The CAP Test 2024 registration process is now ongoing. The link to the same is provided below. Interested candidates who meet the eligibility standards could visit the official website to fill out the application form for CAP Test 2024. The application forms are available for filling in online mode only at amrita.edu. Aspirants must make sure that they fill in the application form correctly as any mismatched information in the application form might lead to the rejection of their candidature.

Q:   How do I register to fill the CAP Test application form?

A:

You will have to visit the official website of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham in order to register. Candidates will have to find the ‘Admissions’ link.

A:

The CAP Test application form is only available online. Candidates who want to apply for admission will have to register, apply and pay the application fee in order to appear for the online interview.

How to Apply for CAP Test 2024

Candidates need to follow the below-mentioned steps on how to apply for CAP Test 2024.

Step 1: Visit the official website of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.

Step 2: On visiting the home page of the university, click on the ‘Admission’ tab and search for the link ‘Mass Communication’.

Step 3: On clicking the ‘Mass Communication’ link, the candidate will be redirected to a new page on the browser.

Step 4: On reaching the Dept. of Mass Communication, the candidate will have to click on ‘Apply Now’.

Step 5: The students will be directed to a new page, where they will have to register with their email ID.

Step 6: After registration, the candidates will have to enter their personal details.

Step 7: After that, they will be redirected to the 'Payment' page for depositing the application fee.

Step 8: Once the candidates have made the payment, they will have to fill in their academic details.

Step 9: After that candidates have to upload the required documents.

Step 10: Now the candidate has successfully applied for the CAP Test.

Q:   Can I pay the application fee by demand draft?

A:

No. The application fee can only be paid through online mode. You can pay the application fee via the following methods online:

  • UPI
  • RuPAY
  • Credit Card
  • Debit Card
  • Internet Banking

Q:   Can I register for CAPTEST and fill the form later?

A:

It is not mandatory to register for CAP Test and fill the application form in one go. Candidates can register for the exam on a particular day and fill the application form later. They need to submit the form and exam fee before the deadline to be eligible to appear for the exam.

How to pay CAP Test Application Fee 2024

The CAP Test 2024 registration fee is INR 500. Applicants will have to pay INR 300 for each programme applied later (applicants have to add programmes before the last date to apply).

Q:   Can I pay the fee offline?

A:

No, the admission process is being conducted online only. Candidates are required to pay the application fee in the online mode.

Documents to be Submitted For CAP Test 2024

Candidates need to submit the below-mentioned documents:

  • 2 Photographs
  • Attested photocopies of 10th and 12th marksheets for BA applications.
  • 10th and 12th mark sheets and mark sheets for all semesters of the Bachelor’s programme for MA and PG Diploma applications.

NOTE: Candidates who have appeared for their 12th examinations and are awaiting results can produce attested copies of their 11th marksheets when they appear for the CAP Test. Only at the time of joining, do they have to produce their 12th results. 

Candidates who register successfully for the CAP Test will obtain their admit cards.

Q:   I am awaiting my UG results, can I apply for a post graduate course?

A:

Candidates who are yet to write their undergraduate degree examination as well as those awaiting the results of their undergraduate examination are also eligible to apply.
