It is a normal government college and good at CSE course only and average at ECE course.

Placements: Around 85% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 33LPA, and the lowest salary pacakge offered is 3.5 LPA. The average salary pacakge offered in CSE is 7 LPA. There are no internships from any company inside the campus, but students can take from off-campus. Almost 5 students get good placements like more than 15 LPA and the remaining to get normal placements.

Review of Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: About 50% of the students got placed in my course. Students of my course were allowed to sit in the placement of IT companies which included local startups to MNCs like Quarks, Infosys. The package ranged from 3 LPA to 6 LPA. There were a couple of companies that also hired for Electronics role and offered a package ranging 3-4 LPA.

Need to work on its connectivity with companies .

Placements: 60-70 percent of the students pursuing a degree in Computer Science get placed. The highest package goes upto 15L and the average is around 6L. No on campus internships. A position of a Software Engineer will be offered. The students resort to higher studies due to absence of good packages offered by the companies.

It is a good college for education but worst for placements.

Placements: My batch is 2016, and I am from the mechanical engineering department. You have to write JEE Mains to get admission in this college. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA and the highest salary package offered is around 7 LPA. Infosys, Godrej, SML, Mazda, etc., are top recruiting companies for our course. It is best if you choose CS engineering.

The college should be improved a lot.

Placements: I am a LEET student, so I needed a rank of less than 50 in the general quota of PULEET exam. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges between 4-5 LPA. Top recruiting company of our course is Infosys. Many roles are not0 offered to the students. About 20% of the students from our course get an internship.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the campus placements.

Placements: My batch 2016-2020. Around 15 percent of students were placed from my batch including placements in non-core companies also. Average package is around 4 lac and the highest package offered is 7 lac. The top recruiting company is Godrej which offered 5.5 lac per annum. All students are going under internship in various companies like Mahindra, Swaraj, Godrej, etc.

Review of Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: I am a student of mechanical engineering branch, and till now just one core company named Godrej & Boyce had conducted a placement drive which was a pool placement. Among 270 students of 5 colleges, only 40 cleared the technical round, and only 9 students made it through PI. But a lot of IT companies visited our college for recruitment, and they offered a better salary package of 12 LPA while Godrej offered a salary package of 4.5 LPA.

Review of Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: In mechanical engineering, around 30% of the batch students got campus placements, and the rest of them went for off-campus placement and further studies. The highest salary package offered was 6.5 LPA for mechanical engineering. Godrej was the top recruiting company. Many students got an internship, but you have to work for it by yourself, and some students also got an internship in foreign universities.

Moderately satisfied with the space to do things out of college and supportive people around.

Placements: Placements in our college are average and depend on your stream. It is good for CSE and ECE branches. For the mechanical branch, very few core companies visit the campus. One has to end up taking non-technical jobs. There is a high scope to improve the placements for the civil branch. Otherwise, they can try for some mass recruiting companies.

I am not satisfied with the college. It is an average college.

Placements: The companies that approach our college are not high in number. Although, those companies offer an average salary package of 4-4.50 lacs per annum. Almost 90% of the students get placed. The companies that visit our campus include Infosys, Quark, Jugnoo, Gemini Solutions, etc. There is a placement cell in college, and it is efficient to quite an extent.

Placements: The placement cell of this college was on a moderate level. Very few companies visit our college to hire the students of the mechanical branch. Only four companies visited our college to hire the students of the mechanical branch. A lot of companies visit our college to hire the students of computer science branch. I would rate 2 out of 5 for placements. The highest salary package offered was 12 LPA, which was given to a CS student. This year, about 40% of the students got placed through college...

When I passed for mechanical it wasn't good.

Placements: Almost 100 percent placement for ECE and CSE. For mechanical and civil not so good. In my time ecery CSE and ECE guy got two three placement but only three people got placement from mechanical. College has improved since then lots of new faculty has come selected from UPSC with lots of experience.

Bad in infrastructure, but really good in education.

Placements: Talking about placements in civil engineering, mostly students are placed in circuital branches like CSE, ECE, etc., but in civil hardly any core company visit like j. k cement. Average salary offered to civil engineer was around 2.8 LPA. And the highest in civil so far is 5lpa. Infosysis is mass recruiter of all branches. There is t&p cell but hardly effective. Generally civil engineers prefer government job.

Placements: Placements are good for the computer Science approximately 80-90 percent of the batch gets placed. In case of civil, around 40-50 percent of the batch gets placed. Placements for civil is very less. For mechanical it is around 10-15 percent of students who were placed.

Placements: The placements for CSE and ECE is okay. Infosys or any startup can recruit you. There's hardly a placement for the civil students. Mechanical students also faced the problem of getting placed. The teaching isn't that good.

Placements: The placements were overall average because the placement cell was not that active. Around 60% of the batch was placed, with rest of the batch either opting for higher studies or taking government job exams. The highest package was around 8-9 LPA for our batch and the lowest was 2.5 LPA.

Not satisfied with the placements of 2013-2017.

Placements: Around 15 companies visited the campus. All the students from CSE batch were placed in different companies but talking about other streams in here, neither of the streams was placed in good companies as compared to CSE. About 20 students out of 60 from ECE got placed. Civil and mechanical branch also didn't get placement in core companies. The average package goes around 3.25 lakhs for all the streams.

Decent college but don't have a lot of expectations. It has its share of cons but pros as well.

Placements: Placements are given in the order: CSE> ECE> mechanical~ civil. CSE gets the maximum placements and decent packages. There were core companies visiting for mechanical as well. Civil placements in core companies are not good (even in IITs, civil engineers are unplaced) and most of them appear for exams like GATE or other state exams for government jobs.
