I am satisfied with this college in all aspects.

Placements: Almost 60% of students got placed in various companies. The highest salary package offered by companies ranges between 7 LPA - 8 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges between 4.5 LPA - 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered ranges between 2 LPA - 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies were some good startups and MNCs like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, etc. There were no on-campus internship opportunities in our college. We used to apply off-campus to get good internships. Top roles o...

It was a good journey as we gained knowledge and placements were average.

Placements: Our college is located in Bankura, so it provided us with a good culture for studying. In this college, I was admitted to the Bachelor of Technology degree in the Computer Science and Engineering stream. The on-campus placement was not so good, but we were able to find opportunities off-campus. For off-campus jobs, we had to apply ourselves. In our course, almost 60% of students were placed. The highest salary package offered was 7 LPA to 8 LPA. The average salary package offered was 4.5 LPA to ...

Absolutely satisfied; good environment; average placements; good curriculum.

Placements: Placements were not very popular. Few companies came for placement to the campus, but we can apply for off campus placements. 50-70% candidates were placed, attending both on and off campus placements. The candidates were offered 8 to 9 Lacs per annum as the highest package, 5 to 6 Lacs per annum as the average package and 3 to 4 Lacs per annum as the lowest package. The top recruiting companies were some startups, and some MNC companies like TCS, Capgemini, IBM, Wipro etc. The top roles offered...

If you need placement then for that student my opinion is not to take admission in this college.

Placements: Not good for placement. Here placement is given to the known person. The training and placement department is very bad the training department is not good and the faculty members of that department is not so goo. Here no core company visits. But only come for placement IT sector company.

I am dissatisfied with the quality of education, faculty members and assistance to placements.

Placements: Though most of our batchmates got jobs, there was no role of college in this matter. They brought fake companies which promised to give appointment letters but never did. If they did, it was a maximum of Rs. 10,000 with T&c applied. The college makes zero efforts to give students industry exposure which is very much needed in the IT sector. When asked to guide about internships, they can't give you enough information on how to crack off-campus jobs either.

It is the best college to study B.Tech.

Placements: Our college is average, so don't expect placements, internship or training from our college. From our batch, about 30% of the students got placed. There are no such fixed companies which visit our college. The highest salary offered in our college placements is Rs. 10,000 per month, so it's better to try for off-campus placements.

Good facility but average placement.

Placements: Its been average throughout the years. Around 50% students got placement over the years. Average salary package offered is 1.44 lacks per annum. Mantralab. Manav Energy Pvt Ltd. Odisha metallic. Etc. Basically graduate engineering trainee. Do not have much idea about students who got internship. There is a effective placement cell.

It's an average college, tuition fees is moderate. The place is great and close to nature.

Placements: The placements are very bad for mechanical, civil, and electrical. Computer science and ECE are still better. I got placed at Petron with 2.7 LPA package, but the did not send me the appointment letter. No MNCs are called, and there are a lot of fake companies and BPOs.

BUIE- A journey worth taking when considering WBUT

Placements: 50% placements with average CTC below par. Not up to the mark. It needs to improve a lot in the T&P department. It should start with a good placement cell and will require a lot of effort from the authority as well. The focus should be on quality management rather than ticking the boxes in the chart. On campus visiting companies lack the level it should be, making the future of 50% candidates tough ahead. One can easily rate the placement records on the basis of the number of candidates that are...

We have a very good infrastructure with good lab equipment. Coming to faculty, it’s good except mechanical and electrical branch faculty members. Teachers of these two branches are not at all supportive like other branch teachers. They are just ruining lives of students. We have total of 2000+ students. And the environment to study is also good.

The college is very good but its location is very bad and the atmosphere of hostel is good. The campusing is good. The faculty is supportive and best part is that our principal sir is great. Since he had joined the college, ragging is totally prohibited and students are attending the classes regularly.

My college is the best in only one thing and that is tuition fee relaxation. Second one, now a days really it provides the facility of Wi-Fi. And worst thing is no faculty is here who can give us a lecture without a chitchat. Best facility for the student of electrical engineering.

My college is little bit good. Fee structure was very low. There are two boys’ hostel, one girls’ hostel, one faculty hostel, and one guest house. College campus is very large. They have core stream as well as software department. Labs are very good. Only campusing was very bad. There held many fake campusing.

It is a good college for those students who believe in hard work.

Placements: Not many companies visited our campus for recruitment. But talented and good students got placement. Software companies visit our campus for placement, but they were not quite good in the way of salary. For mechanical engineering students, there were fewer core companies available, but our college was trying to do something about it.
