Is Andhra University College of Engineering good for M.E/M.Tech?

Here's a summary of the feedback from various students and alumni:

* Teaching Quality: Teachers are generally well-qualified and knowledgeable, but some may not be helpful or prioritize self-study over classroom learning.
* Course Curriculum: The curriculum is relevant, but might not prepare students adequately for industry demands. Practicals could be improved to enhance student understanding.
* Placement Opportunities: Unfortunately, placement opportunities for M.E/M.Tech students are limited. Only a handful of students managed to find jobs during the study period.
* Infrastructure: While the infrastructure is good, hostels' conditions are poor, and the food served is average. Medical facilities are decent, but Wi-Fi connectivity issues exist.
* Campus Life: Extracurricular activities and cultural events are prevalent, making campus life enjoyable.

In conclusion, while Andhra University College of Engineering has its strengths, particularly in terms of faculty qualifications and resources, its limitations in providing adequate placement opportunities for M.E/M.Tech students and subpar hostel facilities need attention. Our faculty members are very experienced and good and help every student.
Placements: From the 4th semester, they start to provide students with placement training. Many companies like IBM, Zomato, Bosch, etc., visited the college. The highest salary package offered is 50 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Almost 97% of students get placed. For the engineering computer science branch, the fee structure is about Rs. 2,50,000. For the 21st batch, we have this fee but as batches increase for the 23rd batch, it will be Rs. 3,50,000 per year. It won't increase for the 21 batch.
Infrastructure: Labs are good with a minimum fee structure. Our college fee is low compared to other colleges. The college library has a wide range of book collections including different reference books, textbooks, journals, research papers, previous year question papers, competitive exams books, story books, comics, etc. The college has a digital library with access to different learning sites. It provides well-equipped labs and also projectors for every classroom. There is free Wi-Fi. There are many clubs and groups in the college such as NSS, Together We Can, Street Case, Achievers Club, IIC, CSI, IEEE, GDSC, etc. These clubs are running actively in the college.
Faculty: There are more faculty members for every branch and course. They have knowledge about their subjects. They have a good grip on subjects and teach well. We can clarify any doubt at any time. The college is good. The education system is also good with the proper faculty members and other things.
Other: The college fest named Cursors is conducted in March every year.

It’s a good college. Faculty and infrastructure are best. It is an NAAC A+ grade college.
Placements: Around 80% of students got placed in many companies. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA-15 LPA, the average salary package offered is 5 LPA-6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3.36 LPA. Recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, Accenture, and Cognizant. Roles offered are associate system engineer, associate software engineer, and junior software developer.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Labs are equipped with Wi-Fi. Library offers loan books, and reading books. Computerized library section is available. Hostel is quite good enough with the required facilities. Each department has an individual canteen. Sports and games initiatives are taken by conducting competitions for students.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, with many holding Ph.D. degrees. Their way of teaching is extraordinary and easy to understand. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are a bit tough, but if we attend the class regularly we can definitely score good marks. Pass percentage is 95%.
Other: I'm interested in networking so I chose this course. The course is designed well but needs more advanced topics like quantum computing. Our college conducts various events across the year, such as campus fests, department days, and cultural events. Government scholarship is available.

I like the teaching by every department's faculty.
Placements: Various job offers were given to students. Companies like Microsoft, Deloitte, Direct, IBM Research lab, OYO Rooms, Goldman Sachs, Flipkart, Myntra, Samsung Research Lab, TCS Innovation lab, Walmart, TCS, Reliance Industries Ltd, ICICI bank, American Express recruited students at respectable positions. The highest package offered was Rs. 42 Lacs and average salary package offered was Rs. 16-19 Lacs. Students were placed at positions like Application Developed BDA, Computer Operator, Client Serve Systems Manager etc.
Infrastructure: Hostels here are pretty bad and the fee is too much for this. There will be one hostel for only 1st years and another hostel for 2nd,3rd,4th years. There will be no washing machines in both junior and senior hotels. The menu here is boring and coming to taste it is average. I rented a PG near the college it's quite convenient compared to the college hostel, the food here is okay, and monthly I pay 6500 here which saves a lot of money. Hostel Fee is INR 85000 per year.
Faculty: This 2-year course provides students with in-depth knowledge and skills required in the computer Science field. The course areas such as safe and secure systems, system integration, distributed and embedded systems, network, software engineering, system on chip, and digital systems which help to develop problem-solving abilities, and organizational skills.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty and placements.
Placements: Almost 70% of students got placed in several structural design companies. The top package offered is 12 LPA, and the lowest package is 4.5 LPA. L&T and MVV constructions are the most recruiting companies. Almost 45% of students got internships in some Dubai companies. Structural, quality and design engineer roles are the top roles offered in our course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities in our department are good. We have a great library with books to learn and computers with Wi-Fi to surf the internet to learn new things. The classrooms are super ventilated and soundproof. Hotel rooms are good in our college, but the wardens are the worst, and the food is not so good.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and experienced. They are very helpful and teach us in a way that we can understand better. The course curriculum is relevant and offers many opportunities to get into the industry. Semester exams are a bit tough because the papers are prepared in a way that students learn everything.
Other: I am interested in construction and design, so this course helps me understand the structure design better. I think it would be better to have some practicals as it helps us in the industry. AU is known for its fests, events and many extracurricular activities, like sports, NCC, NSS etc.

The campus life at AU is satisfactory and memorable.
Placements: It has placements mainly for B.Tech students, and as we were M.Tech there was very little scope in getting placed. Some have joined in internships from Wipro and DRDO. Few of us tried to get placed through pools conducted outside. Some got placed with a salary package of 5 LPA and a few students got placed with a salary package of 2 LPA.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and infrastructure were good but were old. I can say the library was one of the best in the country. All the facilities were good including medical. The food was served in the canteen. But Wi-Fi bandwidth was not great, we cannot rely on that when needed at peak time. Wi-Fi was unpredictable. Except that, the campus life was good.
Faculty: All the professors were outstanding, but most of them were neglected because we were studying M.Tech, and mostly self-learning is the priority. Still, some of them were very professional and tried to complete the syllabus. The course was related and very useful. Exams were easy, but scores were disappointing.
Other: There were many fests held, and there was something always happening for sure on the campus. It had a large ground and a beach nearby. You can enjoy it a lot.

Our college is good. Teachers do not come to classes regularly. Remaining everything is fine.
Placements: Only 4 companies visited here to offer placements for the civil engineering branch, but it is not the specialisation branch. Mainly, L&T, Aarvee Associates and Jindal Steel visited here and selected B.Tech students. These companies are not suitable for particular specialisations. I will suggest you to join in NEERI.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good here, and the department library is excellent. The atmosphere in the hostel is good, and only one canteen is available here. The quality of the food served in the hostel mess is not bad and just average. Every hostel block contains volleyball and badminton court. I think there are no medical facilities.
Faculty: The knowledge of teachers is excellent here. They are highly qualified. Some teachers provide good notes, but some teachers are not up to the mark. Generally, they do not come to classes regularly. My friends and I gathered in a room and discussed the classes.
