Don't take admission without reading this.
Placements: Around 80% of the students in my course were placed, which is a reflection of a strong academic foundation and effective training efforts. The highest package was 40 LPA (Amazon), the average was 8 LPA, and the lowest was 3.5 LPA (TCS). Top recruiters included Microsoft, Amazon, and Byju's, offering roles like software engineer, data analyst, and consultant. About 50% secured internships with companies like EY, Deloitte, and startups, gaining hands-on experience and pre-placement opportunities. Overall, the course provided outstanding placement outcomes by instilling practical skills, career growth, and industry readiness in the graduates.
Infrastructure: 1. The infrastructure is good, with well-equipped labs, Wi-Fi available (though time-limited), and a library stocked with books. 2. The faculty lacks modern teaching methods due to a generation gap, but the hostel food was good for the first two months, but then it became bad. However, the facilities in the canteen, medical support, and sports were excellent, ensuring a comfortable and supportive environment for students.
Faculty: Most of the teachers were dumb but some were excellent. The teaching quality was bad; they came with their notes, which were like 10 years old and just passed it. No, the course is outdated. Well, the exams are easy as repeated questions come.
Other: I have a genuine interest in computers, so that's why I took CSE and the best thing about CSE is that it evolves every day. I would like to introduce new languages like Python and trust. Akgec is a college where there is no fest, the crowd is mixed, and extracurricular activities are there if you are willing to take part.

It is totally dedicated to academics and co-curricular activities.
Placements: Somehow, placements are affected by the recession. Top recruiting companies like Infosys, Google, Amazon, Microsoft, etc., visit the college for placements. The percentage of students getting internships is minimal and one can be offered to do so.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. The mandatory changes are still to be made by the college authorities, and they must comply with the needs and requirements of the college infrastructure. The hostels are well-furnished and provide minimal facilities for students.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful in various aspects of teaching as well as monitoring students about placements, etc. The course curriculum is good, and it is totally what the industry needs nowadays. Semester exams are not as difficult as IITs and NITs. The pass ratio is good enough.
Other: I chose the college as it is one of the finest colleges of AKTU providing placements under various courses which is of valuable interest. I would say that the recession has affected the placements but all we need is to cope with that. I wish the college would improve the sports facilities for cricket and other sports. It organises only some college events though but quite boring.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the poor management of AKGEC.
Placements: This year, the placements are really bad, especially because of the recession period. The placements themselves are usually not that nice, but due to the recession in the IT sector this year, it is way worse. Other branches apart from all the computer-related branches are being placed in large amounts. ME, ECE, EN, CIVIL—these branches have better placements than CSE branches this year.
Infrastructure: The facilities, such as Wi-Fi, do not work. It is very slow, and if you want to actually study, it will only frustrate you because of how slow it is. There are no ACs in classes, and in the summer of 2024, it's WAY TOO HOT. We have classes in May, June, July, which are the hottest months of the year, and the management thinks we should be 'mentally strong' and not be bothered by the extremely hot classrooms, which are unbearable. The management is not there to help the students.
Faculty: The faculty may be qualified and have the required degrees, but they do not know how to teach, and most of the faculty don't want to teach. The curriculum is very outdated, and no practical applications are taught. Even in labs, they don't teach us anything and expect us to do the research ourselves and complete the experiments. They do not care if we even did the experiments; they just want their lab files, which are handwritten CODE.
Other: The value for money is not there since even after taking this much money, they cannot put ACs and instead are just building more classrooms so they can extend the number of seats in order to get more admissions and hence more money.

Good college and nice facilities.
Placements: The percentage of students who passed in our Ajay Kumar college. Almost 69% of students were placed in our course. The highest package offered is 18 LPA. The lowest package offered is 4 to 8 LPA. The recruiting companies are Infosys, Jio, BSNL, Samsung, Yes Bank, etc. Internship opportunities in our course are 73%.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is amazing. Our college has many blocks for each branch. In our MCA branch, they provide facilities such as Wi-Fi facilities, library facilities, and labs with good systems. Various books are provided in our college. The hostel has Wi-Fi facilities and good food in the mess.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are helpful, well qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. Our branch faculty have more than 10 to 12 years of experience. The course curriculum is relevant to industry. The semester exams are hard to pass. Pass percentage is 67%.

A short and honest description of my college.
Placements: The process of campus selection here is quite good. You must have obtained more than a 7 CGPA in the University exams with no backlogs in any subject. When we talk about the average package, it is 4 Lacs per annum. Along with the CGPA, you must have some skills. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, Wipro, Intel, HCL, etc.
Infrastructure: There are 3 hostels for girls at AKGEC. These hostels have double and triple-seater rooms and accommodate about 600 students. There are 2 hostels for boys named "Junior Boys Hostel Complex" and "Senior Boys Hostel Complex." The Junior Boys Hostel can accommodate 300 students with double occupancy rooms. The Senior Boys Hostel can accommodate 600 students with single & triple occupancy rooms. Each hostel at AKGEC has a separate mess with a well-equipped kitchen and dining area providing hygienic, nutritious, and wholesome meals. Hostels have gymnasiums as well as indoor and outdoor sports facilities. Each hostel also has a TV room and library with magazines and fiction/general reading books. Hostels are equipped with eco-friendly solar water heating systems. Hostels also have canteens and provision stores for minor items of daily requirement.
Faculty: The teaching methods of the faculty members are very interactive and interesting. AKGEC students receive merit-based awards in the final year, internal examinations, and other educational years. At the university level, first, second, third, and fourth to tenth position holders get rewards from the college. At the college level, also, first, second, and third position holders get rewards from the college. Students with 80% and above receive awards from AKGEC. It is relevant if you study through the curriculum, so study through quantum for academic success. It is possible because we have such dedicated and knowledgeable teachers.
Other: The most attractive thing about my college is its infrastructure. The environment of the college is very ecological and full of greenery.

Reality of Ghaziabad colleges.
Placements: Placements are decent. Each student who gets into the placement and training cell of the college will definitely be able to crack a job. The average CTC of the college is about 8 LPA. About 70% of students are placed in the college. No big companies come to the college. Only Noida and Delhi-based companies come.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is too old, as it is based on the AKTU counseling system. It will definitely be modified. The facilities are good, helpful, and supportive, and they also take extra classes for exams. Hostel food is very poor. I do not recommend that you choose the hostels. Rather, take nearby PGs.
Faculty: It was not the fault of the faculty who chose the curriculum. It is designed by the AKTU council, which is responsible for this old syllabus, which is irrelevant for engineering. Now, students are not able to fit into the industry after their graduation.
Other: I chose this course because I like coding and all that stuff. Also, the college is fully focused on academics. There are no events except for freshers. Scholarships are for UPTAC counseling students whose family income is below 5 LPA.
