Candidate must have passed VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. from schools situated in Tamil Nadu.
Tamil Nadu native candidate who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. or their equivalent exam from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. They should produce Original Nativity Certificate.
Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply.
Sons & daughters of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are eligible to apply. A Self declaration from the parent in this regard is to be produced.
Children of employees in the Public Sector or Government recognized institutions had been working in their organisations for the past five years are also eligible, irrespective of their domicile.

Absolutely staff facilities are good and really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Core companies are very rare maybe due to location factor. Computer Science department students have some good opportunities
Mechanical and civil engineering students have a lesson opportunities
Softskill trainings are to good and some extra lecturer training programs are helpful for placements.
Infrastructure: I think infrastructure is much better than existing colleges, Sports facilities are good to compare other colleges in that location
Digital library is located in inside campus
Environment is fully maintained by workers in daily
Bus facilities also available at 24*7.
Faculty: Yes, good and knowledgeable staffs are available
Very experienced staffs also worked in this campus
Young talented lab assistants also available in campus
The teaching facilities are encouraging the students for project work
Over all facilities are guiding students in good way.
Other: Management help to explore the knowledge and project activities and inplant training.

Chettinad College of Engineering and Technology is absolutely a good college.
Placements: Chettinad College of Engineering and Technology has good placements every year. This college brought more than 20 companies for placement interviews. TCS, Tata Motors, Tech Mahindra, IBM, Zoho, Accenture, Wipro are the top companies visiting the college. 90-95% of the students get placed in good companies. The salary packages offered range between INR 1.8-7 LPA.
Infrastructure: Chettinad College of Engineering and Technology has good classroom facilities. The college has more computer laboratories with internet connection and a well equipped library. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. The hostel mess’ food tastes good, although they need to make some variety of food options available. There is a sports ground facility available in the college as well.
Faculty: Chettinad College of Engineering and Technology offers more than 15 courses by designated staff working in the college. They are experienced persons. They conduct workshop events and practical classes. 95 percent of the students passed in all the exams. Our department’s staff is very friendly and helpful.
Other: Chettinad College of Engineering and Technology offers excellent facilities. The course curriculum is updated. The management conducts sports events every month. The placement records are also good. The college conducts more cultural events.
