Review of Arasu Engineering College.
Placements: The placements are very poor. No big companies came here, and only small data entry companies came for campus interviews. The salary offered is only 6,000-8,000 per month. Many students are not interested in placements because the companies aren't good, and they offer very low packages.
Infrastructure: We are strictly not allowed to use mobiles and two wheelers in college. There is no Wi-Fi. Labs are very small, and the staff are very few. Food is not up to the mark. They don't offer non-vegetarian foods. There are no well-trained sports staff. The management is not willing to encourage sports. There are no medical facilities.
Faculty: The faculty are not well-trained. Only freshers are working here as teachers. There are no experienced teachers. They follow and teach only the syllabus, and it is very difficult to work in companies with limited knowledge. After passing out, we only know that this knowledge is not enough to face the company interviews, and I personally faced this difficulty. The pass percentage is average. Semester exams are very difficult.
Other: I am very much interested in the electrical field because we can't live without electricity now, so this field has good scope. The academic syllabus is not enough to go to the industries. We need to grow practically. So, they teach practically and also technically. They need to arrange more industrial visits, and it also helps us improve our knowledge. The college should provide the placement training and concentrate on this area.

Really good infrastructure and facility.
Placements: 1.75% of students placed. 2. Maximum 16000 minimum 9000 salary offered. 3. Bosch, Hcl, Chennai metro, top star, Karur visiya bank were the recruiters. 40,000 is average fees of semester. 50% students placed in top star company.
Infrastructure: Mobile phone and bike is not allowed in college campus. The college buses come from all surrounding areas. Library and lab also good, campus infrastructure was awesome. Wi-Fi free for all lab. Boys hostel is inside of college. Canteen is better. Sports was good.
Faculty: All staff are qualified. Only postgraduate and Ph.D. faculties are there. The faculty are friendly. Teaching quality is good.
Other: I am interested in electrical engineering so I chose this course.

A good college for those students who concentrate only on studies and nothing else.
Placements: The placement is a little bit poor in my college. There are some companies hired students, but the core companies for engineering students did not come. There is a placement officer in my college. He is working hard to get more placement in the college. No one student went for internships.
Infrastructure: The classrooms, library and lab facilities are very good at Arasu Engineering College. There is no facility for the medical. The hostel rooms are very good and well maintained. The canteen food is somewhat poor. At the infrastructure side, there is no issue. Wi-Fi facility will be available in 2 months.
Faculty: The lecturers are very good, and their teaching quality is good. They teach students from the basic level, but their teaching methods are poor because they handle students as school students. The faculty and the industry exposure are pretty good. The course curriculum is only based on completing the syllabus and theory classes.
Other: The scholarships are availed by only students who came from Anna University counselling. Some events are conducted like Symposiums, workshops and sport day events.

Well satisfying college for parents as well as students with the silent environment for students.
Placements: The placement of this college is a little bit poor. There is a placement cell in the college. They try to get more placements for students and working hard for that. Nearly, 70% of the students are placed, and the salary range is nearly 12k per month. IDBI, Tech Mahindra, etc., come to the college.
Infrastructure: The classrooms and library facilities are very good. The library contains enough books for students and also contain more journals. There is no Wi-Fi on the college campus, and the mobile phone is restricted to the students. The lab facility is very good. The canteen facility is somewhat poor. The hostel facility is good. The medical facility is available. Every year, Symposiums, workshops and other events are conducted by all the departments. The students avail their government scholarships.
Faculty: Only M.E and PhD lecturers are working in the college. The teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching method is somewhat poor. They have more theoretical knowledge rather than practical knowledge. There are nearly 20 faculty members for 150 students.

An institute with average placements and good infrastructure.
Placements: The placements for the students were average, and the placement officer was not that good to bring more companies to the campus. It was a recession in the market, so we couldn't get proper placements. However, some of the students got placed in better companies.
Infrastructure: The campus was not enabled with Wi-Fi until then, but now, it is. There was proper internet connectivity for students. The library has a good collection of books along with an online library. Classrooms were digitised.
Faculty: Our college offers both under-graduation and post-graduation courses. They recently started offering post-graduation courses. A few faculty members were extremely talented in providing you with practical teaching and extraordinary skills in demonstrating the theories. They used remote teaching and provide live examples.
