Dissatisfied because of the management, they charge some amount for every issue .
Placements: 30 % of the girls got placed in mobile manufacturing company, None of the boys got placed through the campus interview None of the core companies or IT based companies came to select us some of us got placed through walking jobs, they don't even allow you to attend internships .
Infrastructure: To be honest the labs are okay, but coming to the facilities they provide in classroom is the worst there is only one projector is present for the entire ECE dept, they doesn't have any power backup and I'm a day scholar but my friends some of them are hostellers the rooms they provide is not up to even the basic level, and coming to the food they provide is not hygiene and it doesn't have any taste at all, there is a hospital nearby if anything happens to the student they give first aid to them in that hospital only, college is little bit far from the city area and a single 4 stack building is for the whole engineering, I'm a footballer but if we have any unit test they doesn't provide on duty or any exemption to play any matches and they have only one ground for all the sport .
Faculty: Staffs are good and professional but they don't support you when you need them, and they teach only the lessons and they don't even teach other things like other coding or managerial things, the pass percentage may be 50% mostly get clears subjects.
Other: I had chosen this because I had a big craze in gadgets and had a idea of implementing a small radio station around my campus but it ended up in nothing, they need to teach other things basically might have to update the teaching proficiency apart from that they conduct 2 events for entire dept a symposium and a freshers day, sports day and cultural for the entire college scholarships for sc and st students and they guide them to how to get their scholarships .

Review of Indra Ganesan College of Engineering.
Placements: I got placed in JD Software Pvt., Ltd., as a software programmer through on-campus interviews. From my junior batch (2018) of B.Tech, the IT students got placed through on-campus drives. Apart from this, I also got an offer in HCL Technologies as L1- network engineer. During my tenure, I had been served as a Microsoft student partner. The number of companies and placement percentage are gradually increasing every academic year.
Infrastructure: The library and labs are well-equipped with proper access for entry. The college provides new modernised bus and students can even get their bike if they have the driving license. The college has an air-conditioned seminar hall. Classrooms and restrooms are well maintained and cleaned at regular intervals. The auditorium is very good.
Faculty: Technology has been gradually increasing, so you can do mini as well as major projects in proper and respective training sessions. It's been 2 years I passed out, I am still in touch with the faculty members. You can even get proper appointment with higher dignitaries, in case if you face any issue.
Other: If you feel that you can't afford so much and want to go for higher studies, Indra Ganesan is the right choice.

If you are only concerned about studies, then it is a good college.
Placements: Our college invites many companies for placements. The salary offered will be Rs. 10,000-12,000 per month. Our staff members also support well for our campus placement process. There is a placement cell in each department which help us to clear all the first and second rounds like aptitude and technical. Even communication improvement session is conducted.
Infrastructure: The college provides good Wi-Fi facility and classrooms. But there is a poor medical facility, and we are not allowed to participate in sports and games. The quality of the food served in the canteen is better, but the laboratory is not well equipped. Even they provide a few types of equipment for testing. Our campus is very small. However, the only good thing is that each floor has a restroom and drinking water facility, and we don't need to travel for one block to another.
Faculty: There is less number of faculty members in our department. However, their quality of teaching is good. All the staff members are helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Even we can express our ideas and questions. We went to ISRO Satellite Centre at Bangalore as an industrial exposure which is very useful for us to learn a lot of things. They provide good guidance at the right time.
Other: We conduct many technical events in our departments like project expo, Tech Bee, and symposium. But we get only a short period of time for these activities. They only concentrate on studies, so there are no permissions for other activities except for a few students who get good results.

Joining this college is really a waste of time.
Placements: The placements are poor for 2017 batch. If you have the capability to stand on your own you can or else you cannot. Steps will be taken but the worth of the staff and students will not set for it which means the preparation level was very bad. They are not worried about students career.
Infrastructure: The labs will not have enough systems as well as configuration. Poor maintenance of lab and systems. It is not a well-suited server. They will use a single building for all purposes, but toilets are well-cleaned and hygienic. There were proper in cleaning classrooms. They need a lot more improvements.
Faculty: The staff count is not enough. Even some staffs were not aware of some project-oriented concepts. There will not be proper guidance on projects. If you wish to expose your talents, there will be opportunities provided only if you are outstanding.

If you have to study, engineering don't take this college. There are a lot of colleges in Trichy.
Placements: The placements are not good for my batch only some small industries came to the campus. In that one company selected us and asked Rs. 3000 as the initial amount, we paid that, but we don't have the job in that company then our college refunded that money. Then some BPO companies are hiring us. Our senior batch placement is much better than us. The salary ranges from 8k per month-15k per month.
Infrastructure: In college advertisement, they tell 24 hours Wi-Fi facility and AC labs are available, but we don't have a single fan in our lab it is under the asbestos sheet with demo machines. The classrooms are not bad, sports and games are the worst in our college our management doesn't give importance to sports During our sports day only players allowed to ground others stay in class and write tests. The canteen food is not good, but the price is less. The hostel rooms are in un-hygienic condition.
Faculty: The teachers are soo friendly with us that is the only goodness in my college. All staff members are well-knowledge except some, but they are not much experienced and qualified. Their teaching skills are something different from others. The head of our department is a good person he helped us in studies, internship, etc.
Other: The main fest in our college is IGNITE. It is colourful, and we enjoyed it a lot then symposium. That one day we enjoy a lot. A lot of development and social events are conducted in our college.

The worst engineering college in Tiruchi based on the infrastructure, placement, exposure, faculty.
Placements: Here, only the placement cell is available not the placements. In my batch, the percentage of the placements is 0%, as no one got placed in any company. There is no company visited the college. The only company visited this college is the marketing company, they asked 1 lack as an initial amount to train the students for the placement.
Infrastructure: There are 2 buildings with the worst infrastructure. The classrooms, lab, and library are bad and damaged. The cardboard separates the classrooms, if we hit, it breaks. The windows are closed by using the fibreglass, so the ventilation is bad. There are no fans, bad drinking water facilities, no machines in the labs, no proper books in the library. A single ground is used for football, cricket, atheletics, bus parking, surveying, functions, programs, etc.
Faculty: The faculty members working here is my previous batch passed out students, they don't have enough knowledge to teach us then how we learn. Bad methods are used and treat us like school children, studies, punishment, coaching test, and re-test. They produce unqualified engineers and don't give any industrial exposure. Their only aim is to pass the students and earn money.
Other: Don't choose this college, if u choose this college your life is spoiled. There are many good engineering colleges in Trichy, go there and save your life. I join in this college with lots of dreams and love, but all got damaged. Don't spoil your life by joining in this college. The fee is less in this college, but this college is not worth the one rupee.
