It is an average college, and you can join here.

Placements: Placements in our college are average. The placement drives conducted in our college are average. Almost 40% of the students got placed. Some students got placed in good companies like Infosys, Amazon etc. Nowadays, the college is trying its best to conduct good campus drives. I hope there will be better placements in future.

Placements for chemical engineers are good.

Placements: The placement record of our college was average at that time. IT and non-IT students got placed on campus. Indian Navy, Tech Mahindra, Unimark Remedies, AB Polybag, and other IT and non-IT companies visited the campus. I was offered the job of a chemical engineer in placements.

CIT- A nightmare to pursue chemical engineering.

Placements: Simply bad placements, atleast for mechanical chemical and civil. There are some cross domain placement but for core chemical it simply is waste of money. Unless one has exceptionally good engineering knowledge 8.00+ CGPA and good communication skills to crack line (BOC), IOCL or Himadri Chemicals pool campusing or can crack GATE or PSU, they are doomed.

A good college for students who scored ranks above 10,000 in WBJEE.

Placements: Placements for ECE and electrical departments are good. The college provides placement opportunities in mass recruiting companies. However, there are a lot of placements in other domains like technical and finance sectors. Companies like Amazon, Collabera, XL Dynamics, etc., visit the campus for placements.

Dissatisfied with the college because of faculty, infrastructure, and facilities.

Placements: In the year 2017, nearly about 75% students were placed by on-campus as well as off-campus placements, which was far better than the previous year (about 63%). In our branch, almost 90% of the students got jobs in the core sector along with IT-based firms. Salaries offered to the students were quite nominal, but you have to fight with the college authorities for placements. They are not even interested in going for campus drives.

Overall four years experience was okay!

Placements: Average. Particularly do not remember how many companies came. Max were walk in interviews and pools. Mass recruited by Unimark (6.5k app/month) and pool was done by Line who gave max salary (25k app/month). Max companies were non-core. Like I got into Infosys.

Not so satisfying Experience of B.Tech.

Placements: Placements has been an issue. There are placements mainly in tech support and KPO. There are a very few core industries that come for hiring, but the pay scale offered are too low. As per placements go the college places more than 70% students randomly in any sector. But if you want a job with decent payscale or in your own field then you might be disappointed.

The worst chemical engineering college.

Placements: The college doesn't provide any placements. They took money for placements, but they didn't provide any placements. Most of the placements were fake. There is no support from anyone. The college doesn't provide any training for the students, and even the internships are not provided. There is no academic support provided to the students. The connectivity is bad. They think only to make money from students.

My college is best in this world.

Placements: In my batch, 2012-2016, the students got very poor placements. 40% of the students are placed. The highest salary was Rs. 25,000 per month. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 8,000 per month and the average salary was Rs. 14,000 per month. More fake companies are visiting the campus. Tech Mahindra and some vendor companies visited the campus. The companies offered a role as a trainee engineer. Almost all the students got the internship offer, but no stipend is provided. A college with good faculty members, pickup and drop facilities, good placement opertunities.

Placements: As our college have a good placement cell, we have a great chance to be placed in a well-known company like Tech Mahendra, Infosys, India Thermit corporation Ltd, RDC, and many more. Our previous batch got an average of 80 to 85% placements in above-mentioned companies. As I am now pursuing my Diploma in Electrical engineering (6th sem), working in India Thermit corporation Ltd as a site in charge. The average salary for Diploma students offered by these companies is R.s 12,000 per month, and fo...

The best college for engineering.

Placements: The placements are good in renowned IT Sectors. The highest salary offered during our campusing time was 7.5 LPA. Others offered 3 lacs per annum as an average. Many renowned companies are coming to a college campus and took maximum students from there. Previous campusing are also good.

One of the good engineering colleges in Howrah

Placements: The placement scenario is not good. The average salary package is too low. 60% students are placed. The highest salary package is 6 LPA and the lowest is 1.8 LPA. Some companies namely DL Dynamics, Eclerx, FCS, Nature Technology, etc. visited the campus. The placement coordinator is good.

Best college if knowledge is what you want The CSE department is just awesome

Placements: The placements for the computer science and engineering branch are the best in the college. There are both on-campus and off-campus drives that the students are sent for. Many pool campus drives also take place. Companies like Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Infosys and Wipro visited the campus last year and will hopefully visit this year too.

Satisfied with the college.

Placements: Around 70 to 80 percent students were placed during 2015-2016. The highest salary offered was Rs. 4.8 LPA and the minimum package was 1 LPA. There are many companies like IBM, Amazon, Bharat Electric, Tech Mahindra, etc. that visited the campus. I got an internship from college and that was at Haldia Petrochemical, and the stipend was Rs. 5000.

An environmental friendly college and my experience about it.

Placements: My college has a high reputation for placements. There is a good placement cell. My seniors got placement in top companies like Infosys, TCS, Wipro. Monthly salary offered is around Rs. 20000 in the beginning. I got a placement at TCS. I am posted at Saltlake, Sector V, Kolkata. The overall standard of my college is very good. I got my job at open campassing at my college when I had graduated. Overall, it's a good college.

Placements: Placements of our batch were 60% and it was an average placement of about 2 to 3 lakh, not good placements. MNCs came and their package was fixed for every student whether they are bright, average or dull. The maximum package offered here was 10 lakhs from Amazon and the lowest package was 2 lakh. Absolutely dissatisfied with myself and the college. Suggest not to take admission strictly.

Placements: Placements are very poor or almost nil. Mainly sales and marketing companies come. Majority of the students have not been placed yet. Even I am not placed till now. Till now, only 3 core companies have come who have selected 7 students from my stream. Since my batch is the first batch, no senior batch of mechanical was there. Internships are not provided by the college.

Dissatisfied with facilities being not up to the mark and placements being below average till now.

Placements: My batch is the first batch in mechanical but till now, very less placement has been done from my batch. Magnus Plywood, GNG Group and Tech Mahindra are the companies which have come till now for the placement. From my batch, 3 students have been hired in Magnus Plywood, 2 in GNG Group and 1 in Tech Mahindra. Till now, only 14% of my stream has been placed, with no internships provided from my college.

This college is a scam don't get admitted here

Placements: Placements are very, very poor! Only a fraction of students get to apply for placements. The highest package ever offered since I joined this college was 3 LPA, and the lowest was 1.1 LPA. Some random recruiting companies, but no reputed companies. No internships are offered to the students. Thinking about top roles is a waste of time since even a web developer may not get a decent salary after graduating from this college.
