Good but not upto that mark.

Placements: Above 40 -60 percent get placed who are glad to take placements. 3 to 4 lacs per annum is the minimum package that an average student receives from the college placements. Infosys is the mass recruiter for the college or for the computer Science department we can say.

CCET and the things the college brochure does not include.

Placements: Placements in ECE core are zero the only placements offered here are only in technical IT sector and marketing and other low level mass recruitment done by infosys. In a batch of 60 students about 40 were placed but only 2 students were placed in a technical company were they were offered a package of about 6 LPA and 2 students were placed in marketing companies with about similar packages the rest were paced at about 3-4 LPA in non technical companies.

I am satisfied with the faculty members of our college.

Placements: Placements are very good here, and almost 70% of the students got placed in good companies. The highest salary package offered by companies is in the range of 8 LPA-9 LPA, while the lowest salary package offered ranges from 3 LPA-4 LPA. Many popular companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Infosys, Paytm, HTC, Vivo, etc., visit our campus for placements.

The campus needs to be changed.

Placements: Placements in the civil branch are not very good compared to other streams. The salary package offered in the civil department up to 3.5 LPA, but there are no top recruiting companies in this line. About 65% of the students from the batch will be qualified, but only 15 to 20% of the students get jobs.

I am proud of my college.

Placements: The placements in this college have maximum chances to get a job with a better salary. In the production branch, every year, at least 8 or 9 companies visited the college and offered the lowest salary package is Rs. 15,000 per month. The vital point to think here is that if you get the job, you have to clear all your subjects with or above 60%.

The college has a good infrastructure.

Placements: Placements in this college are amazing. Students have a good opportunity to take a job in the private sector as well as government sector. Private companies like L&T, Godrej, Tech Mahindra, etc., visit the college for placements. Many companies visit our college and they also provide the good opportunity for students to make their future.

Review of Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: This year, placements at CCET for mechanical engineering were quite average, but improvement can be seen as compared to the previous batches. This year Godrej was a new company in the list of recruiters besides companies like Mahindra, Punj, Lloyd, IFB, Isuzu, and mass recruiter Infosys being old in the list. Placements rate of the college is above 90% from the past few years.

Absolutely satisfied with the campus and study methods of faculty. There are fair placements.

Placements: We know placements are really not good in civil engineering line then we can't hope a huge placement. But in our college, we expect Infosys and other companies for placements. Sometimes L&T also visited here, but in that year no students were offered a job. According to the previous 6 years, the highest salary package offered is about 6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is about 2.3 LPA. The average salary package offered is about 3.56 LPA. For internships, we have to find it on our own int...

CCET is an affordable college with low fee structure.

Placements: Placements in our college have improved in recent years from around 40% to 60-70%. Companies mainly visit here for the computer science department. Very few core companies visit for the mechanical, electronics and civil department. In the year 2017, many companies visited the campus, including Zycus, EY, Infosys, Godrej, Quark, etc. Roles offered were of business analyst and risk analyst mainly.

Placements: The college has good placement track with average placements. About 85% of students got placed. Students got selected from all the branches in the college. The college provides good exposure to industrial training and internships to students. The training and placement cells work continuously to keep improving the placement status.
