Review of ASB - Amrita School of Engineering Bengaluru.

Placements: Placements in our college are very good, especially for the CSE department. Amrita College always strives to get good placements, and it has achieved it so far. I have completed my graduation in the year 2019, and I have seen our seniors getting placed in most of the reputed companies, mostly in and around Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai.

There are decent faculty, really good infrastructure, good placements.

Placements: Our college assures that all the students to get placed in companies with good packages. Top software companies such as Infosys visit our college. This college provides quality education which liked by many software companies. Thus they prefer Amrita School of Engineering than many other colleges.

It is a nice college and very disciplined, but they should improve the food served.

Placements: Placements here were very good. The college assures almost 100% placements. Nearly 50 major companies visit the college for placements. Internship programmes are very good here. Almost 85% of the students are getting internships. There is a placement cell.

I am satisfied with the fee and placements we got here.

Placements: Nearly 94% of the students got placed. For the CSE branch students, there were 100% placements. The highest salary package of 13 LPA and the average salary package of 5 LPA are offered in our college. Many students get placed every year in various companies like Infosys, Microsoft, Bosch, etc. Finally, we have good placements here.

This is not what we expected from the top university.

Placements: Placements are offered only for the CSE branch, and that too only for Amrita Main Campus students. The eligibility criteria for other branches is CGPA more than 8; then only they are considered to attend the interviews. Almost 90% of the CSE students were placed in this year. A good number of students got internships. For ECE and other branches, the offers were less as compared to CSE.

College to a non ambitious students.

Placements: Placements are less but the way they train us placements is quite different. They won't teach us the practical knowledge. Cir department tries hard to make all of us clear the first aptitude and verbal rounds. But they won't concentrate on technical rounds.

From the Alumnus of Amrita.

Placements: Talking on a broader approximation Amrita has above 90% placement in B.Tech, the course I attended here. CSE has the highest package placements when compared with other branches. ECE, MEC, EEE and EIE respectively in the order of high number placements as per the branches. The variety or genre of job profile is also impressive, there are managerial job, core Jos, and mass-recruiter. Bangalore being the hub of start-up, there is also recent recruitment in startups providing a job profile to the s...

Placements are very good. There are average infrastructure and hostel facilities.

Placements: During our batch, all the students who were eligible for placements got placed. We had almost 97% success in placements. Our senior batch also had the same range of success rate. Majority of them got placed in IBM, CTS and Infosys, and also many got placed in core companies.

I am not satisfied. There are good infrastructure and extracurricular activities.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. Students can be placed if they have communication skills and good aptitude skills with some technical knowledge about the course. But can't expect a high salary. Placements for seniors were good. Now, it is very difficult to get placed in a company. It's very hard to meet the company's expectation. The highest and the lowest salaries depend upon the students' skills. If you are really talented, you will get your appreciation, so don't worry about that.

I expected a lot from college when I entered college, but the college didn't satisfy my needs.

Placements: Placements were conducted well in our college in the past because of the good quality companies and good students. But in the following year, it started decreasing maybe because of the decrease in students quality. But in Amrita it always depends on students if students are interested and hardworking they get a good job. In Amrita lot of students get selected in IT companies, and very few students get selected for the core jobs. It all depends on the student's interest and hard work they put int...

The college has really interactive faculty members and wardens.

Placements: Many seniors got placed with a salary package of around 4 to 6 LPA from our college. The highest salary package of around 12 LPA and the lowest salary package of around 3 LPA are offered in our college. Infosys, TCS, Bosch, CTS, Honey Well and many other renowned companies visited our college for recruitment. As the placements are still in progress, and I don't know how many students got placed. Less number of students got internships, and among them, many students are from the computer science ...
