I am disappointed after taking admission here. Campus life and playgrounds are missing.

Placements: In my course, about 70-80% of students get placed. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS visit the college for placements. Internship facilities are so poor so I do not know about it. Top roles like data science and development are offered in my course.

Infrastructure: Facilities and the infrastructure available for our course are 3 buildings with 7th floors. Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and a library are available for educational purposes only. The quality of the hostel is very poor. It is so far from the college, which is 3 kilometers away. There is no good canteen. In the canteen, no one is able to eat food by sitting because no sitting facility is available. The canteen food taste is very poor, and the canteen staff members are rude.

Faculty: Not all teachers are helpful. They all are very rude. But some teachers are very caring. All teachers are qualified but do not provide their knowledge. Their teaching quality is not satisfying. I am not sure if it makes the students industry-ready or not. Semester exams are not so hard not so easy as it only depends on MAKAUT. The pass percentage is 40%

Other: I chose this course because I want to become a software engineer. At admission time, the fee structure is 390000 but after that, it increases up to 2 lakhs. The best thing about this course is the knowledge about computers. I wish the college would improve the course. Some events are held. But there are no fests, no campus crowd, no connectivity, and no campus surroundings. Scholarships are available and extracurricular activities are held.

Placements: 82-85% of students were placed every year. The highest package offered is 11 LPA and the average package offered is 4 LPA. The companies that visit our college are IBM, Accenture, Cognizant, Infosys, PWC, E&Y, Rinex Technology, and Amazon for the virtual customer associate role. The students who got placed were offered the internship by the companies. The roles offered are system engineer, specials programmer, associate software engineer, advanced associate software engineer, sales specialists, GenC, Genc Pro, and Genc Next.

Infrastructure: Our college offers four branches: Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Electrical Engineering. There are separate labs for each department. Wi-Fi facility is available on the college campus and all the students can access it. Hostel is also provided by the college; the hostel offered three sharing rooms with attached bathrooms & a common bathroom. There were water filters on each floor of the hostel, one common fridge, and food quality is average.

Faculty: Teachers were very friendly, interactive and helpful. The teaching technique was also very good. Yes, the course curriculum was very relevant and interesting and also helpful for the placements. The semester was not that difficult; students can easily answer the questions.

Other: College does not provide scholarships; students can get scholarships that were provided by the state government and central government. The events conducted by the college are Saraswati Pooja, Vishwakarma Pooja, Tech Fest, Cultural Fest, Freshers Party, and Farewell Party.

All about My College life.

Placements: Till last year, the placement of this college was pretty good; more than 80% of the students got placed. However, this year, the placement percentage has dropped drastically. The majority of the students didn't get placed in any company. I hope this situation improves quickly.

Infrastructure: Basically, I don't like the infrastructure of this college at all. There are only a few buildings in this college. There is no ground at all, and the canteen is not that good. The food in the canteen is also not that good. There is a hostel in this college, but the hostel is far from the college.

Faculty: Honestly, the faculty members are too good here. The majority of the faculty members are highly skilled and always keen to help the students. However, some faculty members are too strict about attendance; you might feel like you're still in school. We have semester exams every 6 months, which include 4 class assessments and 2 practical assessments as well.

While cricket and football teams exist, lack of institutional support limits participation in inter-college tournaments. Only some faculty and alumni actively encourage players.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified but support varies; teaching is theory-focused. The curriculum covers basics but lacks modern trends like AI/ML. Semester exams are moderate tough with a 85-90% pass rate. Self-learning and certification are vital for industry readiness.

BP Poddar would be a great choice if your WBJEE rank is around 8k to 20k.

Placements: The CSE and ECE branches have a good scope of getting placed in top companies. I got placed in PwC. Even EY and other companies like Accenture, Cognizant, and many others recruit students. The average package is 4.5 LPA. The minimum package can be 3 LPA, and the highest package is 11 LPA. But you can get an average package, and a wholesome number of people get placed in mass-recruiting companies.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not so good if you compare it with top colleges, but yes, it's fine. It has auditoriums and indoor rooms to play. But it doesn't have a football field. They organize football tournaments, which is one of the biggest and craziest things in this college, and you will love it.

Faculty: Faculty members are great and maintain a good relationship with the students. This college is under MAKAUT, so you will have exams regulated by MAKAUT. External invigilators come during exams. The labs and library are fine, and the teachers are highly qualified. As for the curriculum being relevant, you should know that you are studying in India, and no college or school has a relevant course that can make you successful. In the end, it's you and YouTube videos that will help you understand what reality is.

Overall Good college to get into

Placements: This year from our college a good no of students are placed. Almost 60% students are placed from computer science batch. Many well known company like Nomura, PwC, E&Y came to our college and hired freshers. Highest package was given by Airbus of 12LPA.

Infrastructure: BPPIMT classrooms are good. Labs are air conditioned. We also have a large library that provides a peaceful environment to study or to do the assignments. I may not be able to provide the exact details of the hostels and their mess and canteen service as I have not stayed there.

Faculty: Most of the teachers of our department are quite helpful and they try to teach us as much as they can. We do have four internals according to our university and teachers are also helpful as they provide notes before the exams and also provide suggestions.

Other: Glad to choose this course as it helped me to gain enough relevant knowledge. One thing that doesn't match the expectation is the college campus. The college campus should have been made larger.
