M.E. in Environmental Engineering - Batch of 2020

M.E. in environment engineering, 2020.
Placements: Roughly half of the students from this class got offered. And few of them looking for other jobs. Training for placements would be started from the pre-final years. Only a small amount was charged for placement training. The pay scale would be dangerous between 2.5 LPA to 5.1 LPA depending upon the company.
Infrastructure: It did not provide extraordinary facilities for students but it was a secured one. Other than this college transportation, it supports students for public transportation too.
Faculty: We were often involved in the field works and workshops arranged by teachers. Teachers had higher level of experience and supremacy in their respective fields. Higher potential teachers and share various ideas related to our core. Teachers know how to present a paper during semester to secure good grades.
Other: It helps students get scholarships for fee payments and their expenses.

Placement coaching is valuable for the money.
Placements: The rate of placement did not fulfill my expectation rate. About 67 percent of students got placed from every department. Core industries usually actively took place in drives. Finally, placements need to concentrate on entrepreneurship.
Infrastructure: It's a very old college with good ventilation of air. It encompasses various courses with 126 allocated to each course. Based on merit, students can take admission in the college. Equipment required for the laboratories is bought once every 2 years.
Faculty: Initially, I had faced some language challenges in understanding the concepts, but later, after knowing about the students' worries, they teach everything in an understandable language. Teachers were well-experienced in giving practical training without the help of technicians.

Very well thought college in knowledge wise and sports wise.
Placements: The placements in our college are good. More than 90% of students are placed with good salary packages. The maximum salary offered is 100000 per month. Great roles are offered. Many companies like Zoho visit here for recruitment. The students are very satisfied with the placements.
Infrastructure: The college is also known for the great infrastructure too. Wi-Fi is available in all parts of our college. Students working on projects benefits from this wi-fi. Labs have good infrastructure and a good atmosphere. Classrooms have projectors to educated students.
Faculty: When it comes to our faculty members, they all speak well with students and make sure they clear all doubts according to respective subjects. They are well qualified and have good knowledge. The curriculum is relevant. It will make students industry ready in the future.

M.E. in Structural Engineering - Batch of 2024

Higher credit to the college management.
Placements: Placement classifies skills into two categories: one is hard skills, which cover most of the technical skills required for the subject, and the other is non-technical, which covers soft skills like communication. To learn all these skills, we were required to pay for professional training. The maximum pay scale for the Department of Structural Engineering would be 4.5 Lacs.
Infrastructure: Initially, I had faced homesickness and other illnesses when I shifted to the hostel, but nowadays, I'm able to adapt to such conditions. Sports are encouraged by the management, and they believe education is based on previous sports performance. Buses were available with required facilities like tracking and security cameras.
Faculty: The overall academic performance results were calculated and updated by the department in charge of all the departments. Also, rewards were given to the top three rankers in every semester exam to encourage us and help us perform well in upcoming exams.

Review for Alagappa Chettiar Government College of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: The highest salary offered to placed students is 2.8 LPA, which is roughly INR 20000 to 24000 per month, including PF and ESI. Most recruiting companies are core companies like Tesla, Ford, and Intel.
Infrastructure: The college provides the necessary resources for academic and placement purposes. However, resources for mental health, such as yoga classes and fitness centers, are lacking. Transportation facilities, including college buses and public transport like auto-rickshaws and buses, are available outside the campus.
Faculty: Students need to work hard under the guidance of teachers to achieve high grades in exams. The college focuses on industrial visits and industry-oriented classes rather than traditional lectures. Coaching classes are arranged based on student performance in internal assessments.

I am satisfied in my college because apart from placement and staff we can learn new things daily.
Placements: 85 percentage of students get placement. The highest package in our college is 5 LPA. The lowest package is 1 LPA, and the average package is 2 LPA. 80 percent of students get internships. The top recruiting company in my course is Zoho. The roles offered in my courses are IT and core.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college and hostel was somewhat good. Library and labs for practical work are available. IoT lab, and placement training center are available here. In the mess, the food was average, and the atmosphere of the hostel was good. In our college, sports and extracurricular activities are there for students.
Faculty: Teachers in the college are good at teaching. Most of the teachers are temporary staff. There is a minimum number of permanent and experienced staff. But their teaching is good. Semester exams are somewhat easy only because this college is an autonomous college.
