro, TCS, and Amazon offering salaries ranging from INR3-INR7 Lacs per annum.
* Well-equipped infrastructure: The college has modern infrastructure, including Wi-Fi-enabled campuses, spacious classrooms, and well-equipped labs.
* Friendly campus culture: Reviewers described the campus as peaceful and conducive to studies.

Negative Aspects:

* Placement variability: While some batches saw good placements, others experienced challenges finding jobs immediately after graduation.
* Limited extracurricular activities: Reviewers mentioned that the college doesn't conduct frequent events and fests.
* Facility limitations: Some departments' lab equipment was outdated, while the library's book collection was limited.
* Hostel issues: One reviewer reported poor hostel conditions, including unhygienic living spaces and inadequate food options.

In conclusion, while AIEMS has its strengths, such as helpful teachers and industry-ready curricula, it falls short in areas like placement consistency and extracurricular activity frequency. Good infrastructure, faculty and placements.
Placements: Last year's CSE department had good placement. Out of 60 students, almost 40+ got placed. Most have been recruited in Wipro, TCS, etc. Most of us have been placed as Software engineer fresher. Everyone gets for internship in various reputed companies and in startups also. Packages received are between 3 to 7 lakh per annum.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is one of the best in this college. The whole campus is covered with multiple Wi-Fi spots and they offer high-speed connections too of 100 mbps. Labs are equipped with industry standard equipments. Classrooms are equipped with the best facility. Library is filled with the study material that one could ever need.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and they try their best to guide the students. Course syllabus is based on VTU’s guidelines, so of course the course makes the students industry ready. Semester exams are easy for us as teachers explain all the concepts in detail throughout the semester. Pass percentage is 96%.
Other: This is a good college for your Bachelors degree.

Our college is good for getting degree.
Placements: Students placed from past years were very few and active. There are only off-campus placements. Placement team is quite supportive but depends on the student. Only few students are actively concerned about their future.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is well and good as far as the buildings are concerned, but facilities are not up to mark like a library with very less books. So the one who goes 1st will get the book as there are only 5 to 6 books of the same title for a strength of 50 students. Wi-Fi is always a hit-and-miss situation, you can't ever rely on it as it is switched off when you need it the most. Classrooms are average, but labs are having computers of the 1990s, they barely even work. Being CS students, computers should be upgraded for us.
Faculty: Courses are as per the guidelines from VTU, but the faculty is a bit troublesome, few lectures don't know what they are teaching, and some talk show, that you even struggle to understand the whole context of the sentence, like 1 word per 2 seconds. Only knowledgeable and actively supportive lecturers can be found in the CSE department. Professor Ramesh Babu sir has in-depth knowledge about the subject that he is teaching, and clear your doubts or correct the mistakes in a fraction of seconds.

I'm not at all satisfied, and it's not worth the money. You can get much better colleges than this.
Placements: Placements here are conducted every year and internships as well (paid or unpaid). What I have often seen is that students from mechanical, electrical, civil or non-CSE branches don't get placed in their core companies. Instead, after 4 years, they spend their time learning web development to get placed in the IT sector. Companies like Wipro, Cisco, etc., visit our college for placements. But I have seen my seniors facing difficulty to qualify in the interview. However, the highest salary package of around 6 LPA-7 LPA is offered in our college.
Infrastructure: I have stayed one year in the hostel and had decided not to stay because there is no hygiene in the hostel. The food provided in the canteen is bad, and you may have to face severe consequences of it. The library has all the reference books provided by VTU, and there is a Wi-Fi facility in the hostel. Classrooms have a fine infrastructure and are spacious and manageable. In the labs, most of the time, equipment does not work, and software won't be downloaded into the computer systems.
Faculty: Some faculty members here have in-depth knowledge of their core subjects, and those teachers are Ramesh Babu sir, etc. But other faculty members don't even know the basics of subjects. They just come and read whatever is available in the textbook without being responsible for explaining what it is. Sometimes they don't even read things. Students should study on their own and can't expect a little bit of help from teachers.
Other: I belong to the 2018 batch. I have chosen CSE, and if I have chosen some other branch, I surely would have been struggling more. VTU can change its syllabus to more practical-based rather than being theory-based. So, it would really help students to face the industry sector more confidently. Some events are organised now and then by the MBA branch. Students can have fun and can dance, cook and do whatever they wish. Sports events are organised every year.

If your rank is too low and you want to do engineering in just 2 Lacs, this is the best college.
Placements: Placements aren't up to the mark. The current placement manager gets the salary package of only 1 LPA. He doesn't seem to have the complete placement knowledge and tie-ups with great companies. Most of the companies visited our campus are not reputed. I hope the placement officer will be changed soon.
Infrastructure: The campus area considerably average, but the way they have laid out plan and built is very odd. The college is very small compared to the two large hostels beside it. Each floor of the academic building is dedicated to a different department, but I must say that everything is readily available and in contended required amount. Neither, there are many facilities, nor very less. Labs have required instruments for all students, and they are very well-equipped.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are good, but not the best. They can provide theoretical knowledge, but not practical knowledge and about the current trends. Moreover, students can't survive with theoretical knowledge. Overall, the faculty members are average.
Other: The college doesn't conduct events and fests. Everything is held in an auditorium, which feels like a seminar hall, and not the auditorium. The campus surroundings are peaceful and good for studies. You must not consider extracurricular activities as they are not conducted.

No placements and bad infrastructure
Placements: None of the students gets placement on the campus as no company shows up to our college and college won't help you for placement or any kind of internship. Overall placements are about nil. The college does not provide any kind of help in building your skills or experience in any field. Placement cell is not at all efficient.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was the worst but with time it's getting better as they built 2 new buildings and a new hostel for girls and boys, Wi-Fi enabled campus, the library is okay. The classrooms are big but the mess is the worst.
Faculty: Some of the teachers are nice but others are very bad as they hold personal grudges against students. Some of the faculty are not even qualified as they have only done B.Tech. They go through the PDF and don't explain anything. There are no industrial visitors or any extracurricular activity provided by faculty.
Other: No events
