What is NAT?

NAT is abbreviated for National Admission Test conducted by Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology (APIIT). The institute offers admission to Bachelor of Technology (BTech), BTech (LEET), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA). Candidates seeking admission must meet the eligibility criteria. BTech Admission to 50% seats (including 15% All India Category seats) will be granted by the Haryana State Counseling Society through 'ONLINE OFF CAMPUS' Centralized Counseling based on JEE Main score. The remaining 50% seats shall be filled at the institute level. Merit list shall be prepared based upon: JEE Main score or 12th marks. MBA admission will be made through merit list prepared based MAT/CMAT scores. If seats remain vacant then direct Admissions may be granted based upon graduation marks merit list. NAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria should be met by all candidates looking for admission through NAT 2023. The admission authority will not accept the application form of non-eligible candidates. NAT eligibility criteria vary from programme to programme. The details are available below.

Course Eligibility Criteria
Bachelor of Technology (BTech) Candidates should have passed Class 12 from recognized Board / University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of the subjects Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Computer Science
BTech LEET

Candidates must have passed 3 years Diploma in Engineering/Technology course from an AICTE approved Institution with at least 45% marks (42.75% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category i.e. SC / ST category) or

Candidates must have passed 3 years BSc Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with mathematics as a subject, with 45% (42.75% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category i.e. SC / ST category) marks

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Candidates should have passed Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (10+2) from any recognized Board/University with at least five subjects including English as one of the main subject.
Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA)
Master of Business Administration (MBA) Candidate should have passed minimum 3 Years duration of recognized Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with not less than 50% marks (47.5% pass marks in case of Scheduled Castes/Tribes candidates) or an examination recognized as equivalent by the Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra.

NAT 2023 Admission Procedure

Course Admission Procedure
Bachelor of Technology (BTech)

Admission to 50% seats shall be made by Haryana State Technical Education Society through 'ONLINE OFF CAMPUS' Centralized Counseling based on JEE Main Merit Ranking.

The remaining 50% seats shall be filled based on the merit prepared for JEE Main score or Class 12 marks.

BTech LEET

Admission to 50% seats shall be made by Haryana State Technical Education Society through 'ONLINE OFF CAMPUS' Centralized Counseling based on JEE Main Merit Ranking.

Remaining 50% seats are reserved for Management Quota and will be allotted on Merit of Diploma / BSc marks.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Candidates will be admitted based on Class 12 marks merit list
Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA)
Master of Business Administration (MBA)

MBA admission will be done through merit list prepared on the basis of MAT/CMAT Scores.

Direct Admissions may be granted subject to the availability of seats based upon graduation marks merit list.
