I am satisfied because of good faculty members and not value for money.
Placements: About 70% of students got placed in various reputed companies like IBM, TCS, Wipro, Amazon, etc. The college has a separate placement cell which enables the students to gain more placement opportunities like conducting aptitude tests, reasoning abilities, etc. Most of the placed students got 3 LPA - 5 LPA as average salary packages.
Infrastructure: Our campus owns a very good infrastructure which enables the students feel very positive and vibrant during their college life. Wi-Fi connection with very high bandwidth is available on campus, hostel, and department all the time. Labs are well equipped with modern machinery and technologies.
Faculty: Almost 600-700 faculty members including non-teaching staff members are working all over campus. The staff members are helpful and pleasantful. We can clear any doubts at any time. Even if they don't know, they will refer us to any other faculty who is an expert in their area irrespective of our course specialisation, department, etc.

Amazing infrastructure with enough facilities to become an engineer.
Placements: Mainly companies from IT field comes to our college. Especially TCS, which take more than 72 students of our batch and 200+ for our seniors. One with 60% or above with 2 backlogs can get into the drive. Other than that companies like sun tech, IBM, face academy etc. Came to our college. Apart this recruitment from Indian navy was there.
Infrastructure: 65 acres of campus with 12 departments is there. Campus is affiliated to KTU university. Campus has a good infrastructure with centralized Wi-Fi of 610 MS speed, central library, good cafeteria space, SIB bank and Atm, research center, tbi for project incubator, large play ground, separate labs of each department with well-equipped and good classrooms are key attractions of this college.
Faculty: Each department have enough faculty members for helping students. One with Ph.D. or similar grade are the head of department and each faculty have M.Tech degree or above. Teachers are very helpful especially during project time. They arrange add on courses which enhance the curriculum.
Other: A lots of additional courses are arranged by each department to improve the knowledge of there respective fields. Techno-cultural fest AZURE is there to showcase the talents of students. Some other sports events are there.

If you want a fulfilling college experience and if you want a secure life, don't join here.
Placements: The placements are good but not too good. 78 students from across various disciplines were placed into TCS from our batch, UST global placed around 20 students, Suntech around 5 and so on. But, when it comes to core placements, we weren't that well sought after, for example, from our class, only one student who was the topper in our class (EEE) got placed in MRF. And, that too is barely electrical. Core placements were very poor for mechanical, civil and automobile engineering.
Infrastructure: The facilities are pretty much great. The college has well-equipped labs, very peaceful atmosphere owing to the grand location it is situated in. A good basketball court, a huge cafeteria, and a first class, I would bet, an Olympic grade ground under construction. The hostel systems adjoin the college and provide easily one of the best services in the state. Libraries and computer labs are top notches, there is an abundance of reference texts, and digital courses are available. One could complain a lot of things about the attitude of the management and faculty, but there is nothing to be said about the infrastructure, it is really worth.
Faculty: The faculty are given specific goals in their curriculum, and they complete it. The faculty are ready to help and guide you. But, there is an air of unnecessary strictness throughout the college, it's more instruct than inspire. The teaching methods vary from faculty to faculty, but mostly, it was a very textbook oriented style of teaching. The faculty strength was slightly above average. In our branch alone, we had around 40 faculty members for 200 students. Industry exposure was very limited, but it was basically up to the students to organise. We had 4 industrial visits in our college life. And, they were mandatory. We can get very good support from faculty for the projects. The syllabus that we used to follow was MG university, but now like every other college in Kerala, we too follow the KTU syllabus. We have the Metallurgy branch, which is very rare. Most of the teachers have M.Tech, and a lot of them either hold or are doing their PhDs.
Other: We have 3 major events for a year. Azure, the cultural festival, Arena, the basketball tournament, and also the tech fest. The events are on a grand scale, but there are much better campuses giving a much better experience, and they are not too hard to find and get into. The management has a bad habit of interfering with the fun of the students ultimately ruining it for everyone.

Q:   Can students get selected at Amal Jyothi College of Engineering with JEE range of 75-85 percentile ?

A:

Predicting the acceptance of students with a JEE Main percentile range of 75-85 into Amal Jyothi College of Engineering (AJCE) is challenging due to several factors. AJCE gives more weight to KEAM scores over JEE eligibility, making it difficult to precisely gauge acceptance based solely on JEE scores. Conversion between JEE percentiles and KEAM ranks is imprecise due to variations in test difficulty and participation.

Noteworthy considerations include the annual variability of cutoffs and the fact that AJCE's closing ranks change yearly across different branches. While past trends suggest that a JEE percentile of 90+ might be competitive, this is not a guarantee for every branch or year.

Q:   Is there any way of applying offline for the Amal Jyothi College of Engineering application form?

A:

No, Amal Jyothi College of Engineering (AJCE) exclusively accepts online applications for B.Tech admissions and offline submissions are not considered. All prospective applicants, both domestic and international, are required to utilize the centralized Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) website for the online application process.

The decision to only accept online applications is driven by several factors:

  1. Efficiency and Transparency: Online applications enhance the efficiency of the admission process, providing a streamlined and transparent system for both applicants and the college.

  2. Reduced Paperwork: By eliminating physical forms, the online application process contributes to a reduction in paperwork, resulting in cost savings and a more environmentally friendly approach.

  3. Centralized Processing: KEAM serves as a centralized platform for engineering admissions in Kerala, ensuring a standardized and centrally managed procedure.

  4. Data Security: Online applications offer increased data security, reducing the risk of loss or damage associated with physical documents.
