It is a very good college.
Placements: Around 40% of students got placed, and most opportunities are from IT industry. The highest salary package offered is 55 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. Top roles offered in our course are web developer, software engineer, and project lead.
Infrastructure: Our college offers good facilities and the infrastructure is also very good. Our college is one of the best among any college in Kerala. Hostel is good, with a canteen which serves best dishes. We have a lot of sports activities like football, cricket, basketball, volleyball, badminton, and some indoor games. There are many prizes for those who participate in inter-college competitions.
Faculty: Teachers are supportive and helpful. They try their best to encourage students who don't score good marks. Semester exams are conducted by the university, so exams are a bit tough. Pass percentage is about 60%-70%. The course curriculum is not very relevant, as we are studying a lot of unwanted subjects that are not of use for pursuing a specific career.
Other: I chose this course because my ambition is to become a software engineer and the course is helping me to achieve it. Many extracurricular activities are conducted in our college.

Review of Amal Jyothi College of Engineering.
Placements: Our class has 70 seats, all of which were filled first, but 2 students left to pursue other interests. Recruiting companies are SOTI, Safran, UST, Cognizant, etc. Some students also secured internship opportunities, while some students secured internships in their last semester without coming to college.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our college is good. We can't find a better infrastructure in KTU-based colleges. Wi-Fi is available with good speed, but due to increasing loads, speed decreases. Classrooms are also very well equipped with LED TV screens and projectors. Labs are good.
Faculty: Faculty members in IT department are very helpful, supportive, and friendly. They offer their help in any way they can. The course curriculum is not bad for IT branch since we study most technologies.

This college's education is worthwhile if you are willing to put in the effort.
Placements: Only 30 percent of my batchmates were placed INR 5 lacs was the highest given package, and INR 2 lacs and INR 3 lacs were the lowest and average given packages. Top recruitment companies include TCS, Federal Bank, and small and medium startups. Most of the students got paid and unpaid internships at companies like TCS, mainly in startups. The top jobs offered in my course are junior software engineer, app developer, full-stack developer, etc.
Infrastructure: The campus has a great ambience since it is far from the city area. Classrooms are comfy and promote a great lecture experience. There are more than sufficient computer systems in labs. Students have unlimited Wi-Fi access on the college campus and hostel. At least 10 copies of all textbooks mentioned in the syllabus are present in the library. There are plenty of other books for research purposes. There are computer systems in the library for students who do not own a system. One downside of the library is that it is not open 24 hours a day. There is a superb canteen, which is better than most of the restaurants in city areas. Other facilities include basketball courts, a SBI bank branch, 2 ATMs, a stationary shop, and a photostat shop. The hostel is also managed, and the cleanliness deserves a 5-star rating in the hostel mess. Hostel food is prepared with a perfect, healthy, balanced diet in mind. There are basketball and badminton courts for leisure purposes. There are two nearby hospitals for medical purposes, and transportation is provided by the college in case of emergencies.
Faculty: Most of the teachers were very good. They are very cooperative and well qualified. The course is curriculum-relevant, but I don't think this course only makes the students industry-ready. One needs to do other specification courses and internships outside the campus to be industry-relevant. Semester exams are okay, but a pass percentage of 40 is a bit high. The pass percentage should have been 35 instead of 40.

Amal Jyothi College of Engineering.
Placements: For CS and IT nearly 100% placement for those who require. TCS, Infosys, Banks we're the largest recruiters. Does the salary package usually start at Rs 25000 during the training period at Infosys. There is also a promotion for setting up startups and an incubator is available.
Infrastructure: Full high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout campus. Labs are well maintained and have required faculty members and equipment. The canteen has pretty good food. Sports grounds for various sports are available. The library is pretty nice and has a good collection of academic books.
Faculty: Teaching is good, feedback is collected regularly and changes are made according to that. Amal Jyothi follows the curriculum set by Kerala Technical University, which is sort of outdated, to be honest. But the college puts more effort and various branches conduct extra training programs and internships.

Infrastructure: The most amazing thing of the college is Infrastructure. The beauty of the college is amazing. College provides all facilities to the students for showing their talents to the world. The labs in the college have good quality. The canteen food is very neat and tidy. The hostel rooms are good and it is a good atmosphere for studying.
Faculty: The faculty members of the college is very helpful. They are very friendly to the students. They are ready to clear any doubts at any time. The teaching methods are talking lecture, then showing the video about that topic and seminar to students. Still this date we didnt get any industry exposure.
