Not expected placement?
Placements: Only nearly 30% of students got placed properly. The highest package in our college is 4 lakhs per annum. No core companies came for our college placement; it is very poor. We did a paid internship at Trivandrum. Software engineer was the top role offered in our course.
Infrastructure: Our college has very good infrastructure. However, there is no Wi-Fi connection as it is a rural area. Classrooms are very clean. The canteen offers only some common food varieties. Various sports like carrom, chess, cricket, and throwball are conducted inter-college.
Faculty: Only some staff members were knowledgeable; others just manage with the topic. As our college is affiliated with Anna University, exams are conducted based on their timetable. Above 50 marks is a pass mark, including internal marks. Semester exams will be at a moderate level.
Other: Since I was interested in software designing, I selected this course. They focus mainly on academics, with little importance given to practical work. No events are conducted. NSS is available for camping. The campus surrounding is very fresh. They also conduct some competitions on annual day and provide prizes.

I am eagerly waiting for the final year to get placed in a good and well-reputed company.
Placements: We are the first batch students of our college, and we believe and trust that we will get placed in a popular company and will earn a high salary. The most important thing is that we must do hard and smart work to achieve that. Almost 90%of students got an internship in companies like Vi Microsystems.Pvt.Ltd and Pantech.
Infrastructure: Our campus has a good environment, and it is a pollution-free campus. Facilities like Wi-Fi campus, good library, well-developed labs and classrooms with projectors are provided. Mostly vegetarian food is provided here, and canteen is awesome. Students can drink tea or coffee whatever they want. The daily evening after the classes there will be 1-hour practice session is allotted for sports and games.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful. All staff who are handling our subjects are very brilliant and has well knowledge. Almost every staff has completed there PhD so that they have more knowledge of their subject. They make students understand each and every topic and also daily after 5.00 pm they give 1 hr to students to clear their doubts. Weekly once placement training is given to students to develop our knowledge and to train students to attend the interview in the final year.
Other: I have chosen this course because I believe that ECE is a good sector than others. It is actually a little bit difficult to learn some subjects, but if we like the subject, then it is easy to learn. It would be nice if we have any tricks to clear the difficult papers. Students do mini-projects during the summer holidays. We go for an industrial visit twice a semester.

B.E. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2025
3.6
3Placements4Infrastructure2Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
Good infrastructure and applied knowledge provided.
Placements: In the Department of Mechanical Engineering (2024 pass-out batch), more than 70 percent of the students got placed. The top companies in which they got selected are Daimler, Renault, etc. Salary packages range from 3 LPA to 5 LPA, which is not enough for a graduate. The major advantage I personally had is the support and advice from the staff. They constantly motivated us to participate in competitions and prepare for competitive exams. Due to their motivation, I participated in and won prizes in many competitions, and my skills have developed significantly. However, due to time limitations, the quality of the course offered is less than what I expected. In conclusion, if you are dedicated to developing your skills, you will gain a lot of leadership qualities (such as speaking, presenting your opinions to others, controlling group members, and staying motivated in extreme situations). At the same time, you will have many opportunities to gain a good amount of applied engineering knowledge. Everything depends on the student's mindset. Finally, after the first year, every student will participate in internships as per college rules. At the end of each semester, we will get internships in various companies for a duration of around 20 days.
Infrastructure: All the machinery required for university-level practicals is present, but higher-level machinery needed for research will not be available. I did struggle because of this when I had an innovative idea in the field of ceramics. The library in our college is very well-equipped; all the books you require will be there.
Faculty: I am not supposed to comment on the staff, but if you look at the quality of the course, it is lacking. Since the Anna University exam pattern and quality of correction are poor, most of the people studying under the affiliation of this university understand why I have said so; the teachers have adapted to it. Since our college has changed from affiliated to deemed, the quality of the courses is expected to increase significantly.
Other: For my life, knowledge in the mechanical industry is essential. Also, according to me, the leadership quality of a mechanical student is higher compared to others, so I selected this course even after the boom in the IT sector. Additionally, a good amount of opportunities are available in government sectors for mechanical engineers.

Genuinely satisfied with all the facilities provided by my campus.
Placements: Around 99% of the students got placed in my course. The highest salary offered is Rs. 8,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 4,000 per month. The top recruiting companies are Tata consultancy, Barat electrical, Caterpillar. The top role offered is Technician. Every student got an internship from my course.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available, modernised classrooms, technical and digital laboratories, a large library with plenty of books related to various departments are available. The hostel contains high-speed Wi-Fi facility, 24 hours security services, digital camera and food provided with high quality.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful, and they make their content genuine and brief, they follow high quality in teaching. They are highly knowledgeable. This course curriculum is relevant, and it definitely makes students industry-ready. They also complete syllabus within the scheduled time.
Other: I chose this course to acquire more knowledge about electronics. This course provides more governmental offers. The syllabus is huge so that it can be reduced. The campus crowd participated in many events. Sports played a heavy role this year.

I am absolutely satisfied with the faculty, infrastructure, placements and facilities of our college
Placements: Around 75%-85% of the students from our course got placed. The top recruitment companies to our college are Lockheed Martin No.1, Texas Instruments and Wipro Lightning Cooperate. About 85% of the students are offered with the highest salary package, and 60% of the students are offered with the average salary package, and 50% of the students are offered with the lowest salary package. About 25% of the students got internships in solar power plant and Munanjipatti, while 20% of the students got in NIWE, Kaiya Thar, and the 35% of the students got in Kudankulam, Tirunelveli district.
Infrastructure: In our course, workshops are conducted, and there are more clubs to perform activities and to exhibit our ideas and provides importance to extracurricular activities. They provide more job opportunities and conducts training conduct for jobs and interviews. Teachers in our course are well-qualified who make students learn creatively and also conducts powerpoint presentations and seminars. The infrastructure is available in labs, and there are well-defined classrooms, transportation facilities, digital library, power supplies and perfect arrangements of classrooms. The hostel is well infrastructure, well-defined and safety. The quality of the food served is good, and the canteen is neat. Games and sports facilities are available, and good medical facilities are also available.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and well qualified in their subjects. They are knowledgeable and shares their knowledge to us very well. They conduct classes creatively, and provides coaching for GATE exam and links the subject to the day to day activities and conducts activities in classroom-based on valuable courses. They also conduct seminars and gives assignments. The course is curriculum relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. They conduct industrial visits to students for training purposes, so they get more ideas.
Other: I am interested in pursuing B.E, EEE because I like to exhibit my ideas and to create something related to my subject. The best thing about our course is it was very interesting with creative teaching. I wish that the college should provide teaching opportunities by robots, to provide more electricity through the installation of more power plants, provide more opportunities to improve the technology, etc. Events and fest are conducted in our college. Scholarships are available in our college. Extracurricular activities are conducted in our course.

It is one of the best colleges in our district.
Placements: We the students of Amrita College of Engineering and Technology is to be the first batch. At present we are persuing our second year of engineering. As we are the first batch, we are not as much clear about the placement details on our campus. But still, we have a session for placement trading. Our staffs train us by giving some of the aptitude challenges.
Infrastructure: The campus infrastructure is not well built. The building constructions are still being continued. Our campus provides free Wi-Fi connections. There are separate labs for practical sessions, and the classrooms are not much good. The boards are not bright. The college library seems good, but the fact is that we don't have a library hour for spending our time in the library.
Faculty: The faculty members of our campus are well qualified. They are very friendly with us and are always ready to explain our doubts regarding the subjects. They help us in various sectors. The staffs, as well as students here, are like family.
Other: I'm continuing my second year of engineering in computer science. The reason why I chose this course is I'm interested in the software sector. I'm also interested in editing. The coding practice in this course is one of the most interesting ones which enhances this course.
