This college is not up to the mark in quality of teaching. Lab instructors do not teach well. Classes are not conducted as per schedule. Placement is pathetic and no good companies visit the college. Majority of the placements happen in pool campus in some other college, where preference is given to their college students. Pre-placement preparation is also unsatisfactory. Only B.com students get preference, while students of other branches suffer due to ineffective management.
The faculty in the college is one of the best you'd find across the University. During my time here, most of the professors I worked with were really supportive and cooperative. There was sufficient room available to take initiative, which helped me establish the Debating Society in year 1 and then found the Commerce Society in my final year. One key thing to note is that most of the administration staff is highly irritating and incompetent. But that's a common thing across the whole of DU.
Placements: Placements are not good in this college. Students have to go for off-campus placements. The highest placement offered is 12 LPA, while the lowest is 3.5 LPA. Companies come here for the roles of accountant, data analyst, and salesperson. Most people prefer higher education. Top recruiting companies are Deloitte, KPMG, Byjus, etc.
Placements: Some students got jobs, but I attended only one internship fair and it was not that good so I didn't attend another. There were some companies in internship fair but they were not that good. We did get the call backs but not entirely satisfied.
Placements: Placements in our college were not that good. Many companies visit our college, but they don't offer a good salary package. Students also lacked in skills. B.Com students can sit in all the companies. Orientation programme is not much provided, and there is a lack of awareness. Mostly, call centre jobs are provided.
