Q:   Is Christ Church College good for B.Com?

A:
{Source: B.Com students & alumni}

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's what you can expect:

Infrastructure: Average. The college buildings are old, and some facilities may require renovation. While there is a nice church and a library, there is no hostel facility or canteen.

Teaching Quality: Good. Teachers are generally well-qualified, experienced, and helpful. They explain concepts clearly and interactively.

Course Curriculum: Relevant, but could be updated. The course covers core commerce subjects, but some students feel it's outdated and doesn't prepare them adequately for industry expectations.

Placement Opportunities: Limited. Unfortunately, the college doesn't have a strong placement record, especially for B.Com students. Few companies visit the campus, and salaries are relatively low (average of INR2.5 Lacs per annum).

Extra-Curricular Activities: Limited. While there are some sports and cultural events organized, these seem limited in scope and scale.

Facilities: Limited. The college lacks modern infrastructure, including IT facilities, and some amenities are outdated.

In summary, while Christ Church College might be a good choice for someone interested in commerce, it may not provide the best placement opportunities or overall college experience. Students should weigh their options carefully before making a decision.

Q:   Question: How is the course curriculum for B.Com at Christ Church College?

A:
{Source: B.Com students & alumni}

Course Curriculum at Christ Church College

* Relevance: The curriculum is relevant to the course and makes students well-informed about commerce, business, and trade (Student 14).
* Teaching Quality: Teachers are well-qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful, making learning easier (Students 16, 22). They clear all doubts efficiently and provide quality education (Student 25).
* Curriculum Design: The course curriculum is designed to cover every topic necessary for a student to gain knowledge (Student 20).

However, it's worth noting that the curriculum may not make students fully industry-ready, especially for those not pursuing further education (Students 13, 24). Additionally, there seems to be limited emphasis on practical knowledge and internship opportunities within the course (Students 17, 23).

Remember, these points are based on the reviews provided by students and alumni, and the curriculum might have changed since the reviews were written.

Q:   Is Christ Church College good for B.Sc.?

A:
{Source: B.Sc. students & alumni}

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's what we've found:

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Christ Church College is average, with some limitations such as outdated fans, limited hostel and medical facilities, and lack of Wi-Fi connectivity.

Teaching Quality: The teachers are highly qualified, helpful, and experienced, providing valuable knowledge and guidance to students.

Course Curriculum: The course curriculum is relevant, concise, and detailed, covering both theory and practical aspects of the subject.

Placement Opportunities: While the college does not provide placements for B.Sc. students, many students have reported getting internships and jobs after completing their master's or Ph.D.

Student Feedback: Students have generally positive feedback about the college, citing the helpful teachers, relevant curriculum, and sports facilities.

Scholarship Opportunities: The college offers scholarships to deserving students from economically weaker backgrounds.

Here are some key takeaways:

* Pros: Highly qualified teachers, relevant course curriculum, scholarship opportunities
* Cons: Average infrastructure, limited hostel and medical facilities, no Wi-Fi connectivity

Honest review about my college.
Placements: Approximately 10% students get placement and the highest package was 1,50,000. The lowest package was 1,00,000 and the average package was 1,25,000. These packages were offered for B.Com students only. Top recruiting companies were local like, Tally Work, Data Feeding, etc. No internship offered. Top roles offered in our course were accounting, auditing, marketing, business administration, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities are not too much good. But the infrastructure of the college is quite impressive. Wi-Fi facility is not available for students. It is for teachers and staff only. Classrooms are big but not cleaned properly. Library is good and peaceful. You can study there silently. You can issue books also. No hostel and mess facility. Sports and games are available. NCC and NSS are also offered. You can join these also.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and Ph.D. holders in their respective subjects and possess experience and expertise. Teaching methods are satisfactory. Course curriculum is relevant. It will modify you. You will understand the concepts easily. Examinations are held once a year and the passing percentage is approximately 90%. Exam level is moderate. You can easily attempt questions if you have attended regular classes.

About my famous college in Kanpur.
Placements: The average package offered is around 2-3 LPA, which is not very good, just average. For internships, the percentage is about 60-70%. However, there are many students in this course. In my batch, there are 350 students, and more than 1,000 students are pursuing different courses in the college.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi, and borrowing books from the library involves a lot of paperwork, like getting signatures from different teachers. Students can only borrow one book at a time. Sports and medical facilities are good, and the canteen is okay, but it doesn’t have many items available.
Faculty: The faculty and teachers are helpful and qualified. Semester exams are conducted on time and are not very difficult for those who study well. Teachers explain everything before exams, so the teaching quality is good. This course is helpful for commerce students.
Other: I chose this course because I am from a commerce background. However, I hope the college improves its events and fest activities. Also, there should be better information about scholarships, as currently, no details are provided.

Helpful and qualified faculty, really good infrastructure, but placement are not really appreciable.
Placements: I don't think that there are a lot of opportunities for science students. There is more opportunity for commerce students as the banks and sales companies mostly hire them with around 3 lacs as an average package. For science students, I think there are fewer jobs through college, but we do have a placement cell.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really good. Our library provides us access to hundreds of books. Some of them are antique and hundreds of years old. There is no Wi-Fi available. We have a sports ground. Canteen is not really good. There is no hostel service.
Faculty: I would say the best thing about the college is it's faculty members. All of the teachers are really knowledgeable and qualified. They are ready to help us with all of our queries. The semester exams are relatively difficult. And the pass percentage is more than 60%, I think.

Satisfied with my college.
Placements: Almost 90% of students were placed in my college. About 70% of students got internship in various companies. Students who did not get any placements got the chance to learn something. There were almost 100 students in my batch. The top role offered in my course is charted accountant.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure were quite good. The library was there through which we could solve our queries. Medical facilities were also there to help students who needed them. Our college has NCC course in which interested candidates can take part.
Faculty: Teachers were always there to help students. Even when college time was over, teachers were ready to help students during the difficult times. They give us extra classes in exam times and help us to make our notes. Semester exams were not that difficult. Those who study well can clear the exams easily.
Other: I chose this course because I want to prepare for bank exams in the future. I have other plans and if I cannot clear the bank exams.

Christ church college review.
Placements: There is no placement at the college. Students need to focus on other things than college for placements or jobs like CS, CA, or other professional courses, CAT, other management courses, or other government exams. They don't provide placements or very low packages.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel facility at the college. Infrastructure is average. Not like other top colleges. It's average, but okay. No AC classrooms. There is no AC library. Playground is not in college. It's somewhere else. The college building is pretty but small. It has a GCR.
Faculty: The facilities are good. They help students. Some are not concerned. But others help a lot. They focus on the college circular only and have no other knowledge. They should add some other knowledgeable things for the students too. Students here don't come to college regularly.

Absolutely satisfied because of the faculty, good placement in 2024, and really good infrastructure.
Placements: The total number of students is approximately 545 in my course. I don't think we have received any packages yet, but the average package is 9 LPA, with the maximum package being 10 LPA offered in my course. Around 30 percent of students got internships from my college. Our college supports many shootings in the college.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are good. We have big labs, and the library is also good. The staff of the library is very good in nature, and I love it. The canteen is average. We have a very big ground for sports and games, and our college conducts many sports events, in which we did our best.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and very qualified professors who are knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good, and they are very friendly. Yes, the curriculum is very relevant. We have cybersecurity in our curriculum, and it does make us industry-ready. The difficulty level is intermediate in our college, and the pass percentage is above average.
