Intelligent and scholars are given importance, but normal students work hard.

Placements: Placement was good for my senior batch. Our batch placements will start next semester. Highest package offered was Rs. 30 lakhs per annum by Directi company. The lowest package was offered by Infosys. Infosys, Amazon, Directi, TCS, Oyo rooms and many other companies visited the campus. 40% of the students got internships.

A mixed experience at the university, the fees is little high but you get for what you pay.

Placements: The placements at Chitkara University has a season, and in that season most of the good students get placed in reputed companies like SAP, Wipro etc. But the students who are average in their studies, struggle a lot to get campus placements as competition is rising day by day.

An honest opinion about Chitkara Institute of Engineering and Technology

Placements: The placements are great. More than enough companies come here for the students with a variety of offers. The packages vary from 3-4 lacs per annum and may go up to more than 20 lacs per annum. The college is up to its mark of 100% placements yet but I can't say about the future.

If you are looking for good private institute, you can always have Chitkara University on your list

Placements: Placements are good. Many MNCs and startups visit the university for the recruitment process. One major drawback is you cannot appear for any other placement drive once you are placed in a company. Placements are taken very seriously and the university takes the responsibility for your career and placement.

Good college for placements.

Placements: Placements are good here. Lots of companies visited in 2017 i.e. when we are in the 3rd year. The percentage of placed students is 100% , but we have to maintain our CGPA up to 7.0 without any backlogs. Around 115 companies came to Chitkara from the 3rd year to the 4th year. Good companies like Infosys, Quickheal and Amazon visited our college. Just concentrate on 1 subject i.e. like if you what to become coder concentrate on coding languages, etc.

Satisfied due to good placements in 2015.

Placements: The placements of Chitkara University have been wonderful especially if you are a computer science student. Overall, every single student under my batch was placed with computer science students taking out the maximum packages. There were more than 100 companies which visited the campus for placements and many of them were large-scale MNCs and offered good or average packages to the students.

Good infrastructure but it is not the place to learn something.

Placements: The placements are quite good in our college. Most of the students in our college are able to fetch a job or internship. The highest package offered to someone was around 22 lakhs whereas the average salary is around 4 lakhs. Many reputed companies often visit our campus for placement talks.

Chitkara University is the best among all the private universities in Punjab/Chandigarh.

Placements: I am going through placements and am sure of my placement, as most of the seniors I know are already placed in good companies like Tech Mahindra, Bosch Chennai, NXP, Cisco, etc. The university provides good placements if you don't have any backlogs i.e. reappears. The average salary offered is 3.30 lacs/annum.

Great place to learn and excel.

Placements: The placements from this college are decent. Major recruiters for mechanical engineers were Ashirwad Pipes, Valvoline, Ushin, Mahindra, Isuzu, Vespa, Kone Elevators, Royal Enfield, etc. The average package offered is 3.5 lakhs which is quite decent. The training facility is also provided with some major companies like Renault and Nissan group.

A college with good placements.

Placements: Placements are very good as compared to other colleges. About 60-70 percent students from my batch got placed in various companies. Many esteemed companies like Honda, SML Isuzu, Mahindra, Jindal Saw, Denso, Asahi glass etc visit the campus for placements. About 40 percent students got placed in these core companies while the rest are placed in IT companies like Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Capgemini and many more. The highest package is offered by core companies. Honda offered the highest package of 7....

Good college with good job opportunities but it can be expensive as compared to others.

Placements: Since I am in the 3rd year, our placements will be starting in the next semester. But the last year record of the placements and internships has been good. Companies like Renault-Nissan have visited for a 1-year internship while companies like Tech Mahindra and Infosys have visited for the internship-cum-placement. Different roles have been offered some have offered marketing jobs while others have offered technical jobs. The stipend has gone up to 18,000 starting from 8,000 and the average bein...

Good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Placements are fine here at Chitkara. The maximum pay offered was 20k but for very few. I didn't get my job through Chitkara but got it from the outside. I was offered 35k as initial pay. For internships, only 30-40% got selected and there was minimal stipend given around 5k and to very few students. I was shocked by the companies that came in for placements. Mechanical students were offered jobs in call centres.

Placements: The placements in the campus are really good. Even the best of the recruiters visit the campus for selecting out gems. Each year around 150+ companies visit the campus and there are a lot of placement opportunities in the university. Even the best recruiters like Google, Facebook, Oracle and many more provide a good opportunity to the students of the campus who are capable enough to get in one of these prestigious companies. Placements: Chitkara University provides 90-95% placements to the students. All the MNCs come to place the students like Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Amazon, L&T, etc. They offer different roles like software developer, etc. Most of the students got placed before even they graduated in the same companies in which they got internships.

Chitkara University- a good place to start your career.

Placements: Chitkara is good in placements, especially for computer science and electronics students. It's above 90% for computer science. Infosys comes every year for bulk hiring. For mechanical and electrical streams the placement are very low in comparison to others.

Placements: The placement of the college was very good as there were companies which took the students of each and every branch. Most of the students of our branch mainly joined the IT sector only. The average package offered by the companies was 3.2 LPA and the highest package was 15.8 LPA. The roles offered by the companies were mainly Software Engineers or Project Interns.

Placements: Placements were good. More than 90 percent of the students got placed in one or the other company. I personally got into 2 companies. Overall, my experience was good. Maximum salary offered was 14 LPA and average was around 3 LPA. Internships were also provided by huge industrial giants like amazon, cognizant, etc.

Placements: The placement was good. All that matters is the more you work hard, the better you gain from here. The highest salary package offered was 8 lakhs whereas the lowest was 1.5 lakhs. Companies like Infosys, TCS etc took a major segment of the students, and we have a placement cell here which is looking into such placement affairs.

Placements: Chitkara is continually focusing on its placement. A lot of big MNCs visit the campus for the placements. Also, it conducts pool campus placement events. The package at Chitakara ranged from high to moderate. Overall, a good student is sure to get placed in a good company with a good package.
