Birbhum Institute of Engineering & Technology is not good. There are not only placement problem but also the campus was very bad. Some faculty are good but maximum faculty are bad. The main problem is the transport problem. The infrastructure of the college is very poor. The hostel life is boring.

Its a place where education had been the prime importance. Our department used to arrange all sorts of facilities that an engineering student should get. Labs contained all equipment that made us fully trained on practicals.A peaceful environment most importantly. ISRO certified college .its a WORLD BANK funded project,a govt. Aided Institute.

Not a good college. Dirty politics between teachers. Worthless placement cell. It receives aid from the Government of West Bengal, World Bank under TEQIP-II, Birbhum Zilla Parishad, West Bengal Power Development Corporation Limited and MPLAD scheme for the development of the infrastructure and the campus. But ultimate gain is nothing.
