Review of Aligarh College of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: Placements in this college were not good. For every course, only BPOs come for hiring. There were no core companies visiting here, and very few students participate in the on-campus placements. After 1st year every student comes to know that off-campus placements and internships need to take. The highest salary package offered was 2.4 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college was not good. Our course which was BCA for that course, there were no proper laboratories, and teachers did not have the practical knowledge to teach the students. The classroom was not hygienic and old-school-type. The library was good but students cannot take any random book without issuing it for reading. Only at the recess time library was accessible. There were no sports facilities at all in this college. Monkeys come to the campus and classroom and damage things.
Faculty: Teachers were knowledgeable and qualified, but they were not cooperative. They do not solve the queries of students every time. The teaching methods were not good. The course was outdated but then teachers instead of teaching new things were unable to teach the textbook content properly. Semester exams were not difficult, and students can pass them by studying 1 month from the exam. The pass percentage was 33%.
Other: In this college, no fests were there only the mandatory fests of AKTU were held otherwise, the college was not concerned about fests and fairs. I opted for this BCA for acquiring knowledge of computer languages but here no knowledge I got except I learn from myself. The quality of teaching should be improved for BCA.

It is a good college, and I would recommend it to people nearby.
Placements: Placements in our college are not good because it is not a B-School. It is a degree college. Very few students got placed in the companies like HCL, Zomato, South Indian Bank, etc. Almost 10% of the students get internships. Only 20-25% of the students got placed in this college. The college is very much good in terms of academics.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good, and also there are many facilities. There is a canteen on campus, and we also have a library, but it is not very big. Hostel infrastructure is good, but the food served is not good. The food served in the hostel is good when compared to the boy's hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are very much helpful and qualified. Teaching quality is also good in this college. This is a degree college, and not a Bschool, so it doesn't make the student industry-ready. Semester exams are not so much difficult, and one can easily get good marks. The pass percentage is 33%, and the highest is something around 83-88%.
Other: Campus life overall is good. There are two small playgrounds, common rooms, etc. Overall teachers are helpful, and there are four clubs for cultural, technical, and sports activities. The location is quite good. Within 5 minutes you can reach Sonarpur Station. Buses are available from the main gate also.

I couldn’t say that it is worth of money, but it is good in private colleges in Aligarh.
Placements: Hardly any company come for campus placement in this course to our college, and our senior batch is the first batch of civil engineering. The placement was not up to mark. Only BPOs or call centre came to the campus for placement. The highest stipend of other branches is 2.5 LPA, and the lowest stipend is 1.4 LPA. Students got placed in BPOs.
Infrastructure: Usually, college should have all the facilities which my college missed out. My college campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled, but you can't use it because the mobile phone is not allowed in my college. There are two libraries in our college, but they are useless because you can use them only at lunchtime(40 min). The quality of food in the canteen is worst.
Faculty: I wouldn’t say that faculty is expert but they have good knowledge about engineering and faculty ratio to the student is good for the 1st year and 2nd year, but 3rd and 4th years, there is always a shortage of faculty. At this time, there are only 3 professors in the 3rd and 4th years. We get industry exposure for 1 or 2 times.

The infrastructure is average but the placements are zero.
Placements: No students are placed by the college. No campus placements are there and no companies visit our college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure neither good nor bad. No Wi-Fi facilities are available and phones are not allowed. Classrooms are very bad and the boards are even too old, the things written on it are not properly visible. Medical facilities are not available, even a normal first aid kit is not available. If any emergency happens, we have to handle it all by ourselves.
Faculty: Some of the teachers are good in nature but some are short tempered, they take out their frustration on the student which is not good. The teachers are not willing to teach properly.
