A good college with a nice place and people to interact. The faculty and placements are good.

Placements: The placements are neither too good nor too bad. Several companies came last year for campus placements. Only 50% of the students are placed (approximately). The college gives most of the placements to IT branches. This college also provides several placements to core branches. In the last year, core branches got very good placements. Several famous construction companies come for placements. Most of the students have the job before final semester. The placement occurs in the final year mostly i...

Review of Bankura Unnayani Institute of Engineering

Placements: There are ordinary placements and the college is still in its growing stage. Companies do visit our campus but they are mostly IT firms. A few core companies also visit our campus. Top students of every batch bag jobs from core companies. It really depends on you, how you study, and your capabilities and skills. Overall, decent placement.

BUIE- A journey worth taking when considering WBUT

Placements: 50% placements with average CTC below par. Not up to the mark. It needs to improve a lot in the T&P department. It should start with a good placement cell and will require a lot of effort from the authority as well. The focus should be on quality management rather than ticking the boxes in the chart. On campus visiting companies lack the level it should be, making the future of 50% candidates tough ahead. One can easily rate the placement records on the basis of the number of candidates that are...

Good placements in 2015. Only faculty are somewhat inexperienced. A good environment is there

Placements: Up to 50% seniors are placed. In my batch, up to 60% placements are done. The lowest salary offered is 1.25 lacs per annum and the highest offered is 3.25 lacs. Companies which visited in my time are Amtech, Spunmicro and Accord Tools. I think no internship has been provided to anyone in my college.

A college with a good infrastructure and low course fee but the placement is not good.

Placements: Nowadays, there are very few opportunities in core departments like electrical and mechanical. The job market is little better for IT & software department. Very few colleges are able to offer good placement. Our college is not on this list. In our batch, only one student from electrical engineering got a good job in Toshiba Transmission & Distribution System Pvt. Ltd. Otherwise, the placement team of our college is unable to offer core company jobs. All other offered jobs were for the software ...

My life in Bankura Unnayani Institute

Placements: The placement is quite good. I got placed in Kritika Communication from my college. Now a days, the college has become popular in placement as well as study. In my batch, there are more than 20 companies that visited and selected genuine students from our college.

A good college to pursue your engineering.

Placements: It provides one of the best placement in all over states comparison. In previous year 85% of our batch got placed. Most them got selected in reputed companies such as Tech Mahindra, IBM, Rashmi group, Larsen & Toubro, Wipro etc. Some them also get placed in startup companies. The average package was 2.5 lakhs and the highest was 4.2 lakhs.

We have a very good infrastructure with good lab equipment. Coming to faculty, it’s good except mechanical and electrical branch faculty members. Teachers of these two branches are not at all supportive like other branch teachers. They are just ruining lives of students. We have total of 2000+ students. And the environment to study is also good.

College is very good and its location is very good. It is situated in main Kolkata and for the infrastructure is very well constructed and for the most faculty is very good. Laboratory is very good and all the instrument is available here all the time. The students who want to take admission in this college can take. Best part of the college is that only girls can take admission and there life is secured.

The college is very good but its location is very bad and the atmosphere of hostel is good. The campusing is good. The faculty is supportive and best part is that our principal sir is great. Since he had joined the college, ragging is totally prohibited and students are attending the classes regularly.

My college is the best in only one thing and that is tuition fee relaxation. Second one, now a days really it provides the facility of Wi-Fi. And worst thing is no faculty is here who can give us a lecture without a chitchat. Best facility for the student of electrical engineering.

My college is little bit good. Fee structure was very low. There are two boys’ hostel, one girls’ hostel, one faculty hostel, and one guest house. College campus is very large. They have core stream as well as software department. Labs are very good. Only campusing was very bad. There held many fake campusing.

College is good. Hostel life was too good. But market is very far away from the hostel and. Transportation facility includes local buses (typical ones) else taxi/auto (fare Rs. 200). So transportation is not good at all. The hostel's nearby place is not safe as it is far away from the main road. Hostel has no campus boundary (I don't know about the present situation) but college campus is comparatively good. Hostel campus includes girls and the boy’s hostel together with staff’s hostel and the h...

It is a good college for those students who believe in hard work.

Placements: Not many companies visited our campus for recruitment. But talented and good students got placement. Software companies visit our campus for placement, but they were not quite good in the way of salary. For mechanical engineering students, there were fewer core companies available, but our college was trying to do something about it.

It is a perfect place for engineering but not good to stay.

Placements: Though students should not consider placements as a medium to determine whether a college is good enough, even placements here are average. If you want to choose mechanical engineering, then it's the best place for you. Except in civil engineering, our college can give you the best you deserve.
