Diploma in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2023
3.4

Good study options, but the infrastructure is good, not necessarily valuable for students.
Placements: 50% of the students are placed in companies from the CSE and ECE departments. The highest package offered by companies is 8 Lacs, and the lowest package is 1.5 Lacs. The top recruiting companies are TCS and Infosys. 20% of students have secured internships through their courses.
Infrastructure: The facilities include high Wi-Fi, good classrooms, and a library. The library has all the necessary books for B.Tech, Diploma, and M.Tech levels. The college provides hostels for both JVD and non-JVD students, and the food in the mess and canteen is good.
Faculty: Teachers are friendly and supportive, providing assistance with both the subject and future career prospects. They also offer information related to placements. The syllabus is good for ECET students, but there is less teaching staff. Passing marks are 35.
Other: The course provides insight into the practical workings of engines and various mechanical aspects, which is valuable in real life.

B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2024

We never felt like it's College, It's our home.
Placements: Around 45% of students secured placements in various companies with packages ranging from 3 to 5 Lacs per annum. Companies like Accenture in Mumbai recruited students. All students had internship opportunities, with some opting for government internships.
Infrastructure: Our college offers excellent facilities, including machines, project workstations, a well-stocked library, purified drinking water, a VIP canteen, and medical services. The hostel and mess are of high quality, and we have sports facilities like volleyball, cricket grounds, and a shuttle court. The infrastructure in the mechanical branch is particularly noteworthy, with the latest equipment available.
Faculty: Faculty members are friendly and supportive, encouraging us to achieve great things. The exams are manageable, and about 83% of students passed in 2024. The curriculum is relevant, and many students received industrial training at companies like Jindal Stainless Steel and steel plants, preparing them for industry roles.

Beautiful college with nice sceneries.
Placements: During my time at college, only a small number of students were selected in campus interviews, to be honest. However, that was a decade ago, and since then, the college may have undergone development and is now attracting more companies for campus placements. It is possible that if the students have a percentage higher than 60%, campus placements will occur regularly.
Infrastructure: The absence of a hostel was notable during my time; however, three years ago, the introduction of a hostel facility brought about strict monitoring through CCTV equipment. The labs and library were satisfactory, although not exceptional, while the classrooms lacked the appeal of a higher education institution, resembling more of a school setting.
Faculty: The teachers possessed the necessary qualifications and expertise. However, whether a student becomes industry-ready or not largely depends on their own interests. It is advisable for students to actively engage with the faculty by asking more questions. During my time, we used to find joy in seeking clarification from the professors who were highly qualified.
Other: The college atmosphere was nice. It was surrounded by mango trees, a beautiful garden, and a nice playground.

Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2025
4.2
3Placements5Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
This is my opinion about my college.
Placements: Actually, during the Diploma stage, I think it's not good for jobs because we can't upgrade or get promotions through a Diploma job. It's much better after completing a B.Tech. So, there are very few placements for Diploma holders, not just in my college but generally. When it comes to internships, it's necessary to do one in the final year. Marks are allocated for this internship, and we can select from different companies listed.
Infrastructure: I initially joined this college because of the infrastructure and campus locality. The infrastructure is awesome, but there's no Wi-Fi available for students. The labs are also fine for me, and the classrooms are spacious with good air ventilation, in my opinion. The library is also good; we can borrow any book we want from there. I am a day scholar, so I don't know much about hostel life.
Faculty: The quality of teaching by the lecturers was perfect, in my opinion. They have practical knowledge about their subjects, making it easy for us to understand from their lectures. I think Diploma students are not fully prepared for industries because we only learn basics and some subject knowledge. Understanding the concepts makes it easier to pass semester exams, with around a 60% pass percentage in the final semester.
Other: Initially, I wanted to join in CME, but after listening to the college counseling, I decided to do ECE instead of CME. After this, we can also take CSE in B.Tech. In my course, understanding the concepts and practicing diagrams are enough to pass. In November/December, the college has freshers' events followed by a fest for the entire college.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the faculty but the college has good atmosphere and facilities.
Placements: Basically our college has only a few placements that will not come yearly but are okay. The highest package offered is around 5 Lacs per annum. The lowest package is 3 Lacs per annum. We got top companies like Infosys, Tech Mahendra, etc. visiting for recruitments. The students from ECE department get hardware based jobs.
Infrastructure: My course is electronics and communication engineering which is quite good. The facilities are good having near classrooms. The labs are also good but some equipments are not available to observe things for practicals. We have a college canteen where the taste of the food is quite good. The college doesn't provide us the Wi-Fi password.
Faculty: The teaching quality is not so bad but some of the faculty members are the worst, they don't even know the syllabus and teach wrong syllabus before the exams, we have faced that. They don't teach pure subjects but just for passing for the semesters. The passing percentage is I think around 60%.
Other: This course is better after Computer Science Engineering. This course has also given effective engineers to the society. We had a college fest every year called Utsav. We enjoyed a lot while dancing and singing together. The college provides tuitions charging a fee of 35k for the entire year.

I would not recommend this college due to poor placement and other issues.
Placements: We are 130 members in the course, but there are no placement opportunities or companies visiting the college. The college does not provide any internships, so we have to find them on our own. There are no roles offered by the college, and it does not support placement in any way. The overall placement situation is very disappointing.
Infrastructure: The facilities for teaching are good, but they are not permanent. Some of the computers in the labs are not working properly, and the infrastructure could use significant improvements. The classrooms are decent, but the hostels and mess facilities are subpar. In the hostels, there are 2-3 students per room, and the food is not good at all.
Faculty: The teaching faculty is good, and the professors are well-behaved and knowledgeable. The curriculum is relevant to the students, but the exams are tough, and the investigation process is strict. The pass percentage in our class is around 55%, and the overall pass percentage in the college seems to be decreasing each year.
Other: I am interested in Computer Engineering, particularly ethical hacking and data science, which is why I joined this course. The first-year experience was good and well-crowded, with a two-day event being the biggest one of the year.
