ACJ Entrance Exam Counselling 2025: The Asian College of Journalism will release the dates for the ACJ counselling after the declaration of the results. Candidates qualifying in the ACJ exam 2025, will be called for the counselling round. Shortlisted candidates will have to be present on the campus at the time of counselling else the seat will be allocated to another candidate. Once the classes commence, students will have to submit their original documents. The candidates selected will have to appear according to the schedule released by the institute.

Documents to Carry During ACJ Entrance Exam Counselling

Candidates should bring the below mentioned documents in original and photocopies:

Class 10 mark sheet and certificate

Category certificate (if applicable)

Class 12 mark sheet and certificate

Income certificate for SC/ST/OBC

Graduation mark sheet and certificate

Self-attested photocopies of all documents

Migration certificate

Date of birth certificate

ACJ Cut-off List

The Asian College of Journalism generally releases a cut-off list where students who have appeared for the ACJ Entrance Exam, need to meet the cut-off in order to be eligible for admission once the two rounds have been conducted. Based on the cut-off, merit lists are prepared. Candidates will be ranked according to the marks secured in the entrance exam and interview round. Candidates who have more marks than the cut-off, are eligible for admission. The cut-off is decided on the following factors:

  • Number of Seats
  • Number of candidates who appeared for the entrance exam
  • Reservation norms
  • Last year cut-off
  • Difficulty level

ACJ Entrance Exam Counseliing Fee Structure

The tuition fee for the ACJ postgraduate programme in Integrated Multimedia Journalism, is INR 4,60,200/- inclusive of GST @ 18%. Candidates admitted to the programme should lock in their seats within 7 days with an advance payment of INR 1,00,000/- The balance amount of INR 3,60,200/- should be paid in two equal installments, according to the following schedule:

ACJ Fee Structure

First instalment of Fee on or before first week of June, 2025

INR 1,80,100/-

Final installment of fee on or before second week of June, 2025

INR 1,80,100/- 

Note: Please note that no request for refund of fees will be entertained. Once a candidate is admitted the seat allotted to him or her stands filled. Please note that fees once paid will not be refunded even if the candidate does not join the course.

No, you must produce a printed copy of the ACJ Entrance Exam admit card at the exam centres. You also have to show a valid photo ID like your Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Driver's License, etc. at the exam centres.

No, there is no descriptive or subjective section in the ACJ Entrance Exam. It is a computer based test with only MCQ type questions. Candidates must enter their responses to these questions within a time frame of two hours.
