This college is not that worthy at all, and not up to the expectations.
Placements: The placements are average in this college. Around 50% of students have been placed which is very few in terms of getting placements. The highest salary package offered ranges from 22 LPA - 24 LPA in the year 2019 after that I have not seen any big placements.
Infrastructure: Each floor should have one washroom, and one drinking RO water, but there are no such facilities. Wi-Fi has low connectivity strength and the network is also not good on the campus. Classrooms are not cleaned regularly. The library is good.
Faculty: Teachers are good in comparison to the college infrastructure and facilities. This course is relevant. The semester exams in this college are not hard. The passing percentage is 33%. The mid-semester class has taken twice 20 marks in each.
Other: I opted for this course, because of my soft interest in this field from the beginning. I have grown up watching big transformers and transmission lines as our house happens to be near to the substation. The connectivity is not good on the campus.

The college charges a lot of money, but I did not get any good quality.
Placements: In our batch, there are around 100 students, but among them, only 50 students got placement from the college. The highest salary package offered is 3 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.50 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Brembo brakes and Usha Martin visit our campus for placements. Around 30 students got an internship in different companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities are not good. Lab and library are wonderful here. The Wi-Fi speed is slow, and it never runs for atleast 1 Mbps. The hostel room is bad, and a small room is provided for 2 students. The canteen gives us a clear picture of a 1980s small hotel.
Faculty: Teachers who are teaching us are not up to the mark, but few teachers are tremendous in their teaching. Because of these wonderful teachers, we are able to learn something. Some teachers in the lab use to watch videos from YouTube to learn the experiment. The course curriculum is a typical Indian type as it focuses on bookish language, not on industry life.
Other: I have chosen this course because I wanted to become a good engineer in my field and serve the country in the field of electricity.

CIT is good for those students who have not scored good marks.
Placements: During my tenure, placements in the college were not good. But now I have heard that placements are good on the campus. Around 90% of the students are getting placed from my course. The highest salary package offered was around 6 LPA and the average salary package offered was around 3 to 4 LPA. CIT has a placement cell which helped us a lot.
Infrastructure: The whole campus of CIT is enabled with Wi-Fi. Facilities provided in the college were average. There was a library in the college. The canteen offered good food. Hostel rooms were good, and you can also get rooms near the college area at cheap rates. Overall, the infrastructure of the college is nice.
Faculty: Teachers in college were not very helpful. Rote learning method from the book was used. Overall, faculty members were nice but needed to improve. We got industry exposure once a year. The course curriculum was very helpful, and everything was good in the end. Only faculty members were not very good.

Other: The college has good infrastructure and low fees but the faculty is not up to the mark. As compared to last year, the placements have improved. The students come from all over India in this college but mostly are from Jharkhand which affects the campus environment. I would not recommend this college to anyone due to it's faculty and the college environment.

Good placement in 2017-2018.
Placements: The placement of our college is not very good but according to me more than fifty percent of students were placed with average salary of 2.8 to 3 Lacs per annum, in companies like Panasonic, Infosys, Bureau Veritas, Bhilwara information Technologies, Orient Craft Pvt Ltd. , Tirupati Carbon And Chemical, Frigo Glass, JK Group, Air Jaldi Networks, and many more companies. Different companies provide different roles to the students in their company. Here is a placement cell that looks after all this in the college and is very active to invite companies for placement in college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good with Wi-Fi enabled campus, the labs are also very good. 24*7 Medical facility is available in the campus. Hostel is also fully Wi-Fi enabled. The rooms of hostel 2 are wonderful compare to hostel 1. There are some construction work is going on in the civil building. Overall the infrastructure is good.
Faculty: There are a sufficient amount of faculty members available for each branch in our college. Most of them are Ph.D. from NITs and different universities. The faculty members are very much helpful in our study. There are some topics which we study with the help of the projector. There is 1 faculty for every 10 students. Yes, we get industry exposure. There are many seminars organized for us by our college.
Other: We organize annual cultural fest every year named Genesis, and before Christmas, we have campus crowd. This year only our technical team named team Vidyut became the 2nd runner up in all India levels in the smart vehicle category at IISC Bangalore. We have our annual sports as varchsv every year and yearly technical exhibition as techno avishkar.
