Good college with good fee structure.

Placements: 80% students are placed in CTS, Bosch, Infosys, Capgemini, Think & Learn, Keeves, Genpact, IBM, Hitachi etc. Sallery offered varies from 2 Lacs to 4.5 Lacs per annum. Internship offered more or less 20k per month by some of these companies. College also arranges some test on employbility like AMCAT etc. To make them placed.

Good faculty members not well placements growing quality infrastructures.

Placements: Well placed till 3 4 years back. Recentky some companies are not coming. May be its trump effect. Otherwise the students are not efficiently completing the course. I don't MAT be college issues matters for this. Companies take money while coming and this college refuses to pay a good amount.

Satisfied with the faculty members and friends but disheartened because of the Infrastructure.

Placements: 2018 placement was relatively lower than other years. 2 years back 92% students had secured on-campus jobs, but after that, the percentage started decreasing. Maybe it happened because of the sudden fall in the IT market, but college has started providing some training on aptitude and coding interview questions. If you don't attend it, you won't get a job and even if you attend you won't get the job. Hope it'll rise again.

Keep this college as a last option during counselling.

Placements: In 2017, Only 50 students got placed in the whole college. The placements are getting worse in these years. There are negligible placements in the electrical department. The strikes are common in 4th year for not getting successfully placed. The placements were good in the former period but getting the worst in due time.

Bad placement at BPPIMT in 2018.

Placements: Unlike last year, this year the placement scenario is not at all good. Infact, most of the students are still unplaced. The companies visiting our college are mostly IT companies, of which the notable ones are CTS, Capgemini, Ernst&Young. Apart from those, there was recruitment in the marketing and sales sector, even jobs for content writing. Others were mostly pooled drives. Several companies just provided internships and no job guarantee. From IT and CSE streams, about 50% students have been b...

Cultural fest in every 2 years.

Placements: The placements for the senior batch was really good, but with the arrival of new placement officers and their inability to bring mass recruiters this year's placement has become the worst. A lot of companies are not mass recruiting this year, and so we are suffering but these officers do not have any alternative ideas, and as a result, we are suffering.

An above average college for an average Indian student.

Placements: I got placed with Cognizant Technology Solutions (mass recruiter here). Among other companies that came for on-campus placement were ITC Infotech, Odessa Technologies and some others. The average salary offered is 3.3 LPA by these companies. The roles offered to new hires after 3-4 months of training varied from production support, application development and mobility to name a few.

Good for the CSE students. If you want to select the core stream then don't choose this college.

Placements: Until my batch, the placement was good. Approximately 65% students got placed. The average salary package offered is Rs. 3.3 LPA. The companies which visit our campus are Cognizant, Capgemini and E&Y. No internship is provided in this college. For the placement, there were no core companies that came. Only IT companies visited the campus.

Dissatisfied with faculty and placements.

Placements: In our batch(2012-2016), 55% of students were placed in different MNCs like Cognizant, Capgemini, EY, etc. The highest salary package was offered by EY(Ernst & Young) which is 3.5 lakhs per annum and the lowest was offered by Edusurge BPO which is 1.8 lakhs per annum. On an average, it was about 2.5 Lakhs per annum. Companies offered us different posts like system engineer maintenance engineer, software engineer, customer executive, etc.

Honest review: Not the exact value for money.

Placements: Talking about placements, our college always brings many decent companies every year. Every year, the percentage of placed student always retains at around 75-80%. Although they might provide you the information printed in their brochure, about 92-95% guaranteed placements, but this is not the actual case. Also, it will be better not to expect any high-end company (e.g. Microsoft, Accenture etc.), both growth opportunity and pay-scale wise. But you can hope for many renowned multinational corpor...

Good placements, infrastructure, faculty.

Placements: 90-92 percent placements were offered last year. TCS, CTS, Infosys etc (IT companies) are more likely to visit since it is near to the IT center of Bengal. As the college provides industrial training to different companies it is not difficult to get into a good job in campus placements.

As a student of BPPIMT, I would say that for my rank (around 10000), BPPIMT is really good. Its teaching quality is average. You will have to do some studying on your own for completing the course, as faculty members can't complete the whole syllabus. Semester fees is around 30-40 thousand. For CS students, placement is around 70-80%. Mass recruiter is CTS. For CS, your starting salary will vary from 20-35 thousand. If you are thinking to take CS, then go for it. But I would personally recommend...

This is a sincere request to everyone who hopes to join engineering in my college. This is a college without a ground and the building is nested amidst apartments, the level of teaching by the faculty members is below average but one can have a serious try at the placements irrespective of the marks you have got during semester exams.

Location wise, the college is located in proximity to Kolkata Airport. Although, the campus is not at all big (just 3 buildings), but you have a lot of places to visit and have fun. From learning perspective, the faculty members are good. The college is strict in terms of attendance. Companies such as CTS, Infosys etc. are a regular recruiter.

It is a fair college, among top 10 in Kolkata with plenty of support provided by college in activities apart from studies. If one is looking for a fair job after completion of graduation BPPIMT is not a bad choice, if there is no other option left. Professors are average.

Faculty: very good and friendly. Environment: Not so good. Authority understands nothing but money Facility: Extreme bad. Internet connection is very poor extracurricular activity: Tech fest, Language fest etc. Principal: Friendly and helpful Registrar: Friendly Trusties: "Who the hell are you" attitude Placement: Extreme bad. Only one / two companies will come to recruit the largest number of students (100). If u miss that u missed every chance to get into a good company from campus interviews....

My college was a very cool place. The faculty and study was average. One of the biggest drawbacks were the unavailability of a playground. The campus placement depends regarding the current scenario of the market. So we can't call it bad. It will be better if our college can attract some ex professors of IITs. The canteen, the common room are quite good and always happening.

The college is good. The faculty is helpful and highly educated but the college doesn’t put much effort in getting the students placed. The location of the college is perfect for its students but the campus is not big enough for other activities like sports. The thing I disliked most about the college is its exam and the TPO cell.
