Review of Bachelor of computer applications, AEC.
Placements: I'm in my 2nd year, and this year very few got placed in my department due to the semester results that got published after the on-campus interview, due to which many students who got selected lost the opportunity, and there were some students who didn't join the companies even after getting selected due to a very low stipend, and most of them preferred to further study in a Masters.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good, filled with greenery all around; there is plenty of stress planted with a beautiful central garden; the labs are well maintained; and most of the professors used to teach in the most modern way. Also, our college provides FSP training that is very beneficial for an individual to get selected for a job, training on aptitude, reasoning, English, and technical skills. The food quality in the canteen is poor, the basis is not well maintained, and there are very few
Faculty: The college used to take four internal exams and two semester exams per year. Our college engages us in all kinds of skills, ensuring an individual does not just mug up some knowledge but learns it in depth. But there used to be an abundance of assignments and projects, due to which we couldn't manage our self-study while keeping balance with college work.
Other: The best part of our college is the events they host. They engage us in all kinds of fields, say sports, coding, photography, art, writing, dance, hardware club events, and many more. They also provide scholarships to the needy.

Our college does not provide good placements, but you can take admission if you want a college life.
Placements: About 40-45 out of 112 students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Hexagon, Tech Mahindra, etc., visit our campus. Almost 60-70% of students get internships.
Infrastructure: Our college provides good facilities and infrastructure. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus, but it gives only 35 MB for use. Labs are good. All books are available in the library. There are no issues with borrowing books. All types of sports, games, and medical facilities are available.
Faculty: Our teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. They help students get over all the problems in their studies. The course curriculum is relevant. Students focused on their studies get many more opportunities and jobs in their target companies.
Other: I chose this course to become an app developer. Every year, our college organises a fest for 2 days. We enjoy it a lot.

AEC is any good? Know about BCA department, before your admission.
Placements: I'm in my final year. In my whole BCA batch till now only 8 students are placed (today is 3rd April). After 2 months we will have our semesters. Placements are really bad in our department. Although for B.Tech it's not so bad, but not so good either. For BCA, the highest package will be 4 LPA, the lowest will be 1.7 LPA. For recruiters till now only have seen TCS, Delloitte, Wipro. For internships one has to try on his own. No college support will be there. Top roles offered will be Software Engineer.
Infrastructure: Labs are available, but can't say about proper equipments. Classrooms are available, but can't say about proper benches and desks. Libraries are available, but can't say about proper books. Canteen is above average. Food is good. Sports are encouraged, only encouraged. No financial support. You and your team have to go for tournaments on your own. Hostels are available, but staying in PG is much better and affordable.
Faculty: In our department previously, there were many good teachers/professors. But currently, there are only 2-3 good teachers left. The rest just left the college for better ones. The remaining ones who teach us are either inexperienced or too lazy to teach properly. Students aren't industry-ready, but they manage somehow. Semester exams are easy. The pass percentage is about 40%. But if you write in exams well, you will be able to achieve at least 60% easily.
Other: Campus life is good. I have met friends whom I will remember till death, that I can say. But, college doesn't support Fest. It only cares about things such as Hardware Clubs, NSS only because of some political agenda. The college only supports B.Tech students. We could clearly SEE they don't care about BCA, MCA, B.Sc., BBA students at all. These students are money printing machines, whose money will be used by B.Tech students to do seminars, FSPs, Events, and all. Funny thing to note is that, in the college's official website there's no mention of BCA degree at all. THIS COLLEGE IS GOOD ONLY IF YOU WANT TO ENJOY YOUR COLLEGE LIFE BY MAKING SOME GOOD FRIENDS. BUT, NOT SO GOOD FROM THE EDUCATIONAL PERSPECTIVE.
