Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

Q:   What is the expected JEE Main cutoff 2024?

It is a government college and a certified college. It provides good placements.
Placements: From our batch, only 2 students got placed as we are diploma students. Few companies visit our college for placements, but if you are doing the B.Tech, from our college, then there are a very high amount of opportunities. In the previous year, a degree student got placed at Amazon as a software engineer with a salary package of 34 LPA. From our batch, only 2 students got placed at Violet Chima. Placements are only good for the degree students. Many companies like HP, Dell, Swaraj, Violet PP, Violet Chima, etc., visit our college for placements. Most of the students get placed here.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. There is a Wi-Fi facility on the main campus. The library is available in a very neat and silent environment. Dedicated labs are available for each practical subject. The food at the mess is prepared with full cleaniness. Every day a different type of food is prepared. There is a huge playground on our campus for games like football and cricket. A basketball court is also available here. It also has NCC and NSS services.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are so helpful and experienced. They have written books that are also used by our board in the whole Punjab. Semester exams are not that difficult. The pass percentage is always around 95-100%. The cources make the students industry-ready, but from the diploma, most of the students prefer further studies.
Other: Many events are organised at our college like a freshers party and an annual meet. A huge event named Apratim is organized every year, and an industry-level singer is invited to sing.

I am dissatisfied with the placements.
Placements: I am from the 2017 batch of the diploma in mechanical engineering. Placements here are the worst and not fruitful, and only 3 or 4 students get placed. The highest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 0.96 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are ITC, Cheema Boilers, Makino, SML, Swaraj, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is average because it is a very old building as it is built in 1960s. It made very prestigious engineers for our society. Wi-Fi facility is not available in the entire block, but labs are good. Classrooms are very bad, and the library is also bad. The library has very less books.
Faculty: Teachers here are good because they all are highly qualified and have knowledge about the engineering course. Their teaching quality is good but not helpful because they don't want to interact with students who face difficulty at various times. However, some teachers are good.

Really good teaching staff and facilities.
Placements: Nearly 80% of our batch got placements. The minimum salary offered was 1.80 lacs per annum and the maximum was 5 lacs per annum. Some of our seniors got placed in reputed companies like L&T, Maruti Trident and others. The companies that visited are JTEKT SONA, Trident, L&T and Atlas Copco.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was good with all the required facilities. Students had the facilities of sports and gym, and the canteen facility was also good. Students and teachers can utilise mess facility at low cost.
Faculty: Some of the teaching staff had the ranks of scientists, and they were very knowledgeable. Faculty help you in achieving success, but some of them were not good at teaching. Some of them were so capable and experienced in teaching that they just bring out 100% even from the poor students. Some teachers explain the subjects in the most practical manner so that everyone can understand. They have the ability to relate the subject to our surroundings for ease of understanding.
Other: The college has a state level cricket championship and a national level football team, and other cultural events are also conducted in the college.

About ccet, it's campus, teacher and many more things.
Placements: Very less only 1-2 students are taken in the company that also so far for example Bangalore, Gujarat etc. Some companies come and take only interview and give no jobs. The company come were makino, swraj Mazda Ltd. They give salary only?3000 and training for 1 year or less.
Infrastructure: No Wi-Fi class does not have any proper supply of electricity. The benches are broken. The nails are not hammered properly. Sports ground is very good for playing cricket, football and volleyball. The canteen has many variety of food. Non hostler can also eat food from the mess.
Faculty: The teachers never come to class on time. There is no discipline in college. Only 20%teachers come to class on time. They are no proper labs for practice. Only some teacher give accurate and proper knowledge. There is no proper coach for sports and workshop is highly developed.

Other: This college is really very good. The faculty was excellent, the crowd was not so good, but there was no restriction of any kind. The main disadvantage of CCET is that it does not provide any placements. The fee structure of CCET is very low and the extra curriculum activities are not so much present. Except cricket, there is not much importance given to any other sports at this college. Participation in dancing, singing, modelling is common during the annual function. A blood donation camp is also organized every year. At last, CCET is good in developing a student’s personality better and also the education system in CCET was really good.
