College has old but decent infrastructure with good curriculum and faculty members.
Placements: Around 75% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges from 4 LPA - 5 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 1.8 LPA. TCS, L&T, Tata Mahindra Corp, etc., are the top recruiters. Obviously, TCS, being a mass recruiter, recruited mostly students at an average or below-average package. Internships from college are in negligible amounts, some students got internships off-campus on their own. Most of the companies took students for maintenance engineer and marketing team roles.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are old as the college is established in the mid-1980s. There is library supported by the World Bank where one can find most of the books needed for educational purposes. The library is decent. There is student activity center that has an indoor basketball court, table tennis court, and indoor gym. There, we can also play chess, carrom, etc. For outdoor activities, there is a central playground where you can play most of the outdoor games like cricket, football, volleyball, etc. The complete campus is Wi-Fi enabled, though sometimes the speed is not satisfactory. There are 4 old boys' hostels, and 2 new ones are being made. Also, there are 2 girls' hostels. Hostel infrastructure is average, with Wi-Fi in all hostels, but the speed is poor. The first-year hostel has its own volleyball ground and badminton court. Then there is a big academic block where all the classes take place. That is well-developed and maintained. Classroom infrastructure is decent with everything working fine, including Wi-Fi. There is a multipurpose hall for all cultural and other events. Moreover, all engineering departments have their own small auditorium for small conferences. Every department has the needed labs, which are decent and most of them are working fine. There is a central canteen and a small canteen (near the first-year boys' hostel). There is a branch of the Central Bank of India and an ATM of Punjab National Bank. Besides, there is a guest house where parents can stay with the permission of the registrar. There is an open-air theatre too, where some prize distribution events mainly take place. Moreover, along with the library, there is an innovation and incubation center (IIC) which is mainly related to placement preparation and providing support for startups. With all these things, the lush green campus of approximately 250 acres is decently managed.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Some teachers are strict and some are friendly. Teaching is decent according to me. About 75% of attendance criteria is must for all, otherwise, they can debar students from end-semester exams (this also depends on the teacher). Curriculum is AKTU syllabus, which is revised recently, and I believe it is quite relevant. Being an autonomous institution, the college makes its own papers for the end semester, which are moderate to pass. If we study a bit, we can manage to pass it. Mostly, students pass except for a few in some subjects (this also depends on the teacher, sometimes, some check copies leniently, while some check with harsh marking).
Other: I had an interest in electrical engineering and I found the best college for this based on my rank, so I pursued it. The course is good, though college life was poor. There has been a fresher's party, which is just like the annual function. The girl-to-boy ratio is poor moreover, there are lots of restrictions on girls' and boys' interaction too. There is mainly one tech fest called Innovenza, which is the greatest fest of BIET. There are two cultural fests, mainly Abhinandan (fresher's party) and Utsav. UP scholarship is provided, which is Rs. 50,000 - Rs. 60,000 per year for general and up to Rs. 1 lakh for SC/ST, etc. Extracurricular activities like sports, ISKCON sessions, career guidance sessions, painting, posters, etc., used to take place. The campus is slightly on the outskirts of Jhansi-Kanpur highway, 5 km outside Jhansi. The nearest railway station is Jhansi station, which is 10 km from the college, and Gwalior airport is the nearest airport. The bus stand is just outside the college. Some shops are just outside the college where one can get items of daily use.

Review of Bundelkhand Institute of Engineering and Technology, Jhansi.
Placements: In the 2024 batch, almost 70% of students got placement. The highest placement was around 17 LPA and the average placement was 4 LPA. Due to recession and other reasons, placement of CS and IT was not that good. Placement from mechanical and electrical was quite good as compared to other previous years. 17 LPA was offered from H.L.S. Asia to mechanical students. Top recruiting companies are L&T, HLS Asia, PLANETSPARK, TCS, WIPRO, YHILLS, and CADENCE. If I talk about internships, there are only a few students who do internships because for internships there are very few (one or two) companies that visit college; almost everyone applies, and if they are lucky, then only they get good internships; otherwise, they do paid internships. As I am from the Electrical Branch, in my branch almost 50% got placed in L&T and HLS Asia for roles like graduate engineer trainee and electrical engineer trainee.
Infrastructure: Although the Electrical Branch is not permanent (recognized by the government), so there are no professors in the Electrical Branch, almost every subject is taught by guest faculties. Teachers are not IIT's and NIT's in electrical(only) so electrical students take their classes in electronics departments and use electronic department labs. as electrical is not a permanent branch, so we have to pay an extra 15k more as compared to other branches like CS, and Electronics and civil. The quality of electrical labs is not good; mostly we do our practical on software like Matlab and Multisim because there is no facility for practical . For the library, there is one central library for every branch. Anyone can go and study there; the timing of the library is 9 am to 6 pm . The library is quite good; full ac as well as very good wifi is available in the library. The quality of the hostel is 6 out of 10, which is not that good but according to rent, it's quite good but mess food is not good especially for the second and third years, but for the first and final years, mess is good as compared to the second and third years because of the workers. There is one central canteen and for the first year there is one separate canteen that, if they want, they can purchase in their hostel only. If I talk about sports, there is one central playground for cricket and football; apart from CPG, there are very good courts for basketball and badminton . we can play table tennis, carrom and chess, as well as ludo. There are separate courts for every sport.
Faculty: As I told you, an electrical branch is not a permanent branch, which means there is no aid from the government in fee. so we have to pay an extra 15k every year. as well as teachers in electrical are not that qualified as compared to other branches. The college hires private teachers for teaching electrical and I.T. but in other branches faculties are permanent as well as well qualified, especially from IIT's . Although in electrical teachers are not permanent and professors, they are very good as compared to professors in other branches . guest faculties support more and give good marks as compared to professors. I think it is a profit for electrical students; they can easily score good marks with no problem of attendance because guest faculty is very lenient. The course curriculum is very old and based on theory but from last year, because of project-based learning, the college made some changes and is now focusing more on projects and innovation. But still, the course is not up to the mark for industry; there is a need to make changes more and more to make students placement-ready. Semester exams are very easy because college is autonomous so there is a link between AKTU so college teachers make exam papers and copies are checked in college only so teachers give very easy papers especially in electrical.
Other: In BIET there are seven branches: CS, IT, electrical, electronics, civil, mechanical, and chemical. Two branches, electrical and IT, are not permanent so there are departments for them. Students take their classes in the electronics department. In my batch there are 60 students and 6 are laterals so there are 66 students . I chose this course because my rank was 100k so I did not get it. That's why I chose BET. the best thing about my course is that placement is good, as well as that the that the faculty is not permanent so they are very lenient and give good marks with no compulsion of attendance. But labs are not good for practical and colleges don't support practical and other innovation so my branch is not good for practical study purposes. In college, events are organized regularly and the crowd is very good. Almost every event is celebrated here, like Diwali and Holi New Year. The surrounding is very good because the campus is fully green and very good in terms of air and pollution. The campus is very huge, around 230 acres.

No one wants to do their job properly here.
Placements: About 60-65% of students got placed. Mostly from the CSE, ECE, IT, and EE branches. Lower branches have very little placement. The highest package offered last year on campus was 18 LPA from HLS Asia to 1 student. Others were within 10 lakhs. Large numbers of students, around 39, were placed in TCS for different roles. But sad reality is mostly companies are coming for sales roles, which is a big shame for students and college also.
Infrastructure: Since college was very old, old buildings need servicing, which is done when college understands that its high time now. New buildings are very good. WiFi was available all over the campus and had no limit on usage, which is good about that college. Library rooms are equipped with AC. I don't know about labs because labs are virtual here. No hands-on experience because they don't want to connect the new machines to the power. Faculty is just a nightmare.
Faculty: We have guest faculty, which is not knowledgeable by any means. They take classes just to recite the notes they carry. No explanation, no problem solving, nothing. Since college is autonomous, you can't argue with them as they fail you in exams.
Other: I chose it because it was in the top 3 government colleges. But it's completely opposite. Many clubs and councils are there, so you can participate in many events that happen very frequently. Also have an incubator cell where you learn about entrepreneurs. Drone Learner's Club, which is very good. So overall, college in terms of these things is good.

Our college had good placements in 2022. I am satisfied with this college.
Placements: Many companies offer an average salary package of 4 LPA - 5 LPA. Mass recruiting companies are Wipro, TCS, etc. The highest salary package offered by Google in 2022 was 64 LPA. Students got placed in Samsung and Microsoft.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the campus is not much good. Classrooms are very old and outdated. Our college consists of various labs for every department. In recent years, some new construction has been made. Two new hostels are constructed for boys. The old hostels' condition is not good.
Faculty: All faculty members are supportive. They help students regarding the preparation for different competitive exams after graduation. They guide students. The academic curriculum is not very strict. Almost 75% of attendance is mandatory in our college.
Other: Our college has good value for money. The crowd and campus life are decent.

Yes in the year 2015 faculty, infrastructure and placement all are absolutely good !
Placements: Biet gives placement to teach field mostly not core branches comparatively. College doesn't offer internship for students as study have to do to internship by itself ! Top company for my course is L&T. The highest package is 64 Lacs per annum and minimum is 1 Lacs.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is poor as it is government college. Not maintained from years! Hostel food is also not good. Wi-Fi is working properly, labs are also somebit good, classrooms doesn't have any AC, but library is well maintained ! As said above hostel food is not uo to the taste .
Faculty: Faculty us not that much good and approachable. They did not have proper knowledge and the quality is d grade. No mostly students do it by thereselves, they study by their own, get numbers and get placed in companies. Semester exams are not that much difficult ad I havr passed my some of the subjects by studying one day before the exam !
Other: Yes the interesting thing in our college is fest. Personally I enjoy most in fests.

I think you should choose government UPTU colleges if you have a good rank and UPTU colleges should be IET, HBTI, CSJMU and Bundelkhand University. These colleges have very good placement records and these are top engineering colleges.
