Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

Review of Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: Placements are average in this college. Most CS and ECE students are placed but mechanical and civil students are rarely placed on the campus as most of the companies visit campus for tech jobs, and the core company comes very less, but many students of this college go off-campus and get placed in top MNCs like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. The companies which visit campus regularly are Amazon, Samsung, Flipkart, Adobe, Paytm, BharatPe, TCS, Wipro, and many more. The average salary package offered is 5.5 LPA, and for mechanical and civil minimum salary package offered is 4 LPA. Most of the students are placed by mass recruiters like TCS and Wipro.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is good and currently more buildings are constructing on the campus. The college has all sports facilities talking about classrooms and all of them are equipped with smart board and projectors and campus is well coved in greenery moving on hostels then girls constructed recently, and equipped with all the modern facilities and boys hostel is old, but it will be renovated in 1 or 2 years, and current hostel of boys have decent facilities. If students look at mess food then it is average, mess food is completely vegetarian, and 3 meals are served in the days, overall the infrastructure is average.
Faculty: Faculty members of this college are good and well-disciplined and most of them are Ph.D. holders and have good experience in the teaching field taking a look at the course curriculum then it is well planned, but it is old. If students want to be industry-ready, then they have to study extra and do an internship for experience in a semester, there are 3 exams in total, 2 sessional, and one end semester if students study from teachers' notes then it is very easy to crack these exams.
Other: I opted for this course because I got 64,000 rank in JEE and it is best which can get talking about the ECE branch then it is the evergreen green branch, and students can go in both product based company and government sector. The one thing which I want to get improve in this course is the very old curriculum then college should update it. They organise the fest which is called achintimym and it is average, and I want to mention that college location is very good, and students will enjoy these 4 years of their life.

Other: It is a fantastic college with one of the great and oldest campus. Faculty is the ocean of knowledge, you will get best knowledge here. College fee is too low and worthy. However, the placements are not enough. Facilities are good, but there is also some space for improvement. Overall it is above than an average but not a perfect college.
