It is a college with good faculty members.
Placements: None of the students of civil engineering got placed from my batch. Students had to look for placements on their own. No company related to civil came here for placements. The roles are offered in site work, design work, quality check etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average. The food quality was good. Indoor and outdoor games were available. Gym is not available. The library contains the books of almost all the Indian authors during my tenure in the college. Classrooms were good, but smart classes were not available.
Faculty: The teachers were good and helpful. They were a bit knowledgeable. The teaching quality was average. The course curriculum was relevant. But they focus less on providing practical knowledge and personality development skills.

A college with good infrastructure.
Placements: I was a civil engineering student, and placements for my batch were not up to the mark. Hardly any company visited the college. Placements for other branches were okay. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 15,000 per month. There is a placement cell in the college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was good. Classrooms were neat and clean. Wi-Fi facility was available on the campus. Games like basketball, football, etc., were available in the college. The library was good with a vast collection of books. Medical facilities were available in the college.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college were well qualified and helpful. They were experienced. They provided us with practical knowledge along with theoretical knowledge. The faculty to student ratio was okay. Industrial visits were organised by the college once in a semester.

Review of Beehive College of Engineering and Technology (BCET, Dehradun).
Placements: Students were never called for campus placements, and not a single company visited our college, it was completely parallel to what they had promised students in the beginning, and then whoever asked about our college students used to tell them not to join, because they were not up to the mark with their promises.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was average, and the environment was good. The classrooms were good, and the library provided free course books till the end of the semester. But as promised campus Wi-Fi was not provided by this college. Equipment in the laboratory was not functional except for a few, and our laboratory assistants were not experienced. The hostel was good. I was a day scholar, and my friends stayed in the hostel. There were very few chances to play in this college.
Faculty: Teaching quality was optimal, some had lots of degrees but no knowledge and some were average in their field and that was normal in every institute. Few of them help students to prepare for entrance exams, but students were careless by that time so students could not grab that all. Our semester exams were very tough, it was hard to pass every subject. The pas percentage was 30%.
Other: I was interested in engineering but I had some problems at first, I could not go to any government college and then I decided to join this college. There were many good things in our course like it pressurizes a student to compete in earlier times and immense knowledge is gained through this but in the same manner, some improvement was required like more focus was on theory, and they do not go for practical knowledge. I always topped in viva because I had practical knowledge about things but students stick to the said question only they do not know where it comes from.
