Q: Â I am in Class 12 and want to appear for UGAT exam, can I fill the registration form of UGAT without the results of 12th class?
Yes, students who are in Class 12 or are awaiting for their Class 12 results can certainly apply for the UGAT exam. The basic eligibility crtieria for appearing for the UGAT exam is as follows:
- Candidate must have secured at least 50% aggregate at Class 12 level
- There is no age bar. Candidates of any age can appear for the exam.
- Applicants in Class 12 or awaiting the results are also eligible to apply provisionally. This means that they would be requireed to present their Class 12 marksheet, school leaving certificate, transfer certificate, etc. at the time of admission. If the candidate fails to submit the required documents, then, their candidature will be cancelled.
Q: Â What are the UGAT registration dates?
UGAT 2025 registrations will begin anytime soon. The application schedule is announced on the official website of UGAT. The AIMA UGAT application process begins with the UGAT registration and application fee payment. Candidates need to submit their UGAT application form before the deadline. Candidates will have to choose the their preferred institutes they wish to apply for their course through UGAT score. Candidates will be eligible for admission to only those institutes that they had selected in the UGAT application form. The application window for UGAT will likely be opened for approximately two or three months. The last date to register for the UGAT 2025 exam is June 6, 2025.
Q: Â What is the AIMA UGAT exam duration and slot?
The UGAT exam is held for two hours or 120 minutes. There is only one slot for the UGAT exam. The candidates need to solve the question paper in 120 minutes and this means that the candidates will have less than a minute to solve each question. Candidates must take care of marking their answers at every step as the moment 120 minutes will get over, the candidates will be asked to stop writing. The UGAT exam is conducted in the morning shift, i.e. from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Also, there is no provision for changing the exam slot. Candidates must make sure that they reach the UGAT exam centre by 8:00 AM in order to complete the frisking formalities at the entry gate. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam centre beyond 8:45 AM.

No, UGAT is conducted only once a year. Candidates have to wait for the next session if they miss this year's exam. The UGAT exam is conducted in the PBT (paper-based test) mode. Based on the UGAT scores, students can apply for admission to integrated management programme used for admission into various undergraduate programs offered by colleges and universities in India. The exam will only be conducted in the computer-based test mode for all the sessions across various cities. The difficulty level of the UGAT exam is usually easy and the candidates can easily prepare for this exam. Candidates who wish to appear for the UGAT exam need to apply on the official website of AIMA and fill out the UGAT application form once the application window opens. Candidates registering for UGAT 2025 must ensure that they check the eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. Candidates must note that applications that do not comply with the UGAT eligibility criteria will be rejected by the officials.

UGAT 2025 Exam Day Guidelines
Mentioned below are some of the UGAT exam day guidelines that the students must adhere to:
- Candidates must visit the exam centre at least an hour before the exam begins.
- Candidates must carry two coloured copies of the UGAT admit card.
- Candidates must bring a ballpoint pen to the centre. Other gadgets such as digital watches, statistical tables, calculators, etc. are not permitted in the exam centre.
- Candidates must wear a mask all the time during the exam.Â
- Candidates must carry their personal transparent water bottles to the exam centre.
- Candidates must not indulge in any sort of malpractice. If caught, they will be barred from taking the exam.
